“I bought a pair of glasses with progressive lenses from a custom lab before I moved to California. They were perfect, but unfortunately, the frames broke. So, I went to three different places over two years to find replacements but none of the glasses matched the quality of my original pair. After doing some research, I realized that the poor results were due to fitting and manufacturing issues. Nowadays, most glasses are manufactured in central labs, which eliminates the personal touch required for working with progressives. So, I started looking for a place with an in-house lab and found Optometric Cafe in Beverly Hills. Although it was a bit out of my way, I decided to give them a try. When I called for an appointment, I spoke with Morteza, the owner, who was kind and pleasant. He quickly scheduled my exam and personally handled the fitting and measurement process. When I received my glasses, the quality was incredible, which confirms the importance of fitting and measurements. Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience at Optometric Cafe and highly recommend them to anyone with a tricky glasses prescription.“

Ackley and Sloane are friendly, smart and extremely helpful. In the past I have bought frames from them and had my prescription filled here too. “A truly break through experiencence for my eyelids! Before my visit I didn't even know what "dry eyes" meant. In fact, I thought I had excessively wet eyes, because of how much they watered at night. I found out that it was the opposite situation, and that my eyes were watering because so many of my tear ducts were plugged. Dr. Silani suggested some treatments, which I elected to do. Boy am I glad. Both Dr. Silani and her assistant were very gentle. My eyes feel so much better.“
