Phyllis is amazing! She has been a hair stylist for many years and its obvious when she touches your hair. After my first bout with COVID-19 my hair turned a brassy color and began to fall out. I met Phyllis through a relative and she worked her magic and made my hair healthy again. Although my hair never returned to the fullness the transition for me was amazing! Phyllis is very popular so you would definitely need an appointment.

I’ve been going to Wannie for over 10 years , she is the only person I would let do my hair . She is talented and an expert on weaving and lace front styling, amongst other styles she can do . When you go to her you know she is going to take her time and put 100% into your hair . She’s extremely professional and always makes sure you are satisfied before you leave her chair . Not only that she also sales hair , which is super convenient . I would recommend her to anyone who looking for a good stylist in the DMV!

MMV and the owner, Manuel Villalta, were excellent in all respects. He and crew performed a wide variety of services to help our property become spectacular after we just moved into our home. He was very responsive to our needs and addressing unexpected landscape challenges, especially in replacing a deteriorating retaining wall. His crew was excellent in fulfilling our requests and additions and modifications. They were friendly, prompt and thorough. Besides replacing the retaining wall, they added a fence, overhauled the gardens, rebuilt hardscape that had deteriorated. The fees and payment schedule were fair and flexible. We highly recommend them and already have more for them to do this spring!

Bruno did an excellent job cutting my son hair. He has a weird hairline that barbers in the past have either messed up or pushed him back too far.
Ohh they're very nice. I took my son there for his haircut, we were treated nicely. Also I love it for them because there was no smoken or any smell of smoke. The place I took my son the last time, he told me he would not go there again because people were smoking outside and everywhere were smelling. I took the number of the man who cut my son's hair and he has gained a new customer.

I was really excited when I found this place as it looks so clean on the inside and staff was friendly, but they are a little pricey. I paid $40 for a pedicure (no gel color or color at all— just plain base top coat) and did a manicure and was charged $25 for that! I was shocked. I just knew I would pay around $25 - $30 tops for the pedicure and $15 for the basic manicure (no color- no nothing). Overall experience was fine, but I definitely thought the prices don’t match for the area that they’re located in at all.

I am a first time customer and was anxious based on the reviews, but needed a new nail salon close to my home. I love natural looking nails, and the tech did just that. I did have to wait for a while, and the set took longer than I expected but she took her time and I appreciated that. Unfortunately I forgot to ask the tech her name, but will hopefully continue being a customer.

I have been taking my wife to this location now a couple of times and the experience is always amazing. The workers are super friendly and generous and cater to not only my wife but me as well funny enough. I would definitely recommend this location especially to the husbands who sit and wait with there wife as they get there nails done because you’ll be given snacks and some drinks haha.

I purposely scheduled my appointment for 8:30 AM so I could leave no later than 1 PM. Unfortunately, I wasn’t finished until 4:40 PM....nearly eight hours later. What should have been a simple takedown, wash, and closure install turned into an all-day ordeal that completely derailed my Saturday.
Looking back, I wish I had read the lower-rated reviews before booking. It’s clear that closure installs are not this salon’s strength. The lowest rating was on that service. While I was there for the entire 8 hours, I was not offered water or food and by the time the bundles were being sewn in, the work felt rushed and lacking in care or precision. The most detail they did to the closure was wash and cut the lace a little bit. They didn't apply any color or make up so that it can match the scalp. I only asked for a little leave-out to cover the lace and weft, yet the result was one of the worst installs I’ve ever received. When they did the final reveal, I could literally see the lace lifting. it felt like a slap in the face after spending nearly eight hours there.
They offered 50% off, but it still feels like a complete waste of money and time since I now have to find another stylist to fix it. This is time I genuinely don't have because of work and graduate school. This experience left me extremely disappointed and questioning the consistency of their quality. It makes me wonder if the service provided to the Washington Commanders cheerleaders is held to a different standard than what regular clients receive. Either way, I won’t be returning. Below are pictures of the end result.
1/27/2026: I do not appreciate this response, nor do I accept the apology or the offer of a future service credit as a resolution. Given that the salon has acknowledged the appointment should not have proceeded as scheduled, a full refund would have been the appropriate and fair outcome. Especially since I ended up taking out the hair and tracks completely.
In the owner's reply, they stated that they should have rescheduled me with my stylist rather than proceeding with the appointment. That confirms the salon was aware it could not properly deliver the service I booked. In that situation, the responsible decision would have been to reschedule or decline the appointment not move forward with a service that resulted in nearly eight hours of my time being wasted and a final product that did not meet professional standards.
Unfortunately, experiences like this are a reflection of a broader issue in today’s salon industry, where service quality and customer care are becoming increasingly inconsistent. My trust in the salon has been broken and I genuinely hope this review brings visibility to what happened so future clients can make informed decisions before booking.

Went and got my hair done by Bren the other day(April '22) and I love it. My parts are perfect, the braiding is tight and even, and even my edges are secured in the braid without too much pull. l Will definitely be going back!

Wonderful experience with Horacio and his team. I moved into an old house with some creative wiring and they fixed everything - the panel, adding circuits and outlet to the kitchen, adding outlets where I needed them in my bedroom and home office, and converting every single outlet to a modern 3-prong. Nico even fixed a ceiling fan incorrectly installed by a handyman. Service was fast, pricing was fair, easy to communicate, and they were so nice to my cat and made sure she didn't escape when they came in and out of the house. I had my teeth cleaning appointment today, and it was an excellent experience. The woman at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and supportive. Samrawit, the dental hygienist, was very professional, gentle, and caring throughout the entire visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly with a beautiful smile, made sure I was comfortable, and did a thorough cleaning without causing any discomfort.

Her practice is different from most dentists in that she does everything herself: from the hygienical work to the dental work. This has the associated pros and cons: On one hand you get much much more time with the actual dentist, but on the other hand it also means her time/experience is spread out as a jack-of-all-trades.
My tooth when I was a young girl, and my cape fell off Searched several dentist to have it replaced East Dennis office I located wanted to charge me for $4000-$2000. I have to ride down the street saw her advertisement made an appointment the Next day was greeted with so much professionalism. The hospitality was great. I felt very comfortable. She gave me an examination fix my teeth accepting my Insurance And I paid A fraction of what the other dentist wanted to charge me and the work was superb. Love Yoga is a great community yoga space for the Route 1 area. I've been to classes primarily for prenatal yoga and post-partum with a baby in tow, and the classes are always a great experience with knowledgeable teachers. I also really value the studio's commitment to diversity and accessibility.

Ian is an incredible masseuse. He listens and actually focuses on your concerns as well as your preferences in pressure. He is professional and it is obvious that he is in tune with your muscular anatomy. He always seems to find the tension and “right” spots.

Very professional and accommodating staff here! Each person I've interacted with has taken the time to remember my name and ask questions about my progress. Exercises are progressive and I’ve seen improvement in just a few weeks. Many of the staff are also bilingual, which is awesome and makes the practice more inclusive.
