If you have any need of a physical therapist, I highly recommend Julia Arvanites at Blake Physical Therapy. I'd been having back problems and was nervous about the process, as I was in discomfort and the idea of someone manipulating that area and/or exercising those specific muscles was daunting. But from my first appointment, I knew I was safe and in the hands of truly gifted and dedicated professionals who were invested in my swift recovery. Every session was an evaluation of where I was that day...that week. And now that I am approaching my last session, I have a full at home exercise protocol to take me from this stage forward. On top of the expertise there is also a really lovely vibe and a terrific team who are personable, efficient and great. Andrea is a phenomenal masseuse and she's incredibly reasonably priced! I had been dealing with sciatica for a few weeks. Andrea, in conjunction with some acupuncture visits elsewhere, relieved my pain dramatically after one visit. When Andrea gets to work it's immediately clear that she fully understands the skeletal and musculature systems, she's a definite god-send. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andrea to friends and family.

My hair was trashed!! I kept calling a million salons and Layeli's was the first one to answer the phone. I made an appointment online with Alex and he looked at my hair like it was a project and got SO EXCITED to do it. I love the results and if I could give him 100 stars I would. I'll definitely be going back to him for maintenance and I HIGHLY recommend 🫶🏼

I used to have red hair (dyed, not natural) and wanted to get platinum blonde for Christmas. Rachel said that it might not be possible, but at the end of the session I looked absolutely amazing. This happened in December 2021. Since then I’ve been coming every 6 weeks to get myself blondified (I love the platinum ice queen look) and my hair is looking amazing, doesn’t fall out, is thick. I’m loving it. First pic is the first time after being a red head. Second pic is the last time I got my hair done.
The only downside to this is that every time I get my hair done by Rachel, I feel so festive that I want to treat myself with some sidecar donuts (if you know, you know) and those donuts go straight to my thighs ???

First visit was for a necessary and lengthy color correction which turned out better than I could have expected and now this visit abt 5 weeks later for much needed root touch up and further dimensional hair coloring was a pleasant and amazing as the first visit. Keenan is not your typical stylist. He’s not money-hungry — he genuinely cares about the health of your hair and your personal hair goals. From the moment I sat in his chair, he took his time, asked thoughtful questions, and tailored his recommendations based on what’s realistic for my lifestyle.

I haven't had a professional haircut since covid, and I'm glad I went with Aleksei to bring my hair back into shape. I really appreciated his insights into how to shape my hair, where to continue growing it out, and his attention to detail when it came to texturing and getting it into the right spot. I'll be booking again with him in the future, the service and experience was well worth the price!

Old school barber shop run by a distinguished gentleman named George. He's quiet and unassuming and doesn't feel the need to engage in idle banter, which is perfectly okay by me. More importantly, he's a consummate professional. This shop has been in the same location for 47 years. Not flashy, and no KIIS-FM blaring in the background. I would wager it hasn't changed since the day it opened. But you don't keep a business running that long without offering a good service for a reasonable price. Will definitely go back.

Got a a great hair cut here. Clean and sharp and to exactly the length I wanted it. Carlos does great work very efficiently; I was out of there in 10 minutes. He's also a great guy and fun to talk to. Would highly recommend. Very reasonably priced for the area, but remember it's cash only.

Prepping for competition and have experience with tanning places - My first experience with that place. it’s been 3 days already and I see a great result of tan on my Full Body Uv Bed Tan, these tanning baths are great, second, I was really impressed by warm welcoming of Shakira, who runs that place, she is professionally introduced me into each room they have and differences, the way u can pick a right one for you ! I took a membership right away, absolutely worth each dollar. Highly recommend that place.

I've been going to World of Nails faithfully since I moved to LA 3 years ago and they always do an excellent job on manicure, pedicure and massage.
Today I got elaborate nails for a festival I'm going to and my nail tech Happy knocked it out of the park - I'll be a faithful client of hers from here on out. She not only executed my design ideas perfectly but suggested a few small things that made them even better!
When I was about to go, she offered a neck massage and she is GOOD. Shoulders, neck, scalp, 10min for $10. Feeling great relief from my chronic neck pain on par with much more expensive massages I've gotten.
If I could give the salon 10 stars I would! Happy can definitely execute your elaborate nail ideas with ease and speed, and all their techs are wonderful.
They did an amazing job, and were super nice. It seemed like they mainly did appointments, and I walked in like an idiot, but they were great about it. Nice people, and nice hot water for your feet, which is not always a given.
The aesthetian, Cathy, made the day for my young grandniece and I. I cannot thank Cathy and Artistic Salon enough. My grandniece chose her colors and Cathy went above and beyond to use these tiny little brushes and paint on in incredible detail various designs a child would love. My grandniece was thrilled. That's not all. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and chose a lovely blue color instead of my tired old rose color. Cathy asked if she might add some designs to my polish as well. Again, by hand, using these tiny brushes, she painted palm trees, sunshine, birds...it was so beautiful. And this was almost four weeks ago. The polish is still looking great on my toes (I didn't have my fingernails polished.)

All of the employees are talented, they make sure they always do a great job, they're friendly, they greet you by your first name, they're efficient, the salon is clean, and if you ever need something fixed they'll accommodate you and help immediately. I personally went for a hair trim and was happy with the results. With my mom though, he helped her a lot in removing and treating her hair after having her hair dyed in black and dark color for a long time (LONG time!) anyways he helped her in removing the dyed bit by bit on periodical visits, where it looks nice and smooth. Jorge is a good stylist and will definitely go to him for my next trim.

I just had my first facial with Neddy. I was referred by a mutual client with THE most beautiful skin, and she highly recommended Neddy. I quickly went online and reserved my facial.
I loved the convenience of booking online, being able to fill out my questionnaire and paying in advance. No papers, no need to bring my wallet.
Neddy was extremely welcoming from the entrance to the building (I was early, but waiting in the lovely aromatic reception room was so relaxing!) to greeting me, and then the facial itself.
She asked me to go over my history of skincare, my current care habits and she was very careful to note any allergies or sensitivities I might have, and yet she made it sound light and conversational - not like an interrogation. I liked that.
I had purchased a 1-hour experience, but I know she spent more time with me. The facial was customized for my skin type, age, habits and condition. Very gentle yet thorough. At the end of my session, I looked in the mirror, and I swear, I looked lighter; 10 years younger!

Sadly, Riordan has been closed for several months. The message left on the phone is that the company is restructuring. Usually means the passing of an owner. They were referring all calls to other plumbing companies back in May. I still hope that they may reopen but it seems unlikely since they would have had to lay off the entire staff.
After an absolutely hideous time with another company (see my negative review {among 24 for others!} for Rapid Plumbing and Heating) my electrician advised me to call this company. They came out within an hour and fixed the problem with our in-floor gravity heater (previously Rapid came out once - told me they had to get an expensive part and that possibly we would need to replace the entire heating unit - over two days and numerous phone calls - initiated by me - no one ever called back or came back to fix it!). I own rental units (5) plus our single family home and I will always recommend using this company, Jose was excellent - ask for him!
The electrician was very prompt with my request. I called and he came to my home. He completed his job in a timely fashion. He was very communicative and professional. He was easy to talk to and I would call them again should I need an electrician in Culver city.
American Eagle Services has done electricity work for my house on two occasions. They mounted and installed my TV, removed old wiring I no longer needed, installed new light fixtures, and did many other jobs for me. Both times they have professional and thorough. They do an amazing job, and work hard to ensure the client is satisfied. I recommended them to a friend who liked them too! I highly recommend American Eagle for your electrical needs.

We worked with Elite Home Builders on our ADU, which was a two car garage conversion in our backyard, and we’re really happy with the final result. It’s now a flexible guest room and office that also doubles as an indoor/outdoor entertaining space. The custom layout we came up with together works perfectly, and the passthrough window and outdoor bar have already become the star of the backyard. Guests keep commenting on the workmanship, the attention to detail, and how thoughtful everything feels.
A special shoutout to Sharon, who was fantastic to work with. He kept everything organized, stayed in close communication, and made the whole process feel manageable even when things got complicated. Gabriel was great too and really helped us think through finishes and the smaller details that make the space feel complete.
Like any construction project, we hit a few bumps along the way. The project took longer than expected, mostly due to a subcontractor delay and a very nit picky inspector who required a lot of extra steps. To their credit, Gabriel & Sharon stayed on top of both issues and chased everything down until it was resolved. The final price stayed within the contingency we planned for and the main overages were tied to the inspector’s requirements.
They were also super accommodating with the smart home upgrades I wanted to do myself. They ran low voltage conduit between the main house and ADU, let me pull ethernet and speaker wire after framing, and even coordinated timing with an external HVAC specialist so we could install the complex minisplit setup I wanted.
Every crew member who came through was courteous, respectful, and careful. The finishing work, especially the painting and drywall, was excellent. In the end we got exactly the ADU we envisioned and we’d happily work with Elite Home Builders again.
HAS Construction built my adu to perfection. The process was quick and clear. They charged me what they quoted me and not a dollar more. They delivered even better than I expected. This adu is beautiful and has increased the space my growing family needed. I talked to a couple other contractors and it was a nightmare. HAS stood by their word and delivered.

Staff are accommodating., kind and professional. But, I did have to ask several times for the electric tooth brush advertised for free with the cleaning. Also, the advertised free whitening was scheduled 6 months out....not with the cleaning appointment. That's a bummer! Otherwise, great experience.

I've been going to Kaufman for long enough that I can now confidently say they are the best dentists I've ever been to.
I first came to Kaufman after my previous dentist botched a double crown replacement. Kaufman fixed the problem and did a spectacular job replacing the two crowns. The care and expertise they showed throughout the process were miles above other clinics that I've experienced.
Cleanings are blissfully easy and pain-free, and the staff are always kind and welcoming. I've mostly seen the younger Dr. Kaufman, but both he and his father are excellent dentists and lovely people.
In short: this place rocks. If you're on the hunt for a good dentist, this is the one.
I love this place they really are the best! So grateful an old coworker recommended them to me as I had had several bad experiences at previous dentists after I moved to LA. I now live across town but they are totally worth the drive.

I’ve been going to Dr. Hogan for a few weeks now. I came In freaking out because of my constant headaches and vertigo that began. I went to what felt like a million doctor appointments, specialist, and nothing seemed to work. My husband would always tell me to try a chiropractor and to get adjusted so I decided to finally reach out and I am so so glad and happy that I did. I found Dr.Hogan and luckily was able to speak to him on the phone even before scheduling asking for advice. He immediately made me feel so much better and explained how he could help with my issue. You can really tell when someone is dedicated and passionate about their work. Dr. Hogan truly goes above and beyond and takes his time to understand your concerns. His team is always so kind and attentive. Within the few weeks that I have seen him I have instantly felt so much better and have not had a single headache or vertigo! I am very thankful for Dr.Hogan and his team! I will definitely be coming to Dr. Hogan for any adjustments, etc, and will definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family.
Dr. Takahashi knows exactly what he is doing, it almost feels like magic.when I started going to him, i had a lot of pain on my sciatic nerve; i feel much better now. The decompression table really helps, then he adjusts my spine, at the end of the session, i feel great; his assistant is a very nice person, she also knows a lot, and she is always willing to help you.
Dr. Sean is a talented chiropractor, and his friendly, caring demeanor always puts me at ease. I appreciate that he does manual adjustments on me as well as using adjusting instruments. The sinus adjustments are truly helping, and well I didn’t think adjusting my arthritic knee would make a difference, it really has done! I’m so happy I found this office!

I had been with this PT CLINIC for 20+years from Dr Scherr as I have a congenital scoliosis. So from Dr Scherr to Dr Lenartz Patrick, whom, l more than equally love. Now that Dr Scherr retired, he was able to replace himself a very knowledgeable Physical Therspist, who is in addition to an excellent therapist, nobody can beat his innermost qualities; patient, golden healing voice, and just one touch you get instantly well. His amazing treatments are endless and to him, we as patients come first. I’d been to many other PTs when I first came to America almost 50 years ago, I find Dr Patrick Lenartz as a gifted Physucal Therapist from my God. He is the PT among all PTs in this world. The Best! And very caring and he knows his stuff.
After suffering for several days with intense lower back pain, a family member recommended Blair Schoolhouse Chiropractic and I’m so thankful they did. I had been taking the strongest pain pills just to get by, but after my first session there, I was amazed. I walked out smiling again, feeling like the happiest man alive. By the second session, the pain was completely gone.

After an accident, I tried weeks of physical therapy with no pain relief. I found Guru Chiropractic and I can't say enough about how amazing all the staff are here. All the massage therapists are wonderful at relaxing the muscles prior to the adjustment. Dr. Rubens is very thorough in his intake and treatment. He has an amazing bedside manner and can really find where the pain is hiding to release it. Highly recommend for any back pain you may be experiencing.
Dr. Julia is personable and an excellent chiropractor. I will miss her as I’m moving to Bakersfield soon.
William, Kristin, and Victoria were so wonderful and very sweet. William was super reassuring and very easy to communicate with about our fur baby’s needs. They are very affordable compared to other places around LA and didn’t nickel and dime us when we were there. Highly recommend!

The teacher was very nice & attentive and I could tell that she was an expert yogi. The moves were pretty challenging yet doable. The facility is very clean and loved all the staffs :)

I have been attending Pilates classes for over eight years here, and I can assure you that if you want to experience “real” Pilates, you need to try this studio. Their technique is incredible and I always leave feeling my best.
They pay close attention to your injuries and special needs, doing their best to address each issue, the way Pilates should be.
Classes are small, so instructors can pay attention to everyone.
It's definitely not pretentious like many other studios in LA where you feel like you need to dress up. Just show up with your sticky socks, and it's always a good workout.

Andrea is a phenomenal masseuse and she's incredibly reasonably priced! I had been dealing with sciatica for a few weeks. Andrea, in conjunction with some acupuncture visits elsewhere, relieved my pain dramatically after one visit. When Andrea gets to work it's immediately clear that she fully understands the skeletal and musculature systems, she's a definite god-send. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Andrea to friends and family.

I first came to Escape Day Spa Culver City with a gift card over 3 years ago, and have been a regular ever since. The price point is great too, but mostly the massage therapists are intuitive and responsive and best I have had. I appreciate the receptionists too so much. it's a good vibe all the way around!

She has a gentle, calming presence that immediately helps you relax, and her facial massage techniques are incredible. Every appointment feels peaceful and rejuvenating, and I always leave feeling refreshed.
