About Yoga Flow SF - Union
Yoga Flow SF - Union is a serene and spacious yoga studio located on the second floor, filled with natural light and breathtaking views of the surrounding trees. The studio offers a range of classes, including heated power vinyasa and non-heated yoga, as well as yoga teacher trainings and workshops. The instructors are friendly, inclusive, and knowledgeable, providing a balanced practice experience. The studio's cleanliness and amenities are also noteworthy. However, some students may find the classes to be fast-paced and repetitive, and the music can be loud and distracting at times. Additionally, some instructors may be overly dramatic or focus on themes that stray from the traditional yoga practice. Despite these minor drawbacks, the studio's beautiful setting and welcoming atmosphere make it a great choice for yogis of all levels.
I give this studio 5 stars. Very clean, spacious, and beautiful space. Friendly front desk staff, and above all, very friendly and inclusive instructors. The only thing I’d complain about is the lack of friendliness and manners of the students. When someone else or I myself have to practice close beside one another when the class is packed, I always give them a smile or say hello, but they all usually have a stink face. Also when we’re done, the environment suddenly becomes unwelcoming. No one says excuse me to one another, and just reach all over each other to get their belongings in a way that makes me feel like just hurrying up and getting out of the environment...read full review
I attended the studio for over 3 months. Overall, I enjoyed the yoga classes and the quality of the teachers are quite balanced. There are a few factors that made me give them 4 stars instead of 5.1. The music is usually very loud and distracting. The loud music really diminished the purpose of doing yoga.2. The classes are overall fast paced. But the sequences are somehow repetitive flows. I got bored after attending the studio for 1 month or so. Please add some arms or balance variations into different classes.3. Some teachers are a bit overly dramatic. One teacher played a Sam smith song and told us to close our eyes and champion the power of getting over a breakup....read full review
I was in from out of town for a big conference & found this studio using Yelp! like I tend to do when I'm traveling. Took Hot Vinyasa Flow classes throughout the week I was in San Fran. My first class with Brie at 6:45pm was so amazing, that I came back the next night to take her class again. The space is nice and hot, feels around 100 degrees. The room is spacious and it seemed full, roughly about 20+ people in the space, but we still had room to move in class. Brie's queue's were fantastic, I easily followed her instruction without needing to look around to see what other people were doing. Also loved her music, it was a hip, loungy, chill playlist that I would expect to hear at fun spot in Miami or a rooftop bar. Her flows were challenging but pushed just enough, while offering lots of modifications for all levels. I also appreciated that the studio sold yoga clothes, since I only packed one workout outfit. I was able to buy a sports bra and leggings, which I wore the next night. The studio was very clean, the staff were delightful and I'm already sad that I won't be able to take Brie's class again. If I have the good fortune to come to San Fran again, I will def return to this wonderful studio. Dare I say, it was the highlight of my trip! (Just don't tell Salesforce I said that)
