Update: Dr. Carratt just performed an implant on me that was complicated by an adjoining bridge connected another implant. I still can't believe how relatively painless and well executed she made this entire procedure! The office staff and dental assistants have also been very competent and pleasant and I highly recommend them as well, and of course Dr. Widner who has been treating me for many years.
Amazing people, especially Mindy, Master Park, and all the young teachers who work there! Very caring towards the students and thoughtful about attending to individual needs while managing groups of students that contain multiple different grades and sizes!
I especially appreciate their focus on behavior and social-emotional development. I feel like my boys have become more responsible and cooperative since joining the program.
I also like the relatively rapid pace of advancement. I initially felt judgey about the kids earning stripes and belts so quickly, but that pace of reward has actually kept them highly motivated. And, now with the advantage of hindsight, I think the belt changes have reflected their advancements in skill and technique.

Buddha Builders was exceptional! We hired Colby and his crew to help transform our large, sloping lawn into a beautiful patio, perfect for entertaining or relaxing. Like many properties in North Bend, they had to solve the problem of how to turn uneven terrain into functional spaces, which they did by building a couple of retaining walls. These thoughtful additions cleverly tie together elements of the landscape and an existing shed. The crew was punctual, kept the site tidy, and was easy to work with when making small adjustments. The finished hardscaping blends seamlessly into the other aspects of the yard, and the vision created by Buddha Builders really helped to transform our yard into a gorgeous living space. We highly recommend them, and would hire Buddha Builders again. (The photos show some before and after pictures of our amazing yard transformation. Couldn't be happier! Thanks!)

Demian did a large tree removal including the removing and replacement of a fence...his company was not only the best price, but on time with job completed as bid and excellent clean up...right down to replacing the chain link fence! These guys did an awesome job! They have a well trained team that works closely together to get the job done on time and on budget. They also did a number of other repairs on the interior and exterior ( removed dry rot, repair drywall, etc.) before they could even start the painting. I would highly recommend them!
We hired Andy's Tree Service to remove a dying hemlock, cut large branches from a walnut tree that were growing toward and touching our house, and pruning a bunch of overgrown trees in our backyard. Andy's team did a phenomenal job at a reasonable price. Our yard is more open and we have more natural light coming into the house.
A couple of other tree services we contacted (before we found Andy's) did not communicate well or failed to show up altogether, so I was pleasantly surprised by Andy's good communication and follow-through, especially since we had to coordinate with our neighbor to use their driveway.
Andy's crew did a great job of cleaning and clearing away everything as well. If you are looking for a good, reliable and professional tree company, I highly recommend Andy's Tree Service.
My daughter attended the Glass House Informal performance to watch friends perform and was so impressed with what she saw. She asked to sign up for a Jr. Hip Hop class right away and is loving it. The front desk is so helpful and the instructors teach unique and fun choreography.

These guys do a really good job. Second time using this company and I highly recommend them. The owner "Chris Price" is very knowledgeable and operates with integrity. Me and my neighbor Travis are happy our new cars not staying under these very tall trees no more and getting tree sap as well as the driveway will not require as much cleaning.

Anna, Maddey, and Jean, have been wonderful to work with. The details of care are out of this world. My bengal cats are comfortable, settle in quick, and are frequent patrons of the inn. This is a kitty spa for sure. The basics of water, food, litter changes and playtime out of their oversized floor to ceiling kennels, is truly a treat for sure. Thank you for placing our human mind at ease while we take a break and vacationing to many places, and provide the bengals a change in pace and new sniffs and enjoyment. Kitty luxury worth the drive even if the cats are yowling in the car. You make these yahoos happy.
This is the best salon experience I have had so far. Effie is simply the best and she is the only one I trust my hair with. Even though I moved to the city, I continue to go to Sammamish for my hair color appointments with Effie. The salon is clean, chic and modern. Effie always goes the extra mile to ensure you are comfortable. I have had partial balayage, haircut and also hair color multiple times and I always loved my hair after each visit. Highly recommend!

I found Kelli in my search for a hair + makeup artist for my wedding in June of 2025. She was listed as a recommended vendor on the website of my wedding venue (Congregational Church of Mercer Island), so I reached out to her. I know very little about makeup, and the extent of my normal hair styles is a claw clip or a bun. Kelli made me feel super comfortable in our first session, and as a fellow curly hair gal, gave me confidence that she'd know how to handle my hair.
I did a trial run with her, where she accommodated my request for an updo with a hair piece and a minimal, natural look for makeup. She did an awesome job, but after some personal reflection, I'd decided I wanted it slightly different. So in a cut 3 weeks before the wedding, I called the audible and she was more than eager to take it on.
The day before, she had me in to get ready for my rehearsal dinner (which also turned out great). Then the next day, she showed up bright and early at the venue to not only help me, but also do a combination of hair and makeup for some of the other gals in the bridal party.
I was absolutely thrilled at how it turned out. I'd asked Kelli to incorporate my natural curls, which undoubtedly took more time to manage, but my hair stayed in place the whole night (even after tearing it up on the dance floor). And the makeup was exactly what I was looking for—my husband wanted to still be able to see my freckles, but I also didn't want to look washed out and oily in the photos, and I think Kelli hit the mark there. And needless to say, all my girls were absolutely gorgeous as well. Kelli knocked it out of the park!

Their wash and press is very good, too. The prices are below the cost that I was paying at my previous dry cleaner.

She asks you about your wishes and plans but also tells you with expertise if something is going to be better for your hair type or plan. No matter how many questions come up she patiently explains everything into detail. She does a very good job giving head maddages, making time passs due to being an amazing listener and engaging in conversations. The best comes last and that’s her blow outs ! She’s really a pro at what she’s doing.

I went on Mother's Day and got a Mani/Pedi. The ladies were super sweet and did a great job. The pedicure was just under an hour, and they spent a good amount of time on the massage portion. The gel paint job on my nails looks excellent ?
Great haircut selection with knowledgeable hair stylists. Sometimes I do have a desire to do something otherworldly with my hair, but my hair stylist reminds me that I look the best with the style that is personally selected for my hair structure. Hair style experiment is always a balancing act.
