We are so grateful for the help JD Mechanical gave us. Our air-conditioner wasn't working, they were so friendly and helpful, they came out to check out our air-conditioner in a timely manner. After finding out that our home warranty company wasn't going to cover the replacement even though they were informed it was normal wear and tear. The unit was 20 years old. They were so helpful in trying to get the insurance company to cover under our policy, goes to show another insurance company taking your money and not following through with their responsibility under our policy. Actually.... I went with a friend but, I can tell you what a wonderful job they did. She has really thin hair and had it trimmed and got extensions but, not to make it longer but, to make it fuller. It's a little pricey but everyone is worth it at some point

The barbers are extremely friendly. That’s what you expect out of a barbershop, to feel welcome and especially when you have a child. There were some kids that came in looking to raise money selling snacks and drinks, the owner decided to offer all the customers that were getting cuts & waiting anything they wanted and paid for it. Very first time in here and quite the impression. Prices are reasonable. Haircuts are nice. Will be coming back.

Stopped in for spray tan when I was in town for a wedding and received the most golden bronzed spray tan that lasted dayyys and the best part? It didn’t have the usual spray tan smell, iykyk. They also have the cutest bikinis and clothes now. I guess don’t come here if you don’t want to look and feel cute. Thanks EZ tan.

I went in for the Luxury Head Spa last night after work. It was a wonderful experience. I expected her to exfoliate my scalp and wash my hair. She did so much more. She started with my scalp, but also gave me a full facial. It was a massage and then a blow dry so I wasn't leaving with wet hair. She checked in with me frequently on pressure and temperature. I fell asleep during the massage with water. It was so relaxing. She started with medium to hard pressure and asked if I wanted her to adjust harder or softer. She used so many products and my skin felt so soft. I loved the experience and will do it again. I can't recommend enough.

I've always had a wonderful experience here. The customer service is superb. All the staff is very attentive. I have done my eyelashes, nails, and have had the scalp massage done here. My eyelashes lasted about a month before I needed a refill. My nails are always so cute! I ask for Emma when I come in for my nails. The scalp massage is very relaxing with aroma therapy incorporated into the lemongrass treatment which about 50 minutes long. It is well worth it. I had a very dry scalp at the time and I came out of it with shiny hair that was noticeable all throughout the week and no signs of dry scalp.
If you’re looking for a place to do your mani and pedi, this is the spot !! The environment is so welcoming, all the girls are so nice and do an excellent job. So sanitary and clean and they help you grow your natural nails amazing and healthy. They boosted my confidence with my pedicures tremendously and will not be going anywhere else. I was hesitant trying a new nail salon after a previous bad experience. I was also nervous because I chew my nails and worried about judgment. Coco was nice and made me feel normal. She has a wonderful attention to detail and checks in at each step to make sure I liked my nails! She was very gentle! Getting acrylics can hurt, but she did her best to make me comfortable. She even worked with me to cover up my natural nail beds when I wanted French tips! I will definitely come back and recommend her to friends.

Ok im a plus sized lady, i love that these ladies don’t give me the typical judgemental glares of disgust ive recieved in other more nasty, busy, unsanitary, places. There are two ladies always since i have been coming here. 2018, Lynna, has always greeted me with a warm welcoming tone. Her buddy Diem knows her stuff careful to do the pedicures, knows her craft, has delicately taken care of the beggining ingrown nails that i have try to grow. She always opens a new package of instruments to clip, and use on each customer service! That is a MUST for me! In other busy places! They don’t! And get offended when you speak up! & request a sanitized set of tools! Im NOT with that! Drives me furious! Why would the customer have to ask? They also use new scrubs to do ones feet! Very very good as who wants other ppls dead foot skin on theirs? Im so happy to find them still open inspite of what i think was a break in! Love love love Lynnas nails! Oh n their prices! $25 for a regular pedi? Well done spa pedi! Ooh n they do brows too! Cant beat that! Gel is extra of course! But well worth it! Love these ladies n i refuse to go anwhere else! Chris is very attentive he knows how to work with my acne, a lot of estheticians feared doing extractions or did very minimal due to inflammation he is full of knowledge and answers all my questions. I have never felt embarrassed talking to him or letting him touch my face I've dealt with acne my whole life and I have finally found someone that gives me hope

If it's your first time getting a Brazilian, this is the place to go. These ladies are polite, comforting, and professional. And if you already get Brazilians and have a miserable time, this is definitely the place to go. Both women take their time, use quality materials and do their best to manage the discomfort. As soon as you walk in, you notice the cleanliness. They also have a cute little shop with purses, lingerie, and other accessories. Because the lingerie is such decently priced, I get something every time I get a wax! I give both ladies 10 out of 10.

The booking process was so easy and their step by step process really helped guide me during this busy time. I can not compliment their professionalism enough! Allie my makeup artist was fantastic! She was kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating during my makeup trial and the day of my wedding. As someone who does not wear makeup often, I was so happy with my end look and was complimented the entire day! I truly enjoyed listening to her connect to each of my bridesmaids while they were getting their makeup done and appreciated that she listened to their wants as well. i was incredibly fortunate to be tattooed by javi (@javixtatuajes) in june of 2025! i had been wanting an american traditional piece for a while, and really loved his flash. javi was so welcoming throughout the entire process and everything went so smoothly. the shop was clean, comfortable and all of the artists had a great vibe. i ended up getting flowers around my elbow, and he was so patient with me as it was a pretty tender spot. it’s healed beautifully and i will definitely be frequenting top hat for more ink!!

Went to get my right nostril pierced today, I had my left side done by Chris which he did an amazing job, quick and painless, healed perfectly too! We discover a ceiling leak on a Sunday morning. We called Prodigy Flow plumbing and Kevin answered the call right away. Explained to him the situation and he was at our place within an hour. He assessed the the source of the leak and got the parts to repair it. It took a little longer to repair because he found some adjacent fittings that also needs replacing to prevent future leaks. We really appreciate that he was observant and responsive. He made sure to stay around after the repairs were made to check for leaks. Very professional and responsible. We're so happy to find such a honest and friendly plumber. We're saving his number in our phone. Thank you Kevin!

We had some extreme pet damage from the previous tenants in our home, and he came in and pulled magic. The carpets are much cleaner, and the pet smell is gone. There were some stains he couldn't get out, but he was upfront on setting the expectations, and they came out better than I would have expected.

Darrell did a fantastic job cleaning the carpets throughout my entire home. From the beginning, he was honest, professional, and very prompt. He even came out the same day to provide an honest estimate. What really stood out to me was his integrity — he told me my hardwood floors did not need cleaning instead of trying to upsell unnecessary services.
The carpets came out great, and he even followed up the next day to make sure everything looked good once the carpets had fully dried. Excellent customer service, reasonable pricing, and truly hard to find someone this honest nowadays who isn’t trying to nickel and dime you for everything.

I just found my forever carpet cleaners!! I decided to try this company and I am so glad I did. They arrived right on time, which was nice since I had unexpected plans come up for the afternoon. I like how they used wall bumper things to keep the edges of my wall safe from the equipment they were using. They treated my big stains with a pleasant citrus scented cleaner before starting. The price was fair compared to other carpet cleaners out there, but the friendly staff, extra time and care put them over the top. Other companies send out young teenagers who rush through the job without attention to detail, but not Kern Floor Care. Here are my own personal before and after images. I am already wanting to schedule my next appointment to have my tile/grout cleaned! 10/10 would highly recommend.
We hired California Carpet Cleaners to clean our floors (tile and carpet) before moving in. Emilio was kind and very professional. He came by to do a walk through and give us a quote. We liked them so much we decided to hire them for the job and Emilio was able to squeeze us in for the next day. He arrived on time and ready to work. They did an amazing job on the floors and even did one of our area rugs, which by the time he was done with it looked brand new. The whole job took about 3.5 hrs for a nearly 2200 sq ft house but was done very well with great attention to detail. I’d highly recommend this company to anyone who needs carpet or tile cleaning!
It was Strip and Wax for floor that I needed for my business, Both Guys Worked hard and Got the Job done :) Price was set according to the Sq footage(And not like Randy’s From Pacheco/Stine who be giving a high price first then lowering it). I have three rope rugs that needed to be cleaned and repaired. He was very honest with me that I could buy new ones cheaper than it would cost to be repaired. They are very very old. They belong to my great grandmother. I had them repair and clean. He did a wonderful job Repairing them and cleaning them. I appreciate his honesty. It’s hard to find people like that. He’s honest reasonable and does an awesome job. I just wanna say thank you the rugs will be passed down to my grandchildren.

We have been using BKFD Pest Control for about 12 years or so! I have had many opportunities to switch to another company that has tried to beat their prices, but have always declined ! when asked why I declined their offer I tell them there is no way they could match the service we receive with BKFD Pest Control! The owner Lynn is a top notch professional, he has always been very kind and caring about his customers. The techs that have been out to service our home are the same way! That tells a lot about a company by the way the employees hold their position at a high standard! Anytime I have had an issue even if they had already come out to service for the month, they would not hesitate to come right back and do it again if I freaked out over a little bug. We had an empty house near by us once and it was infested with roaches, one day a roach walked in my front door and I jumped right on the phone to call them out but accidentally called BKFD Police by accident...long story short that 911 operator got quite the laugh when I was telling her to send someone out because a domesticated cockroach walked through my front door....LOL...then I called the correct # and Lynn sent someone out the next morning! I just got a stump down job done by Alspaw, and I am extremely happy that I called them to get this done. They are not only the most professional dealing with customers and getting the job done, but they are extremely competitive. They came with heavy equipment and got my HUGE stump down to nothing in less than two hours. I had brand new cement next to it, and they did it with so much care that my cement was intact.

Lesaca Landscaping recently re-sodded my front and back yards. I was given an estimate for the project in advance, and that estimate was ultimately very accurate. The project was started and finished in the timeframe I was initially given, and the finished project was even better than expected. Lesaca Landscaping went above and beyond, finding issues I didn’t know existed with my irrigation system and correcting them before laying the new sod. So I was extremely nervous going in because I have had a ton of issues in the past with another dentist office. Staff was amazing easy to talk to very understanding I had a procedure done and it was painless, doctor did amazing in asking if I was okay throughout. The hygienist was amazing he talked to me throughout my visit, during x rays and honestly it didn't feel like I was sitting in a dentist office. Staff there is very welcoming and respectful. I could not have asked for a better visit. I will not be going anywhere else. I highly recommend them. Also if you like me where you sit and read reviews prior to appts just remember not everyone has the same experience just go and see for yourself how truly amazing this place is.

I first visited Envista for pain in my left knee. I’m super happy with how my first visit went. They are super attentive and friendly. They aren’t in a rush to help you, they’re very thorough and knowledgeable as well.
During my first visit, I had some X-rays done and I’m very grateful I got them done because I found out lots of information about my entire body, not just my knee. I ended up learning that I had a couple of issues going on with my neck and spine which explained a lot of the pain and symptoms I had been experiencing including my knee as well.
They informed me of all the different options I had available, explained to me how they would help me, how they work, and what would benefit me most. I really appreciated them breaking down the options I had and letting me decide what I wanted to do moving forward to help resolve these problems as well as preventive measures we can take to ensure it doesn’t get worse.
I would highly recommend Envista to anyone and actually have already suggested it to several friends as well as my entire boxing class.

Made an appointment with Dr. Seth Garza and he was able to get me in the same day, which I really appreciated. I was dealing with some back issues and went in to get adjusted. He was super professional checking me in, took great care of me, and got to all the areas I needed help with. The whole experience was really relaxing and the pricing was great. Seth is a great guy and clearly knows what he's doing. If you need an adjustment and want to get your body feeling right, this is definitely the place to go. One of the best in town for sure. I'll definitely be coming back.

His staff are amazing, some may seem short but it’s only because they’re so busy but trying to be efficient and getting everybody in and out and their pets cared for in a timely manner. They estimated 2-4 hours, but I saw the doctor in less than 2. The doctor was kind. They took care of me and my dog. It was totally chaotic in the lobby when I first arrived, and everyone in front of the office was very professional. They did not oversell me on services and were clear on the estimate before proceeding with diagnostic procedures. It was expensive compared to a regular vet, but exactly what I expected from an emergency vet, reasonable for what it is.

This place is great and really takes care of your dog. I don’t know if it’s coincidence or what, but whenever my dog is finished getting groomed, he does not seem as startled or stressed as he does when he goes to other locations. And of course the grooming is top-notch. We have a specific style we want for him and many places can’t get it correct. But they nail it here.

I was given one price at first, then a different price, and then yet another price. The lack of transparency and consistency was a major red flag.
On top of that, the work they did was absolutely terrible. Poor quality, careless, and far below any acceptable standard. What we received did not match what was promised at all.
This business shows no professionalism, no honesty in pricing, and no pride in their work. I strongly regret trusting them with my dog and would never recommend this place to anyone.

My mom recommended this place to help with my sciatica. She could barely walk and masseuse changed her life. She's able to walk and work after a few sessions. When my pain began a couple weeks ago, she brought me here and im so thankful. The masseuse is really kind and she prioritized my wellbeing. So far I've had 2 sessions and I'm able to move around now. I plan to go back next week and I am recommending anyone who is really desperate for help. I did a 30 minute session my first time because I was in a lot of pain, but I was able to do the full hour today. She's amazing and I am forever grateful for her assistance because I was entering a depression from the pain. She saved me.
Jay provided a great massage! He created a very relaxing atmosphere and can be very gentle at times, but also knows the body really well and gets into your problem areas to remove the aches and pains. I personally love a deep massage but he can provide anything in between to fit whatever your needs are.

i've been getting massages for many years now, and I can say that this is the best place to get massages. These ladies are amazing, and very, very professional. I do not go anywhere else, and I've been coming to this place particularly for the last two years straight. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for professional massage therapists.
My husband and I get massages every week from these massage therapists. They are great at what they do and very knowledgeable of the problem areas that we need work on. The heating pad on the massage table is a nice touch, and the atmosphere of the room is very relaxing.
I am so glad I found Jeanne's services. She is a top notch masseuse with a holistic approach. She is very knowledgeable and even in a short 30 minute session, worked out a deep strain in my shoulders and helped me relax as I get closer to delivery. I have been nervous to get a massage while pregnant, but she made me feel comfortable because she is very knowledgeable. The space is a relaxing retreat, hygienic, and Jeanne is very professional and knowledgeable. I truly believe this is the best place for a massage in Bakersfield, and I highly recommend booking an appointment with Jeanne.

Dr Lee has helped me decrease foot and ankle pain substantially. The office is calm and peaceful and I look forward to my twice monthly visits. An additional bonus is that my blood pressure has stabilized and I'm now in the normal range.

I visited Dr. Kim over a year ago after several friends recommended her for me to help me with my lower back pain (especially in the mornings). She was very helpful in not only relieving the pain but also educating me on how I was walking, sitting, sleeping and standing that were impacting my posture. After working towards making changes in my sitting, sleeping and standing the lower back pain is no longer there. The experience a little intimidating since I knew I was going to be punctured all over my back but the process was not painful only minimal discomfort in certain areas. I recently came back for shoulder relief and again had a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim if you are experiencing any pains.
I have been experiencing extreme pain in my leg from Sciatica for 3 months, I went to the hospital, private clinics, but they only gave me medication for pain, honestly none of that makes me feel better.When I came to see Dr.Lin, I could barely stand. I've been seeing him for years (for maintenance treatments after solving my initial overwhelming pain). Has been the ONLY thing that worked for my back pain.

She’s honestly the ONLY Dr. who leaves me better than the way she found me emotionally and physically. I left telling her “I love you”. I was having extreme chronic back pain and decided to do acupuncture. I've done 4 sessions and I feel like it has helped a lot. The doctor (not sure of his name) has definitely been a miracle worker. When you are dealing with Chronic pain and fatigue and notice your pain has decreased and your energy has increased then that person is a hero in my eyes. He is a miracle worker.
