My air conditioner doesn't have a problem with airflow; it just wasn't blowing cold air and had a musty smell. I had called two other HVAC services previously, and both tried to scam me by claiming the motor needed replacing, so I didn't get the repair done and even filed lawsuits against those two companies. The reason I am writing this review for this specific company is that they came, identified that the refrigerant level was very low, topped it up, and charged a very reasonable price. Companies like this deserve to grow, which is why they merit a positive review.

Akeem did a great job for a very fair price! He replaced my bathroom sink faucet and fixed my toilet that wouldn’t flush, and it all took less than two hours. I’m very happy with his work and will absolutely hire him in the future for all my plumbing needs.
I couldn’t be more pleased with the workmanship and customer service! Hector and Mr. Ventura were prepared, polite and professional. They took on an emergency drywall, baseboard replacement and paint job in my bathroom and bedroom after a major flood and happily took on an additional, unexpected task. All of the work was completed to perfection and they left zero mess behind. Always on time, they locked up after they left and charge fair prices! Phyllis is amazing! She has been a hair stylist for many years and its obvious when she touches your hair. After my first bout with COVID-19 my hair turned a brassy color and began to fall out. I met Phyllis through a relative and she worked her magic and made my hair healthy again. Although my hair never returned to the fullness the transition for me was amazing! Phyllis is very popular so you would definitely need an appointment.
There is street parking avaliable and there is an adjacent parking lot. The Shop is ADA compliant; however their restroom is on the 2nd Floor.
I’ve been going to Wannie for over 10 years , she is the only person I would let do my hair . She is talented and an expert on weaving and lace front styling, amongst other styles she can do . When you go to her you know she is going to take her time and put 100% into your hair . She’s extremely professional and always makes sure you are satisfied before you leave her chair . Not only that she also sales hair , which is super convenient . I would recommend her to anyone who looking for a good stylist in the DMV!

Stacy loves natural hair.. and it shows (see photos)!! I feel like I’ve searched high and low and finally found my natural hair Fairy Godmother. She not only makes sure your hairy looks good in the end, but she makes sure the process of getting you there (the detangle, wash, condition, styling) promotes healthy hair. Unlike other salons who say they are for people with natural hair but damage your hair in the process of getting to the final result. She uses the revair for blowing your hair out if you want it for a style/trim. It’s a blow dryer that limits heat damage and manipulation/breakage. Just a testament to her commitment to your hair health.

Ohh they're very nice. I took my son there for his haircut, we were treated nicely. Also I love it for them because there was no smoken or any smell of smoke. The place I took my son the last time, he told me he would not go there again because people were smoking outside and everywhere were smelling. I took the number of the man who cut my son's hair and he has gained a new customer.
Bruno did an excellent job cutting my son hair. He has a weird hairline that barbers in the past have either messed up or pushed him back too far.

I’ve been coming here since 2022. I have been seeing Maria for most of that time. She is incredibly professional and always puts the health of her clients nails first. She is very talented with designs, and will ask questions for clarity if you have inspo photos. She has even counted the number of Polk a dots in a photo to ensure my nails were as alike to my inspo as possible. On the rare occasion I don’t like the design/color during the designing/painting process I’ve let her know and she has been happy to help find a solution so I leave the salon happy. In an area with so many salons I’m so lucky to have consistent and talented nail tech like Maria.

I initially went in for a treatment and blowout but after talking seeing Sony’s beautiful head of curly hair, I just knew she would be the ideal person for me! We decided on a color and cut for reshaping. It didn’t take much convincing, because Sony’s hair looks absolutely FABULOUS! I feel like a brand new woman… bright, youthful & full of life! As a person living with Metastatic breast cancer, I rely heavily on my care team. Part of my care team is Nakia at Pink Couture Hair. In fact, I call her the wig doctor. Nakia was very professional , communicative, and she went the extra mile. I have enough to deal with as a cancer patient. Nakia listened to me and helped me. I love the wig that she made for me.

I went there yesterday for a keratin treatment, As soon as I got there I was greeted by the staff, then one of the lady preceded to start to wash my hair, it was the same lady that did my keratin treatment, she was super cool and professional when it came to answering my questions regarding my hair issues. Mind you, someone else damaged my hair a couple of months ago , the lady noticed how bad my hair was and she proceeded to recommend some treatments that I thought it was going to be super expensive, to my surprise the treatment came up to just $90 . The kit included shampoo and conditioner, and two other treatments to restore my hair.I was very please and I highly recommend this place.

I called JP Spadaro after I had a plumbing issue in my bathroom and another plumbing company said I needed to spend $800 on fully rebuilding a toilet. Brad from JP Spadoro showed up and fixed the issue within 30 minutes at a much lower cost. He was very quick and had a no BS approach unlike the other company’s plumber who was a fast talker and clearly tried to mislead me on what needed to be done. I really appreciated Brad’s work ethic and professionalism and would highly recommend him and this company to anyone that needs plumbing services in the area.

I needed a decades old crumbling outdoor BX cable replaced. During replacement, they also found and corrected signs of water dripping through main power line to home and a wire with cracked insulation that I was not aware of. These guys are fantastic.
Steve and Tracy were both incredibly helpful. We were without heat and hot water in the dead of winter for 3 days. Steve spent a long time with us getting power back on. Can’t thank them enough! Will be using them again for any electrical needs I may have.

The team for Best Landscape and Construction replaced a failed retaining wall and installed a privacy fence. The wall was built to specifications with a tremendous amount of attention to detail. The fence was installed and is level and beautifully done. I would recommend and use Best Landscape and Construction again.
MMV and the owner, Manuel Villalta, were excellent in all respects. He and crew performed a wide variety of services to help our property become spectacular after we just moved into our home. He was very responsive to our needs and addressing unexpected landscape challenges, especially in replacing a deteriorating retaining wall. His crew was excellent in fulfilling our requests and additions and modifications. They were friendly, prompt and thorough. Besides replacing the retaining wall, they added a fence, overhauled the gardens, rebuilt hardscape that had deteriorated. The fees and payment schedule were fair and flexible. We highly recommend them and already have more for them to do this spring!

I ordered a potted plant and flower arrangement via Doordash as a celebratory gift for someone and they were both BEAUTIFUL, especially the arrangement considering how fairly priced it was! On top of that, the florist included a personal note about the occasion- it was such a special touch and meant the absolute world to both of us. Florist- if you were to ever see this- thank you so much for taking the time to write that out. It's appreciated more than you know!
Takoma Tree Experts brought down an immense double-trunk oak in my backyard and, on another tree, cut off a large dead limb that was hanging over the power and telephone lines to the house. They arrived slightly early, worked through the day at a good but safe pace, cleaned up, and left the work site cleaner than it was before they arrived. Absolutely perfect!

I had my teeth cleaning appointment today, and it was an excellent experience. The woman at the front desk was kind, welcoming, and supportive. Samrawit, the dental hygienist, was very professional, gentle, and caring throughout the entire visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly with a beautiful smile, made sure I was comfortable, and did a thorough cleaning without causing any discomfort.

Her practice is different from most dentists in that she does everything herself: from the hygienical work to the dental work. This has the associated pros and cons: On one hand you get much much more time with the actual dentist, but on the other hand it also means her time/experience is spread out as a jack-of-all-trades.

I have to ride down the street saw her advertisement made an appointment the Next day was greeted with so much professionalism. The hospitality was great. I felt very comfortable. She gave me an examination fix my teeth accepting my Insurance And I paid A fraction of what the other dentist wanted to charge me and the work was superb. Love Yoga is a great community yoga space for the Route 1 area. I've been to classes primarily for prenatal yoga and post-partum with a baby in tow, and the classes are always a great experience with knowledgeable teachers. I also really value the studio's commitment to diversity and accessibility.

I had a great experience. I needed a foot massage and did not know what to expect. My technician was very amazing. Very professional and accommodating staff here! Each person I've interacted with has taken the time to remember my name and ask questions about my progress. Exercises are progressive and I’ve seen improvement in just a few weeks. Many of the staff are also bilingual, which is awesome and makes the practice more inclusive.
