I have been spent countless times tanning in a tanning bed prior to vacation. This time I decided to get a spray tan with Shanna and I am so incredibly impressed. The tan looks incredible, it was not sticky, and the environment was so comfortable. There is no doubt in my mind that I will go this route again in the future.

I have been going to rose nails since January and have had nothing but excellent experiences. The first time I went, I misheard my name and was set up with Tia (I was scheduled with someone else originally) but they accommodated me anyways and I ended up sticking with her from then on. She’s always so sweet and I always look forward to seeing her every month. She puts 100% into her work and it definitely shows every time. I’m unfortunately moving away but always recommend this salon (and Tia specifically) when coworkers ask about my nails. I’m sad to be leaving but am thankful for such great experiences here!
I have been in a half dozen times or so and seen a few different people but Katie is my regular nail person now. Every time I see her my nails always turn out better than I hope for and she always comes up with beautiful designs to put on them. She's also very friendly and nice to chat with, even when I came in for my second appointment with her she remembered me right away and started asking about my family and other things we had previously talked about and without me even having to ask she trimmed my nails because she remembered that I prefer them pretty short. The entire staff is warm and welcoming and I have even seen several men come in for manicures and pedicures, which I absolutely think more men should do for themselves. But what I really liked was when a couple very colorful gentlemen asked for very elaborate and blinged out full sets they weren't treated any differently than any other customer. I had my lower left leg amputated in July of 2023 and I have been too embarrassed to get a pedicure since but if I ever get up the nerve I will definitely be getting it done here.

Toni is amazing!! Before I moved to Sioux Falls, my hair was damaged and dull. I went from hair stylist to hair stylist because I was never impressed with their work. Then, when I moved to Sioux Falls, a coworker suggested Toni at Etch. I can honestly say that if I ever leave S.D., I will come back to get my hair done by Toni. I've received non-stop compliments the last 2 times she colored/toned my hair. (Before that we were just doing cuts/highlights.) I've never disliked anything she's done to my hair, which is big coming from a girl who usually leaves hair salons a little traumatized. She brought my hair back from the dead and made it beautiful again.
Ashley is amazing! Our 2 year old has had some very fearful experiences with other hair cuts. I wont say that there wasnt some tears involved. But Ashley was extremely patient, kind, understanding, and professional. By the end of the haircut ashley was even able to use the buzzer! I’ve always hated going to get my nails done. I hated the whole experience in general because of how awkward it was and how rough nail techs had been on my nails in the past. I’ve had a really bad skin picking issue since I was really young and I’ve always felt ashamed to go into a salon because of how embarrassed I was to show people my fingers. That being said, I’ve never felt comfortable getting my nails done even though having nails on was the only way I could stop picking at my fingers. Salons in the past made me feel ashamed and were super aggressive with my nails. I’ve been going to TLC since March and I can’t stop myself from coming back. I am by no means a person who regularly gets their nails done or “pampers” themselves, but since I found these lovely ladies I can’t help myself but get my nails done every two weeks. I have had incredible experiences with Chen, Julie, and Jade. These are some of my favorite nails I’ve gotten done for my engagement. I’ve always been treated like a long time friend whenever I enter the salon and they treat everyone with respect and hospitality. I’ve never had a bad experience and I couldn’t imagine ever having one. Thank you ladies for giving me a different perspective of getting my nails done. This will always be my go to nail salon.?

I love that she cares enough to have clients come to a consult beforehand. Even though I live in Yankton, it is worth the drive. I also appreciate that she will be brutally honest and is a no BS person about design, placement, etc. She does this every day and her expertise is definitely appreciated.

I went and got my first tattoo there and I had Paulie as my tattoo artist, he did such an AMAZING job, he has great communication, great service, great work and he was very kind and helpful and I had an awesome experience there. The pricing was very very reasonable and not too much or too little, it was perfect! I am so glad I went to him for my tattoo, my parent also got a tattoo from Paulie aswell and it was perfect, loves it so much! The shop is very clean, well organized, very welcoming, I loved the vibe and the decor. I heavily recommend this place!!

I was very impressed with how knowledgeable, honest and upfront he was when he provided options and went over the pros and cons. Other companies I've called wanted to charge me $50 just to give a quote. If you need work done at your home I recommend you call Tom at Midwest Mechanical.

Had water in our basement the evening before and tried submitting a claim to our home warranty company. When they weren’t able to find anyone for our ticket after a day and half without being able to use water in the house, we called Around the Clock Drain Masters and when quoted the price we asked them to come out and we’d cancel the warranty ticket. We called around 7:30 in the evening and said they would be there within half an hour. Service was efficient and timely and he was very friendly and easy going. We were super grateful for the speedy service time given the late hour and need for plumbing help! We would highly recommend and will definitely call for future needs!

We had a leak under the kitchen sink in an 130 year old house, so that can be scary ( can of worms feelings ) he explained to me how leak can occur over time with the type of material (copper) they used a hundred years ago. That it can become problematic over time, which is understandable, nothing lasts forever. But he was honest, gave me sound advice and fixed it fast and efficiently. He also upgraded some plumbing material that had been installed by someone else that was not up to code. He was pleasant and fun to have around for the afternoon. It looked so good when he was done and his fix opened up more storage space under the sink for supplies. The bill came and it was way, way less than anticipated. Thank you guys so much, now I always know who to call for plumbing problems in this old house! I’m impressed!

We recently moved to Canton South Dakota and needed help with a different plug-in for our dryer. Being new to the area, it was a bit of a challenge finding someone who services Canton, but we hit the jackpot when we called Air Serv and they said absolutely they could help us out. We had great communication from our technician Cameron Carney as he not only helped us out with the plug-in that we needed, but looked at some of the other items in our home and garage that we had questions on. He also went over the maintenance plans which is something we will seriously consider once the dust settles on our new home purchase. They do heating and air conditioning, they do electric, and Mr Rooter Plumbing services. The maintenance program really looks beneficial and has three different price plans. If you need any assistance in any of these areas I totally recommend Air Serv., Mr. Electric and Mr. Rooter!

I recently purchased Karastan carpet from Carpet One in Sioux Falls, taking advantage of a great sale. The sales process was smooth, thanks to Jill, who helped me select the perfect carpet. However, the special order took over four weeks longer than expected due to manufacturing delays. Communication about the delay could have been better, especially since I had scheduled painting and furniture moving around the installation date. Fortunately, I stayed on top of the status, and we were able to adjust the schedule accordingly. Despite the delay, the installation team did an excellent job, and the carpet looks great. Lee Gertsen is the dentist I, my daughter and wife use primarily. We have also seen Kim Suga and Brienne Grossman and they are great also! We have all been happy and never had a single issue! In fact, everyone at the office goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed while at their office. Their prices are fair and they work with insurance regarding any and all coverages and procedures. Of course, the hygienists are also a critical part of any dental visit, and we have always had courteous, caring and careful hygienists every time we have visited. Dr. Paul is attentive and thorough about listening to your descriptions of where you pain is, as well as careful about his examination before he ever starts to adjust anything. For me, his adjustments are exact and very successful. More than that though, he has never tried to string me along for unnecessary appointments.

I have an 8 month old Newfie service dog in training. I selected this vet because of the docs with their specialties in both heart and joint care which all giant breeds are susceptible. She can't be spayed until she is 2 either, and by that point she will probably be 150+. (She's big for a female; already 95# and 28" tall) They seem to have all the technical know how and equipment to meet the needs for a giant breed if something goes sideways. I just took her in for heart worm testing, heart worm & flee and tick meds. I was very happy with how they treated her and answered all my questions.
Wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Excellent care for my 4 fur babies.

This facility and it's staff are WONDERFUL!I had been through an awful experience buying 4 more chickens to add to my 6 chicken flock. Thursday, 6/28/22, 60 hours after I brought them home, the new girls turned up extremely, sick extremely quickly. The seller treated me terribly when I called to inform him, and ask what he would do. It was late in the day, about 4:30pm, and I called every vet and SD agency I could think of or was recommended to for help, but to very little progress.By Friday morning, I was nearly ready to give up when Amber, Dr. Evan, Joe, and the Sioux Nation Ag Center team got involved. They did a TON of the footwork, and took away what had been a horrible, frustrating situation. They cleared the way for answers to help me, provided me relief and peace of mind, and have had EXCELLENT follow through. Amber especially has the BEST customer care skills and is SO SMART and CAPABLE!! Dr. Evan was compassionate and even took the call on his way to board a plane! Joe was available to me at a moment's request, and was supportive of myself and his team.These folks are what's right with the world. They are the SD I remember as a kid. I feel incredibly grateful for them, and confident in recommending them for your backyard poultry (and other Ag) needs!

When I picked them up, I was amazed to hear Stephanie was able to file his nails!! Dogs both got fully groomed—ears, nails, glands, (special probiotic shampoo for my boy with allergies). Super fair pricing. She went above and beyond for both dogs—and they weren’t traumatized! ? I’ll be a return customer!

I wish I could give Precious Pets Salon & Doggie Daycare 10 stars. We dropped our two black labs off with them yesterday for the first time. Although they've been boarded many times when we've gone on vacations, this is the first time we've used a daycare service. Trevor was exception and very knowledgeable and helpful. Right away, I was very comfortable leaving my pups in his care. When we picked them up, the didn't want to leave the facility! Once in the car, our female kept looking at the door and moving her ears all around as if trying to find/hear her new friends. As we pulled away, she ran to the car windows to keep an eye on the doors, as we pulled away, she kept wagging her tail and whining. It was clear our dogs had an absolute blast. It was as if we were dragging them away from Disney World. Our older dog was worn out, but equally as happy, he was just lying down in the backseat smiling. We live in MN, but we're visiting and caring for an ill family member in SD. Precious Pet is now our go-to when we are too busy caring for our loved one and can't devote time to exercise our dogs.
