They worked with me to tailor training sessions to my personal goals. Uplift takes a wholistic approach to fitness including lifestyle, nutrition, and flexibility. I had been away from structured gym workouts for over a year and am already seeing positive results after a month in muscle tone, strength, and weight loss.“

928 5th St NW, Washington“Bhakti Yoga DC is a truly special community, and Gopi’s unique teaching style makes every class both inspiring and deeply grounding. She creates an authentic space for spiritual connection while making the teachings accessible and meaningful. Her flow and connection between movements is really unique and natural, really changed my practice 12 years ago.
I also had the opportunity to join one of her retreats in Portugal, which was an unforgettable experience. Beyond the beautiful setting, it was the meaningful connections made with others that made it so special. If you’re looking for a yoga community that nurtures both personal growth and genuine connection, I highly recommend Bhakti Yoga DC.“

The quality of instruction, Frankie is outstanding, and the friendly customer service made me feel right at home. When I accidentally dropped my iPhone in the corner of the rack, everyone jumped in to help me look for it without any hesitation or attitude, which really impressed me! I’m planning to become a member of this studio and can’t wait to make some wonderful yogi friends. I highly recommend giving this place a try!“

1450 P St NW, Washington“I've tried all the studios in DC and nothing is better than Flow. The teachers are top notch, and they offer so many options each day. Plus they are not a chain like Core Power owned by some VC company and you can feel the difference. Love them!“
10AM - 5PM
1201 K St NW 2nd Floor, Washington“Got a lymphatic drainage massage and participated in a group healing and restoration session with Dani of the Eaton Wellness team and WOW.
Firstly, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and clear about what was about to happen. I damn near fell asleep on the table because I was so relaxed!
For the group activity, I’m not ashamed to say I cried and released a lot of grief and tension as Dani walked us through our right to return to stillness and rest.
10/10 would definitely recommend :)“

A variety of classes spanning power, hatha, ashtanga and yin flows led by friendly and experienced teachers. Mats are available for rent at an accessible price, especially helpful for someone like me who commutes by foot and doesn’t have a car. Love all around.“

This is the place where you can begin or even continue your journey to getting closer to your authentic self and get closer to that inner child within you. This is a safe space to release all your emotions when needed.“

2319 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington“Wonderful local studio! There are many good studios in DC, but this my favorite place to go to (but I would also recommend any of Yoga District studios in the city). Every class or teacher I've had with them has been great, from beginner to advanced. Their pricing, commitment to community and social justice is unique and inspiring. Very grateful to have this resource in our city! (FYI: There is free parking at Guy Mason if you want to check it out and aren't within walking or easy public transport distance.)“
6:30AM - 9:15PM
3905 Georgia Ave NW, Washington“I went here for about a year (first few months infrequently, then I was here every week as a volunteer) and now that I’ve moved from DC and am trying out new studios, I miss this place so much! I love the Yoga District philosophy of making yoga accessible to everyone ($14 drop in classes is very affordable!), including making yoga free for volunteers. All the teachers here are excellent and know what they’re doing and are great at giving harder poses or suggesting adjustments. Loved Jahmal’s and Nana’s classes particularly!!“
“This yoga studio is absolutely amazing. The teachers are incredible. They are knowledgeable, compassionate and do a great job of helping each student feel both seen and pushed to find our best selves for that day. I have had several different teachers and have been impressed by all of them. If you are on the fence, come on over to Yoga District- it truly is a wonderful place to practice yoga.“

“I love this studio, from the black industrial ceiling and black floor to the fabulous instructors. It has a friendly and cool vibe with classes and times that allow me the flexibility I need to fit my schedule and needs. The 2 studios allow simultaneous classes and give a variety for hot yoga, candlelit yoga to run while others are doing a power class. For some reason, having the pot plants suspended from the ceiling enhances my practice, as does the welcoming and accepting community.“
