“Solid threading spot located in upper Astoria. I feel like I'm cheating on my go-to threading lady whenever I come here, but she's closer to where my older apartment was and sometimes I just can't make the hike. This place is a good option for me in a pinch. The price is fair, and they do a good job, but they don't trim the tops of my eyebrows or brush them out the way my go-to spot does. It's a small salon with just two chairs, so you may need to wait if they're busy. Something worth noting about the salons up here (this one and Bry's nails around the corner), they do lock their doors even when they're open for safety purposes. It sucks that female-owned businesses up here have to do that, but with William H Bryant across the street there are just a swarm of bored teenagers with nothing better to do than be obnoxious to these ladies, unfortunately. All that said, I've never felt unsafe here. Just something to be aware of if you're stopping in and aren't a regular.“
