Always a good experience with Dr. Peterson at Prairie Creek Pet Hospital. Our cat Sophie has been going here for a couple years now. Sophie is old and a little cranky but Dr. Peterson and the vet techs are always kind and gentle with her. Dr. Peterson is great at tracking Sophie’s health then offering helpful treatment plans to keep Sophie active. Prices are reasonable and the office staff are friendly. I have recommended Prairie Creek to friends and family who also have cats.
I have been going to this vet clinic for years, but after what happened this past July, I feel like I need to share how amazing they are.
I unexpectedly lost my soul cat in July at only 4 years old, and I’m still absolutelt devastated. She passed away overnight at the clinic, and I will forever be grateful for the way the entire staff handled such a heartbreaking situation. They went above and beyond to make an incredibly painful experience as compassionate and gentle as possible. They still allowed me to come in and say goodbye to my girl before she was cremated, and that is something I will never stop appreciating. When having to put my 13 year old dog to sleep due to unfortunate circumstances and being new to the area. The staff and Vets were so supportive and friendly with both me and my old girl. They showed her nothing but love and kindness. I will be going back to them with all of the new additions to our family 🥰
