Went in last minute on a Sunday morning and they saw me right away. I just needed my short curly hair washed and straightened. I was in and out in about 15 minutes.
The woman who attended me was a bit aggressive with the washing and brushing, but my hair came out with volume and fairly soft.
I think it was rushed because she had appointments set up (and I was a last minute walk in), but the job got done and I’m happy with the results.

Alex and team had done an excellent job of renovating my bathroom and tile works in the kitchen. The team is very conscientious in thoroughly covering the apartment furniture and walls; the entire project was well organized with Daniella/Kyra coordinating and scheduling ahead of each step; Alex/team perfected the tile vein matching which flows beautifully; the layout was well thought-through before we moved into final installation.
Some of my colleagues asked for Alex's contact for their jobs after seeing some footage of the renovation.

I did my keratin at hair pro charming for 1st with my friend recommendation and I am not going to lie they did very well. I m writing this review after 3days n washed my hair and my hair is silk and smooth. Lucy is the one who did my hair and she is so calm, kind and gentle. Izzy is fantastic! She was able to add an appointment for us same day, and she was super patient with my squirmy 3 year old. I was worried about the setting since we had previously only gone to specifically kids' hair places that have toys and cartoon car seats but apparently 3 is old enough to graduate to just a booster seat in a barbershop with a tablet! Very glad, since the new KiddyKutz location in Astoria is incredibly tight with everyone on top of each other, even though they're super strict about appointments?? Regardless, glad we are back to having a solid option in Sunnyside! Thank you Izzy!

Honestly, all I have is really good reviews for this place. We went there for the first time today and I could honestly say I am completely happy with the way Dom cut my son‘s hair. You know he made him feel different. You know my son struggles with the way his hair is and honestly like I give him a 10 out of 10 it’s worth the ride over there to Queens and it’s worth the money. .
I was recommended by one of Freddy’s loyal clients and babyyy, I had to see what the hype was about. When I walked in, it’s a barber shop atmosphere and they were servicing all men and I was like “oh???” — but listen… trust the process! I showed him my inspo pic and he got straight to work with confidence.
Freddy is so kind, friendly, and actually communicates with you about what he’s doing. That alone made me feel comfortable. But let’s talk about the RESULTS ?? I wanted curls and he absolutely ate the styling up. The curls were giving, the volume was there, and I left feeling like THAT girl.
And the fact that he also does makeup?? Yeah, he’s a whole glam experience. If you have a night out, birthday, date, whatever — book him in advance! Period.
