Went in to try to schedule a haircut for my daughter, and they weren't busy, so Maura cut her hair right then. It was her first haircut, and she loved every minute of the experience and loves her new look so much. She keeps asking how long until her hair grows enough to get it cut again!

Extra Glossy Salon provides an exceptional salon experience. Vanessa and her mom are both incredibly knowledgeable about hair. The best part is Vanessa makes you feel very comfortable- it's like getting your hair done by your BFF but she actually knows what she's doing! I have been a repeat customer and I plan on returning. I really think the price is fair too for the quality of work and ambiance in the salon.

What a great experience! I appreciate that they accommodated me at the last minute on a weekend. Maura was warm and engaging but still professional and focused on the job. So glad to have this place a few blocks from my apartment. I have to say I've been to a handful of local salons since I moved to Queens in 2008 and I have generally had good experiences, but this was the first place where I can say that I was able to get exactly what I want done to my hair. Now I know that sounds very diva-ish, let me explain. I have super thin, fine wavy hair, and it only works with a handful of short styles.
