Cookie is the best! I have very thick, curly hair and haven't been very successful in finding the right stylist until Cookie. I showed her a pic of the haircut I wanted, she patiently listened to me rant about my hair and started right away. In 30 mins I got the exact style I wanted. Very efficient and friendly. She's been doing this for 30 years! She's also very busy and gets booked out very far. You can park in the garage and walk by and let her know you are there. She'll let you in. I can say I have finally found a great stylist!

6/5 stars. I've been coming to Weldon Redmond for years and have gotten cuts from many of the people working there(mainly Katherine/britney). I always somewhat felt it was expensive but every single time I've tried to get a haircut somewhere else in Redmond I end up having my hair butchered and am forced to return to Weldon Redmond and get it fixed. Weldon at this point is underpriced because I save money by not having to use more product to cover up a botched haircut or get a haircut even sooner after a botched haircut.
I will never get another haircut anywhere else as long as I am living in the eastside. Katherine and Britney at masterclass but I'd bet everyone working there is held to the same standard.
I don't like thinking about my hair. I just want a normal haircut. Not trying to draw attention or pull off any trendy style. If you want a normal haircut this is the place. It cost $36, I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Nice fella. Definitely gonna be my new spot.

This is my favorite nail shop I’ve ever been to!! All of the ladies are so kind and talented. They prioritize a clean environment as well. I’ve been to many different nail salons and mostly always left bleeding/scraped up or not 100% satisfied with my nails or my experience. I had even stopped wanting to get my nails done altogether. I’d been a regular at multiple nail salons over the years but never been acknowledged or treated like they remembered me. I’ve had the complete opposite experience at Nancy Nail & Spa. They always remember me and many of the other clients that come in and ask about our lives (and remember details). It’s of course not an expectation of a nail salon but it’s nice to be appreciated and remembered. In addition, everyone is so skilled, takes their time to make sure that the nails are done well, and that you’re happy with them. I’ve loved all my nails and different styles I’ve had done here. This is the first place I’ve been that does a jelly pedicure that lets you soak your feet in a fun squishy mixture. It’s a great experience! This is the first nail salon I tried out since I moved to the state and feel like I hit the jackpot. Totally recommend!

i've been here many times for both pedicure and manicure. for plain polish, the service is very quick which is great, and they last long compared to many other places that do plain polish. for gel, i've only done manicure, and it has been a great experience with Stephanie. She's talented and is great at doing whatever design you ask, even from online. it's a good experience overall. the gel lasts very long, i left it on longer than I should have, and it didn't chip or anything. Highly recommend working with Stephanie.

Went in today, close to close, after my daughter broke her (first time!) shellac nails. The front desk gentleman was so kind and helpful, and got her back to a wonderful nail tech to help support her in taking care of the nail as best they could (it was a deep cut, of course!) They refused to let me pay or tip and I felt horrible not having cash on me. So, to repay their kindness is to share the great experience I had. If I lived closer, this would be my go to location solely based on the care of their customers. Thank you for also modeling kindness and compassion to a child in a time that that’s so rare to see. ❤
I took my 3 year old kiddo with level 2 autism here and Michelle was so amazing with him. He sat there on her chair at complete ease (she has a little seatbelt!) and aged with her cool toys the whole time. I highly recommend her.
Ella is fantastic! I had an anti aging facial and she removed two skin tags. She also waxed and dyed my eyebrows. I have sensitive skin,, but there were no lasting marks from the skin tag removals, hair waxing or from the clearing up of my skin after not having a facial for way too long. My skin looks so much clearer now that she did her magic. I loved the hand wax and massage that she did while she left some of the products on my face. First off... I'm a bit ocd when it comes to placement. David came out to our home and didn’t block my wife's car in like the plumber prior, which started this off so much better. He wore gloves and a mask before he got to my door. Covid-safe is always a plus. Once in, navigated straight to the problem. I had a leak, the smallest pin hole leak behind my water heater. All the work was clean, he didn't set a tool on my floor or counter- as he came in with drop cloths. He didn't seem to mind my kids as during these times a person in our home is huge. My boys are 5 and 2 and full of energy. Fixed our leak and he suggested to replace our water heater which at first I was slightly discouraged about. But since it was 13 years old, I called a family friend and confirmed his suggestion was accurate. All around a great experience and worth every penny. The electrician spent a couple of hours replacing a few bad circuit breakers and making sure the panel was grounded properly, and since then, no problems. This was more reassuring than my experience with another electrician who misdiagnosed the problem.
Started this cold morning with no power, a blown and hot breaker, intense electrical fire smell, and a visit from the fire department.
We called Linder and they sent Kevin to our house within a couple of hours. He was thorough, explained what was going on, answered our questions, and fixed the problem without trying to pressure/ upsell us or charge out the nose for an emergency visit. A really stressful situation became manageable, and I'm incredibly thankful for that.
We won't hesitate to use Linder again in the future.

We had hardwood installed thru out the living room, hallway and bedrooms aswell as painted the bedrooms and family room with an accent color wall in each. I got just the clean and modern look I was looking for. I was happy with the work done by Alda and will certainly call them for future projects.

We worked with Dmitry and the Emerald City Construction team to renovate two major spaces in our 1920s Seattle craftsman: an outdated kitchen (much needed, as you can see from the before photo) and a basement build-out (including a new bathroom, laundry, and living space). Everyone was collaborative from start to finish, and with updating the house on our minds again, we wanted to recap our experience for anyone else considering their own home renovations now!
Dmitry kept us updated through every stage of the process, from initial scoping and mid-project adjustments to the final walkthroughs. Even before work began, he helped us think through how to phase our projects based on what we needed in the moment vs. what we might want in the future. After the work wrapped, he stayed in touch for warranty touch-ups and even helped us spitball ideas for potential next updates.
Eric was our main on-site contractor and always made time to talk through decisions, no matter how many questions we had (and we had a lot — sorry, Eric!), whether it was about framing timelines or something as specific as outlet placements. On the design side, Alena guided us through everything from the big-picture layout to aesthetic details like mixed-metal hardware and lighting. She was always flexible when we wanted to explore options and gave us thoughtful recommendations and visual references that helped us feel sure and happy about our final choices.
We also appreciated the extended crew and ECC partners who helped bring everything together. A big shoutout to Timothy from European Custom Cabinets in Arlington for the beautiful cabinetry in both our kitchen and laundry, Nikita from the site crew for all the demo and prep work, and everyone else who had a hand in making our space feel like home. I had an old shingle roof on my Redmond home that was close to 50 years old, and of course, it started leaking right as Seattle’s rainy season was about to begin. Perfect timing, right?
Wilson from Mass & Mass came out to inspect it, gave me a competitive estimate, and had the roof replacement scheduled just a few days later. Then his crew showed up — and honestly, it felt like a SWAT team had descended on my house in the best possible way. Clean, organized, focused, and crazy fast. It was almost like watching a movie.
Within three days, I had a brand-new roof with a 20-year warranty. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one impressed. A few neighbors texted me asking, “Who are these guys?” One of them even hired Mass & Mass to do his roof too — probably because of the movie-like SWAT-team impression, but definitely because of the price, speed, and quality of the work.
Then Wilson and his team saved me a second time.
When I decided to sell my home, I suddenly had a long pre-listing punch list from my real estate agent and only a short window to get everything done. Wilson’s team jumped in again. Cen and his brother Aidan handled the outside perimeter — walls, deck, yard, locks, and more — while Mario and his crew took care of the interior work, including doors, painting, electrical, appliances, and all the little details that matter when getting a home ready to list.
From the moment I decided to sell, we were able to plan, source materials, schedule crews, and complete the work in about three weeks. The team stayed on schedule, stayed very close to the original budget, and delivered when it truly mattered.
It all paid off. My home sold within 10 days in a tough 2026 market where even great, well-located, well-priced homes can sit for weeks or months.

Tanya was a rockstar - super accommodating even for our smaller project. And had awesome ideas for making the most of the quartz. It turned out phenomenal, with details like a waterfall and notching to fit perfectly under the custom cabinets. The install team was fantastic too. So professional and friendly to boot. We'll come back to NorthWest for all of our quartz in the future, no question!
We had a concrete walk way and stairs in our old home, the team did a great job demoing, prepping and laying pavers with lights underneath the stairs. The team was also prompt in fixing any issues that came up after. Happy with the walk way now.

Saved $400 on a routine tooth extraction for my mom. I will not mention in this review the business we went to initially, 3 or 4 days prior to going to Redmond Family Dentistry, but if you look up my name you will see it. They were charging $500. Redmond Family Dentistry had zero predatory sales tactics, just nice people, that like doing nice things, for people in need of quality care. It's not complicated, other businesses can do this, it is how it should be. The staff was very understanding, everyone was sweet, also their waiting room and offices were so clean and comfortable. The waiting room had incredibly nice furniture, the chairs we extremely large and soft, nice lighting, magazines! Not everyone is on their phone 24/7, people still like reading. So they get even more points for that. I can't rate this place highly enough, please go here. Please. Good people need to know they are doing the right thing, and they must be incentivized. When I see these corporate clinics with their sales quotas and predatory billing tactics, with 899,000 5 star reviews...literally more than the population of the town they inhabit, ugh...Treat yourself well, support good people, and go to nice places like this.

I had an excellent and amazing experience with them. All the staff were very kind and caring. The doctor patiently explained all the treatment methods to me and tried to do what was cost-effective for me. I had three crowns made and visited them multiple times for other issues. They were always nice. I can’t go anywhere else now because I feel they help me as compassionately as my family does.

Had a tooth break over the weekend. Dr Lam got back to me as soon as she could on Saturday, made sure I was not in amy pain and was able to get in first thing Monday morning. As someone who never leaves reviews, Id be doing a disservice to my local community if I didn't recommend Zach as an amazing PT physician.
I'll keep it short and just say that I was convinced surgery was the only way to reduce the pain caused from a degenerated lumber disc.
After a couple of months with Zach, building up strength is specific areas, I was finally able to carry my toddler, play outside with him, and live without constant pain. When did the pain start again? During the times I couldn't make my appointments.
5 stars, If I wasn't moving, I wouldn't stop seeing Zach.👊

I had a great chance to visit Dr. Nelson's office while I traveled to Seattle. The front desk person, Eva is pretty informative, warm, and helpful. Dr. Nelson is also very gentle and caring about his patience. My ankle was sprained and in pain for about 1.5 months. After intensively seeing him for 3 times a week, my ankle is much better than before. I highly recommend anyone has ankle problem to see him in Redmond, WA.

I’ve had an amazing experience at Structural Chiropractic. The staff is always kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. I joined Discover Yoga during my first trimester after my doctor recommended prenatal yoga, and I'm so glad I did. I've been attending Kristen Stevens's weekly class every Saturday morning at 11 AM (they also offer a virtual option, which is great for flexibility).
Kristen structures her classes really well, focusing on mobility and core strength, which has made a huge difference for me. She takes the time to explain the benefits of each asana in detail, and she always brings such a positive, calming energy to the room.
Initially, I struggled to find my balance, but after sticking with it week after week, I've gradually built up endurance and strength. More than anything, this class has given me confidence in my body and in my ability to get through this pregnancy.

Mid 40's and more fit than I've been in my life -- strength, body tone, and flexibility -- thanks to Knotty Yoga. I have great results attending only 2 or 3 hour-long classes each week, and have gained new physical skills that I never thought I could, e.g. rope climbing, acro, stretching, fabric, etc. Mason's a great instructor, thoroughly trained in fitness and massage, adapts classes and guidance to everyone's individual capabilities, and makes them fun and social. Classes are fast paced, varied, and strenuous, but not intensely tough or competitive. You'll get to know other regular attendees (aged 20s thru 50s), and have fun encouraging each other as you swiftly improve.
Aham yoga is definitely the best place I have practiced yoga in. All the instructors are very friendly and give you personal attention to your needs. I have personally taken most classes with Aru and she is excellent. Also I love the community here!
Aham might be one of the very few places in WA that focus on mind + body yoga, whereas I have seen other places where yoga is treated like a workout. Highly recommend for anyone looking to get into yoga practice.

I have been going to this foot spa for almost a year and it is consistently a great experience! Booking is super easy online and you can almost always get a same day appt. They are open late too, latest appt is 7 PM or sometimes 7:30 PM. The one hour foot massage is only $50 in a community room, you keep your clothes on but make sure to wear lose clothing because the first 20 mins while your feet soak in extra warm/hot water, the expert massage therapist gives you a wonderful head/scalp massage, then works on your arms and shoulders and neck. Next is 25-30 mins on your feet and unlike other foot spas, their technique is a mix of Swedish and classic Chinese foot massage, so they can be gentle on the points if (like me) you are a pressure wuss living in a trauma inflamed body. Last they work on your legs, gently apply pressure to open your hips then you roll over and they work on your back and glutes and ending with your neck and shoulders. Definitely worth the $50 since most massage chains charge $100+ for an hour ! I have brought my 9 yr old son and even w/ his severe ADHD, he finds the gentle but firm pressure very relaxing! If you want gentle but firm, Amy is the best and my absolute favorite! If you want someone that will beat you up a little to give you ultimate release, Kathy is amazing. My son is a big fan of Leo, who I see is regularly working on kids and adults. If you want a more traditional Chinese foot spa experience, where they really dig into the points, they will do this if you ask but I do like the mixed technique as opposed to what I used to get at the shops in the Seattle ID. The room always feels and looks clean, you can add for extra fee Epsom salts to soak or CBD oil to the massage to enhance the experience. And they make it super easy to add or remove people from your account, so every school year I add my son's school teacher, so they can have a wonderful hour of rejuvenation. I am feeling more relaxed just thinking about this ! Time for me to book haha

Like several others here and much of her clientele, I have Ehlers Danlos and am a hot mess of complications from subluxations, dislocations, degenerative disc disease, and every other fun thing that comes with a body that won't hold itself together. Desiree is my 6th PT and the first to truly understand my body and my needs. She works miracles. And she does it gently, with supreme knowledge and professionalism and kindness. I am so glad I finally found her.
