Trae's Barber Shop is a small, clean, and usually quiet shop accessible via the #108 bus, with a stop right across from the location. The barbershop feels like a home and is full of love and authenticity. It is affordable and accepts both male and female clients. The stylist provides a superb, clean cut and is a fantastic, amazing, and talented person. Attention to detail and friendly communication make clients feel they are in good, capable hands. The stylist is always punctual, takes her time, asks how you want your hair to look, and can also be super fast, offering an in-and-out experience. The service results in the best haircut ever, with great cuts and designs. The experience is described as unreal and awesome, making customers happy and glad they visited. Many highly recommend the business, stating it is their new regular spot and that they can't recommend it more.
Every time I've ever gone into the shop they treat me like an old friend and make me feel confident in my hair which helps out a ton. The service is always professional and they dont cut corners on making sure you have a nice clean cut and any extra work you need done. It really feels like a community type of place and I'd recommend it to anyone who needs a dependable friendly barber shop, even when I move I will continue to come here!
Trish is the absolute best. I lived in Medford for only two years, and Trish was the first person to welcome me to the neighborhood. 4 years later and I’m lucky to consider her a friend, although I suspect that is how she makes all of her customers feel. On top of that, she’s a fantastic barber! I don’t live there any more, but I consider it a treat to drive through North shore traffic to get back there for each visit, for every cut.
Trish is my new favorite in Medford. She genuinely cares about everyone that comes in. I'm a bit of a storyteller and she's full of sass and loves to hear them and our back and forth makes you not even realize she's actually also giving you an amazing haircut and beard trim. Hard recommend for a good cut and welcoming environment. Everyone's family there
