    I had such a great tattoo experience here! I walked in on a random Saturday, and they were able to take me. The atmosphere is great, very zen as the name would suggest. I think it would be a great place for someone who might be nervous about getting a tattoo, or even just prefers a less chaotic environment. My tattoo artist, Raivo, was super patient with me while I described what I was looking for, and he drew it out, edited it, and resized/repositioned it on my body.     I discovered Horimaki last year on instagram and instantly loved her work. An opportunity arose for me to book an appointment with her and I did so without any hesitation. Upon entering Inked Zen, I felt very at ease; the name of the studio truly resonates with the atmosphere. You have to take off your footwear upon entering, which I appreciated, being Asian myself. The space itself was very clean and slick with Japanese influence which I loved. The sound master/designer Nic kept the space a soothing environment with his carefully curated music and sounds.     Maki is by far the best free hand artist I’ve ever met! She definitely has angel hands, where it lead me to nap during my session lol. Such a sweet heart as well! ♥️ Will absolutely recommend!Services: Tattoo design

Inked Zen is a Japanese Zen inspired Tattoo & Meditation studio. The space is cultivated by renowned tattoo artist Hori-Maki, and certified sound practitioner Nicolas Sotomayor. Inked Zen blends the elements of a traditional Japanese tattoo parlor with the energy of wellness studio. A fusion of art and healing. They created their own style of "Zen Healing", which combines Irezumi, Japanese culture, and the therapeutic benefits of sound and vibration. They believe the artistry of tattooing is a meditative and healing experience.
