If you’re looking for the best Japanese straightening treatment, Ana is the one to go to. I’ve been going to her for 11 years, and I truly couldn’t recommend her more. She does an incredible job every time—my hair always comes out silky, smooth, and most importantly HEALTHY.
My hair is naturally curly and frizzy, and is very hard to control but Ana has gotten it right. I only need a root touch-up with her every 4–6 months, which makes it super low-maintenance. Her prices are also very reasonable (especially for LA) and the quality of her work far exceeds what I’ve experienced at other salons.

I had the Everesse treatment at Atelier Aesthetix and had a great experience. The office is beautiful, very clean, and the entire team was incredibly kind and welcoming.

Today was my third experience with Colleen and Hearing Help and it's about time I gave her the praise she deserves. The office is delightfully personable and uncrowded, and she runs on time. I noticed some negative pror reviews about office staff, and I have two things to say about this. First I had no problems in the past, but this time there is a new young man at the desk and things went especially well as I had pleaded for a quick appointment for my sister who had a sudden loss of hearing that might have needed immediate medical care. He was caring , knowledgeable and helpful in every regard, from understanding my needs to working out the insurance. The test went easily and perfectly as they have every other time.

Dr. Vafa is AMAZING!!!! Super fast and skilled!! Pretty sure he saved me from a crown or worse, a root canal! He was able to fix my tooth quickly, and 3.5 hours later, I was all good! Janelle is absolutely amazing!! I wanted to dye my hair back to my natural light/medium brown color after years of black dye. I originally went to a different salon and ended up leaving with hair darker than what I even came in with. I was told there another stylist wouldn't be able to help me either and my goal color would be impossible to get with anyone. Instead they suggested I just let my natural hair grow out while continuing to cut the black hair off as it did. After that salon visit my hair was in an even harder place to work with after it had been unevenly bleached and then covered up with more black dye. I came to Janelle with such a tough canvas to work with after this and then using color removers to get the black dye out. My hair was 4 different shades of orange and brown. Despite this, in just one session with Janelle she was able to get me to my exact goal color. I left her studio with the perfect shade of brown hair and beautiful natural looking highlights throughout my hair. On top of that my hair felt as healthy as ever even after bleaching with her. It's amazing how talented Janelle is at color corrections! I felt completely hopeless about my hair until I was connected with Janelle, I was absolutely amazed at how knowledgeable and skilled she is. I couldn't believe how perfect my results came out with her. You truly cannot beat Janelle's level of expertise and care when you are looking for someone to work with your hair.

Marlene cuts me every week and she is fabulous. Since Covid began she is wearing a mask and has all of her clients wear a mask as well. She sanitizers everything after each customer. It’s a very safe environment.Most importantly her haircuts are great.
I had the pleasure of getting a haircut at Bruno’s Chop Shop and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I sat with Joe, the owner, and from the start, he took the time to ask exactly what I was looking for. He absolutely nailed the cut—it was exactly what I had envisioned.
Beyond the great haircut, Joe was incredibly personable, and we had a great conversation throughout the appointment. The shop itself has a cool industrial style that’s both modern and welcoming, creating a really unique atmosphere.

So few places cater to men's nails, and to be honest, a lot of guys get uncomfortable (even in LA) in a nail factory that's predominantly women. Noir Men's Grooming is the perfect place if you want privacy because there is only one guy at a time. It's also a total man cave with dark lighting, awesome tv, and no one else bugging you. The best, however, is the magnificent Natasha. Not only is she a perfectionist in cleanliness and her craft, but she is one of the kindest, most generous souls. I call her the oracle (from the Matrix). She takes everyone wherever they are. If you want to talk, she'll engage and be real. If you want quiet, she'll do that. Yes, it's going to cost you $70 more than a nail factory, but it's worth every penny for 90 minutes of peace, chill, and great service. This meticulous woman makes sure every nail is just right. Parking is easy underground at San Vicente and Wilshire, but when you leave, it feels like you just had a great hand, foot, and mental massage. It just doesn't get better than Natasha!
I was in town for my firm's holiday party on 12/9/23 and decided, last minute, to get a regular natural manicure rather than going with my emergency press-ons thatI had bought. I texted the number (per the outgoing voice message) and was so lucky to get a same day appointment with Natalie. I am still completely blown away at what an amazing job Natalie did. I have very VERY dry cuticles and hands and I have never had nice natural nails. Natalie had her work cut out for her and my entire experience with her has made this the best manicure I have ever had. I kid you not, every time I've had a regular manicure, the polish chipped the same day and my cuticle ended up looking scraggly within a week. This was not the case with Natalie. She is clearly an expert at her craft (and p.s. she only does regular manicures). In addition to taking such meticulous care of my cuticles and nails, Natalie was extremely knowledgeable and taught me how to take care of my nails and what to look for in a good manicurist. It is now 5 days later and I can't believe that my nails have barely chipped! They have lasted through a night of hard partying and all the hustle and bustle of two plane-bound trips since 12/9 - AMAZING. I am so bummed that I don't live in Beverly Hills but, when I come back, I will definitely make sure to book another appointment. Natalie - Thank you again SOOOOOO much for the incredible manicure!! You are a true expert!
Hustle Nailz is a VERY affordable nail salon that I recently started going to because I have a ? issue and when technicians cut me I cry for three days so I had to find a new place as my old place had hurt me a few times.
I have my nails done every three weeks - my gel on my fingers ($38) lasts perfectly and my toes are regular polish ($25). Massage is $1 per minute extra so I indulge in that too.
There’s normally ample parking outside and the people are so sweet. They play nice background music and they do my nails exactly like I want.

Since I've been going to Alanna, I've had people that I've never met assume I'm in my mid-20s (I'm 33).I also started getting carded for buying alcohol which was something that hasn't happened since I was in my actual mid-20s. Alanna is so patient, kind, and honest. She helped walk me through what to expect first time doing botox, and helped me to feel like me, but with a smoother forehead.

It's been three years since my last touch up and I needed consult on some IPL for long term sun damage. As usual, the results are amazing - I can't say enough except that my friends, family and work colleagues always comment on the quality of my skin and lack of sun damage. Dr. Prokupek (and Josh's) use of IPL, Fraxel and Morpheous have had such a positive impact on my confidence. Each session, Dr.Dale will fully consult with you about what is OPTIMAL for your skin and the shape of your face. Whatever you do- when pursuing any kind of aesthetic procedure, GO TO THE PROFESSIONALS, not some strip mall set up like a factory. Get the right work done in the right way.
Updated review -12/09/2020- I've continued my almost quarterly touch ups. The quality of care and results are amazing to me. Recently had the Morpheus, non-surgical treatment to address my jowls and drooping eyelids. I can't believe the difference. Although I went for the most agressive treatment I was at work the next day. The feedback from friends and coworkers back up the results. Can't say enough good things about them!

I have been going to Arina at Sophie wax for 10 years now and she's the only person I completely trust with all my waxing needs in Los Angeles. She is highly experienced, fantastic at what she does and gets everything really quickly and pain free. I've now moved to completely the other side of town, but I still drive over to Beverly Hills to see her, as my waxing appointments are always effortless. I usually get a Brazilian, top leg wax and on occasion lip. Highly recommend.

Marina is amazing!!! This the most thorough facial I’ve ever had. She does tons of steps and it all feels great, and she is so gentle. The extractions don’t hurt at all, and even when I’ve had a pimple that’s painful, she is able to work on it with as little pain as possible. And then, it disappears in 1-3 days. I had been following a lot of tiktok skincare advice and using way too many products. She got me down to just a cleanser and 3 products in the morning (including spf) and 2 at night and my skin has totally transformed. I’ve been to dermatologists for my rosacea and the treatment she gave me is much more effective. Also it’s just her and I love to support a woman-owned small business!

I had a great experience with this EV charger installation team. They were on top of everything from start to finish—super organized, communicative, and professional. They showed up exactly when they said they would, which I really appreciated.
My charger ended up being delayed from Amazon, but they were incredibly flexible. They still came out on Monday to complete the wiring, then returned on Wednesday to install the charger once it arrived. That level of reliability and follow-through made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
On top of that, they were just genuinely nice and easy to work with. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future.
9/17/2022This company does excellent electrical work. Our home needed to upgrade our electrical power boxes. The owner, Haim came to the home wrote an estimate and had his crew out to our house very soon to do the work. Their pricing I thought was reasonable. He and his staff are professional, helpful and patient; and they explain what they are doing. I was very pleased with the work. It is also noteworthy that when we had a problem with the power in our neighborhood, but mistakenly assumed it was our new power boxes, Haim came out on a Saturday to our home to help us check the power boxes. Of course the boxes had no malfunction, but it was a DWP problem in our area. Haim did not have to disturb his weekend to help us, but he did so and with pleasure. My wool Persian-style rug was under a leaking skylight for a while before I realized it was leaking, and the water damage caused it to rip in the middle when I moved out of that apartment. It sat for a couple years before I found SoCal Rug Masters.
I knew going in that this would be a difficult repair since it would need a patch, but they made it happen! They did a great job cleaning it, and the sewing around the patch is absolutely pristine. I was a little concerned about how hard it might be to find a similar donor rug for the patch, but they found one in a similar colorway so it doesn’t stand out too much. It’s easily covered by our coffee table. We just moved into our new place, and we’re still getting things unpacked (please pardon the junk in the photo), but the rug really makes our living room feel like home now.
This rug has a lot of sentimental value, and I’m so glad to have it back. I can’t recommend SoCal Rug Masters highly enough.

Dr. Siman has been treating my TMJ pain with headaches, ear, neck, shoulder. And his oral device is a piece of science! Prior to Dr. Siman I went to multiple specialists that included neurologists, chiropractors, various other doctors, surgeons, and even acupuncturists and some so-called "TMJ specialists" prescribed various "nightguards" that not even helped me but made the pain worse.
Dr. Siman diligently used his scientific techniques and advanced training and equipment to find my proper jaw position. He even has a CT Scan in his office and you don't have to go to a radiologist place and wait for days on your results. After a thorough consultation. He made me a TMJ device that started relieving my pain shortly after I used it.
He diligently followed me for more than 8 months to make sure that I am comfortable. He always welcomes me in his office. I am one of those patients that asks a lot of questions and he always took the time to care for me and comfort me. TMJ issues are very complex and I have found over the years that most doctors don't even understand TMJ and they call themselves TMJ "specialists." Believe me... I have learned this the hard way. Don't waste your money on worthless night guards that make your pain worse than it is. I never knew that teeth grinding could actually be stopped if your jaw is in the right position.
Dr. Siman's practice is all about TMJ and he is really a TMJ expert! I am now happier pain-free and it has even improved the relationships with my friends and my boyfriend.

It's so hard to find a really good chiropractor but Dr. Rashtian is excellent! He gets right down to business and gets to the root of the problem. I have long struggled with tension headaches, neck and shoulder pain and within a few treatments, I was feeling great relief. I started coming to Jamie at Elite chiropractic after I herniated my disc and was in severe discomfort. Every movement caused unbearable pain. My husband told me to start going to Jamie because he had the same issue as I did, and Jamie ultimately healed him. Jamie started me out on the decompression table and I felt immediate relief. I continued sessions with Jamie where he adjusted me, did muscle work, rehab, and the decompression table. I can finally say I am back to normal thanks to Jamie! I am an octogenarian who was referred to Dr Tong by my prior chiropractor Matthew Cobb. The transition was easy as both men are wholistic practitioners who utilize multiple treatment modalities.
Dr Tong is very perceptive as to my body’s needs and is skilled at addressing them. He is easy to talk to and has a nice sense of humor. His office has a clean, uncluttered look and Zen feel.
I am grateful he accepts Medicare. My only issue is that given my limited mobility, finding parking near the building can sometimes be difficult.

Absolutely amazing!! Love love love. I had liposuction with a circular tummy tuck. A couple of days after surgery, I was swelling up with inflammation, and it was even hard to breathe and move. The inflammation was in my entire back, in both my legs completely, and in my sides and abdomen. After ONLY my first session of a lymphatic massage, it was a complete night and day difference!! I could literally see and feel the inflammation had gone down by an incredible amount, and it was so much easier to breathe and move. Anyone with postoperative inflammation, I would definitely recommend seeing these women during your recovery for a lymphatic massage. Also, not only are the staff super friendly, down to earth, very knowledgeable and skilled, but they constantly support me in my recovery with tips, advice, and assistance. I can't tell you enough how huge of a help they have been. Also, not once have I felt like I was just a customer and/or someone to be sold a service to. I absolutely love these women and the services they provide. And as I said, they are definitely a must for anyone with postoperative inflammation. Their lymphatic massage is a total game changer in my recovery of my liposuction and circular tummy tuck.

I feel like she has given me a new body to embrace the second half of my life. She is firm but lovely. She always checks in on how my body is doing and makes adjustments if needed. She also is amazing at stretching any body part that requires extra attention. I adore her - she is a wonderful addition to a weekly routine I never expected to adopt.

I've been seeing Dr Lee for two months now and I haven't felt better than now in the past 7 years. Dr Lee is highly professional, very well educated, he paid a lot of attention to each symptom I described, analyzed all the provided information for correct diagnosis, explained clearly, what's going on with my body and provided me with a plan of a treatment. The payment for procedures is fixed, no hidden payments. And the most important part, the treatment itself. It's not the first acupuncture place I have visited, so I have a patient's experience in this area. Dr Lee has a complex approach to healing the whole body, not just the symptoms. I visit him twice a week and the results are just amazing: within two months I started to sleep well and calmly through the night, my shoulder pain is gone, my flexibility increased tremendously, my tmj pain lowered significantly, my stress level decreased drastically, I became much more calm and happy. The range of motion in my shoulders and hips is much wider, it's not painful to smile as it used to be. I don't panic as I used to, don't lose my temper, I have more energy, I'm not tired all the time as I used to be. The other doctors tried to treat my problems with drugs that affected my mood and overall well-being and didn't actually help. Dr Lee is the best doctor I ever met. Don't doubt, book your visit if you want to get real help. You will never regret this decision.
