School of Rock is an amazing place for kids and adults. The knowledge and patience from the instructors is incredible. Students learn something every single class and come out excited. The mixed lesson and band performance model is a great model. The space is amazing, and everyone always feels welcome and safe as soon as they walk in. The owners and all staff are always there and welcome students by name. Students have grown and improved in a short amount of time, building confidence and making amazing friends. Instructors bring it and motivate students. They are patient, creative, and do an amazing job highlighting strengths while bringing a little challenge. The energy as soon as someone walks in is truly special; the care for and commitment to the students is unparalleled. Every person there is warm and genuinely excited about making their students shine. The program has literally changed lives, with students who never held a drum stick before now drumming every single day. Highly recommend School of Rock to anyone searching for a place to thrive musically and connect authentically.
I had a great experience during my first drum trial! Tamora was an amazing teacher, very patient and encouraging. She made me feel comfortable and helped me learn new things about drumming. I really enjoyed the lesson and I’m excited to keep learning and improving. I’m looking forward to joining the band program and continuing my drum lessons at School of Rock!
My 6yo did the Rookies camp this summer and loved it. It was a great introduction to music and got him excited to explore instruments. He’s a pretty reserved kid and immediately felt comfortable in the space and at ease with his teacher. Communication was great and it was a very welcoming environment.
This place is amazing! The knowledge and patience they have here is incredible! My son learns something every single class and comes out so excited to tell me all about it!! I would give 10 starts if I could! Highly recommend!
