Steve Nugents karate Institute has 2 main karate schools or called "dojos", this one in Winchester and the main one on Cambridge Street in Burlington, Mass. They structure their programs around safety and awareness, overall respect, and good basic karate self defense skills. Their instructors led by Grandmaster Nugent are super trained, even in first aid and cpr, which I thought was excellent. They are super passionate and attentive toward their student and actually are quite caring, which I have never found in my searching for quality karate schools. Definitely check them out... I am very impressed !

Not many people like giving perms to women with long hair. We saw Jessica. She is so nice. She gave my daughter's and myself a hair cut with appointments To go back for perms. The fun between Jessica and Rosina is hilarious. It makes you feel very welcome. We have definitely found our hair stylist. Highly recommend.

Joe is an awesome barber. I needed a quick touch up before my first day of work and Joe fit me in on short notice (literally 5 minutes notice). Haircut took about 25-30 minutes and Joe was incredibly detailed with his cut. It was honestly the best haircut that I have had in years. Outstanding experience for kids. Taekwondo is one piece of the puzzle. Mr Defranzo care for the kids and show them respect. Through that he teaches them values and discipline. Priceless for kids.

My son has been going to EFK since he was 4 years old (he’s 8 now). He is not only gaining physical exercise, but also emotional resilience. The senseis do not hesitate to challenge the students, which I appreciate very much. The dojo is a positive environment, where kids are challenged and encouraged. Highly recommend!
