On May 12, I had my trial hair and makeup for my upcoming October 2026 wedding, and my experience with Sharlene and her staff was wonderful. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. Everyone was professional, kind, and very comforting throughout the appointment.
My hair and makeup came out beautiful, and I was very happy with the overall look. I truly appreciated the care and attention they gave me, and I’m looking forward to working with them again on my wedding day!💕

I had an absolutely wonderful “full glam” makeup experience at the “Glam is Beauty Salon.” I decided to get my makeup done for my birthday and wanted to stay local as I was short on time. Someone in the Astoria FB group had recommended this salon in a post and so I gave it a try. I am beyond happy that I did, because I loved my look and since they are local, I will be able to use their services more frequently. I provided three photos of the style of makeup I wanted to achieve and I received exactly what I asked for. Everyone was very kind, attentive, and overall the place had a fun and positive vibe.
