I've been to classes primarily for prenatal yoga and post-partum with a baby in tow, and the classes are always a great experience with knowledgeable teachers. I also really value the studio's commitment to diversity and accessibility.“

3506 Georgia Ave NW, Washington“I love this studio, from the black industrial ceiling and black floor to the fabulous instructors. It has a friendly and cool vibe with classes and times that allow me the flexibility I need to fit my schedule and needs. The 2 studios allow simultaneous classes and give a variety for hot yoga, candlelit yoga to run while others are doing a power class. For some reason, having the pot plants suspended from the ceiling enhances my practice, as does the welcoming and accepting community.“

928 5th St NW, Washington“Bhakti Yoga DC is a truly special community, and Gopi’s unique teaching style makes every class both inspiring and deeply grounding. She creates an authentic space for spiritual connection while making the teachings accessible and meaningful. Her flow and connection between movements is really unique and natural, really changed my practice 12 years ago.
I also had the opportunity to join one of her retreats in Portugal, which was an unforgettable experience. Beyond the beautiful setting, it was the meaningful connections made with others that made it so special. If you’re looking for a yoga community that nurtures both personal growth and genuine connection, I highly recommend Bhakti Yoga DC.“

The studio is gorgeous complete with everything you need from mats to towels, showers and even a fridge stocked with yummy drinks! The class was fun and challenging while versatile for all levels. 6AM - 10PM
1510 Okie St NE, Washington“I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to keep up, and being new to the studio, I wasn't too sure of what was needed coming in. Kendra was at the front desk and accessible to instruct me on what to bring into the space. Her instruction during the class was great. There were options for modification, but her energy in the room made me want to push through when it became challenging. The room was filled with what seemed like regulars (of all shapes and sizes) who were committed and ready, and that added to the experience.
The studio was equipped and clean. I was able to shower after my second class and felt comfortable doing so. I highly recommend Kendra, her class, and studio.“

This is a safe space to release all your emotions when needed.“

1101 S Joyce St Ste. B14, Arlington“I’ve been to quite a few Club Pilates locations across the U.S., as well as a variety of other studios, and I can confidently say this is hands down the best one I’ve ever experienced. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they truly care about the experience. The music and lighting are noticeably better than anywhere else—and that might sound small, but it makes a huge difference in how the class feels. It’s such a vibe. You actually look forward to being there. They also go above and beyond in creating a sense of community. They’re always doing fun, thoughtful things that make the studio feel “cute” in the best way and genuinely like a joyful part of your routine—not just another workout. The workouts themselves are excellent. Unlike some studios that lean too far one way or the other, this location strikes the perfect balance between getting a real, effective workout while still staying true to traditional Pilates. There’s a strong emphasis on form, and the instructors are clearly focused on helping you learn, improve, and actually do things correctly—not just rush through movements. The instructors are incredible. Most of them are truly the best I’ve ever had, and even the rest are still better than instructors at any other studio I’ve been to. That consistency is rare. The studio is always spotless, and the community is diverse and welcoming, which adds so much to the overall experience. If you’re considering Club Pilates—this is the one.“
5AM - 11PM
8616 Cameron St, Silver Spring“Since I'm a lap swimmer, I like that this LA Fitness has a pool. Lanes only. They have aqua fitness classes on the schedule, but I haven't taken one yet. I wish LA Fitness had kick boards to borrow, but we can't have everything.? Nice dry sauna in the locker room and jacuzzi near the pool.“
“This yoga studio is absolutely amazing. The teachers are incredible. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and do a great job of helping each student feel both seen and pushed to find our best selves for that day. I have had several different teachers and have been impressed by all of them. If you are on the fence, come on over to Yoga District- it truly is a wonderful place to practice yoga.“
