About Yoga District
Yoga District is a welcoming studio that offers a variety of classes in two light-filled practice rooms. Located next to a Trader Joe’s in a vibrant neighborhood, it serves as a peaceful escape from the bustling surroundings. The studio provides outdoor classes at nearby Meridian Hill Park and has multiple locations in DC, along with over 20 live stream classes daily. While some reviews mention the location is a bit small and dated, with creaky floors and higher session prices, many appreciate the welcoming environment and the option to rent mats for $2. Longtime practitioners credit the instructors with transforming their lives, emphasizing the deep connections made through yoga. Overall, Yoga District is a place for anyone seeking to improve their mind and body, welcoming all levels of practitioners.
I'm so grateful for the Yoga District community! This is a gem of a studio in the Washington D.C. area. Grounding, homey space with wood floors and brick walls. A variety of classes spanning power, hatha, ashtanga and yin flows led by friendly and experienced teachers. Mats are available for rent at an accessible price, especially helpful for someone like me who commutes by foot and doesn’t have a car. Love all around.
Had a great yoga practive with Noah C. The studio is imitate, and it feels like a small community shop instead of a big corporate studio, which is a big win for me! Highly recommend.
This place is truly special. From the first moment I walked into the 14th street studio, I was made to feel welcomed. After two years of practice here, my community at yoga district truly feels like family.
What makes Yoga District so unique to me is not only the welcoming community they have created and sustained but also their efforts to make yoga accessible to the broader DC community. I couldn't think more highly of or recommend more wholeheartedly this studio & its mission.
