I’ve gone here for two consecutive years now and every experience at Astoria Park Eyecare has been excellent! Dr. Shetty has a deep knowledge and enthusiasm about what he does. It’s pretty cool not only feeling taken care of by an incredibly talented doctor, but also learning something interesting about the eye every time I’m there. Dr. Shetty has only the most current/top-of-the-line machines in his office, making the evaluation extremely accurate and painless. His bedside manner is super chill and upbeat. The office staff is very professional and efficient - very short wait times for anything. HUGE shout-out to David, the optician - he helped me realize I’ve probably never had glasses (in my whole life!) that were a good match for my face. He explained to me face types, carefully took facial measurements and selected the best glasses-types for my specific face. I’ve never had anyone in my life take this level of care with selecting glasses frames. I landed on the most handsome pair of glasses I’ve ever owned and they were much less expensive than I’m used to spending. The glasses look so good on me! I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience and am telling all of my neighbors and friends in the area they have to go to Astoria Park Eyecare!

It was my first time trying this place out and I got the exact haircut I wanted and needed. Elizabeth took good care of me, was very attentive with exactly how much I wanted to cut off. I have been wearing a hairpiece for over 30 years and went to NM for a consultation. I was very impressed with the quality of the units, and Naomi even cut in my old hairpiece during my consultation. This gave me the confidence she is a great haircutter, and when my old contract is up elsewhere, I am switching in NM.

I got my new hair and I am thrilled. All of the problems I had with my old hair place were FIXED! My old hair looked like a hairpiece, the hair was straight and flat and not cut in well, the color match was too ash, and it did not blend on the sides. In the wind the hair would blow up and stay up. In the morning my hair was a mess.
Naomi layered my hair, added grey in the perfect proportions. Since the hair is layered, it is shorter but looks fuller. The hair blends perfectly on the sides, and I no longer have to worry about the wind. I had to go every 3 weeks, and now I go every 4 weeks (and could go longer). I told Naomi that when I wake up in the morning my hair is perfect except in the back, and she solved that problem by suggesting I get a satin pillow. I quick comb in the morning and I am all set. Would give more stars if possible.

I go to Arsen (aka Alex) every week to get my head shaved with a razor, and no one does it better. It may look easy, but previous stylists I've always missed something. Arsen is meticulous, and I always leave his shop happy. He's not just for baldies either. While waiting for my turn in his shop, I've seen him do some very stylish haircuts. I recommend him highly. Pro Tip: call for an appointment. He gets very busy.

She uses a formula that she buys directly from Brazil. Her formula leaves my hair so soft and smooth, and this keratin lasts longer than other treatments I’ve had before. Ray is super thorough, patient, and doesn’t rush the process. She takes time to pay attention to my roots especially. I appreciate her so much. Stefi studio has become my new go to for gel manicures..super affordable and comes out great! Also really appreciate Jola and her team. They are so sweet and nice. When I first visited the music was a little too loud for my liking (loud music tends to be too overstimulating for my anxiety) and Jola kept note of that the next time I came… it was very heartwarming and I appreciated it greatly! Julie did a phenomenal job!! Exactly how I like it (dark brows-hybrid tint) but she asks for your liking and will do what you prefer. I usually only use tweezer but I knew instantly I could trust her, so we went with wax! I’m glad I trusted her skillful hands and touch. Safe to say… I’ve officially found my new spot!! ?

I was very nervous as I hear ribs can be a pretty painful spot. Caroline set me at ease. She was very friendly and answered my random questions because I’m always curious about different things. I really had a nice experience with her and would absolutely recommend to anybody else. I just gave her information to a friend who is looking to have her first tattoo. First, the shop is amazing. If you’re a Mets fan, the first thing you’ll notice are the old seats from Shea outside, then you get inside and it’s a dream. Got two Mets flash pieces from Pon, he was super fast and efficient, made me feel right at home at the shop, felt like I was just going to see a friend and chat about the Mets and New York stuff, before I knew it I had two new pieces! Highly recommend, the other artists at the shop have great work as well. Will definitely be returning for more ink!

A good no nonsense place to get a body massage with the end results making you feel better when it's over . My cuz comes here and recommended I give it a try for my back and shoulders which after a long week at the office tend to hurt a bit . The massage lady who didn't talk much went to work and her hands were like vise grips but in a helpful way if that makes any sense. She works in a particular method that covers every section of my back , shoulders , neck , etc, and it works as I feel the stiffness and tension disappear..The rooms are small but beds are very clean and comfortable with the dim lighting and ambient music making it a peaceful calm experience. Well worth the 80 bucks and no minute is wasted during the session . I will be back in a couple of months for more pampering and soothing .4.5 stars on my yelp meter.
