I really enjoyed my first haircut here, but minus 1 star for them because there’s no accurate business hours anywhere, so I won’t be going back! Ended up sitting outside at 8:30am when I came for my 2nd haircut. waited twenty minutes before moving on. There’s no business hours on door. Hours on google are clearly inaccurate. No one answers phone. Cmon! Lol.

Best pedicure EVER - I’ve been to multiple salons in Boston, MA and this tops all of them! They do such a thorough job and never rush their services. The prices are also really reasonable compared to other places, and it’s very well-kept and organized. They offer a ton of services but never pressure you to do anything more. It’s definitely a hidden gem, especially because of its location but it’s worth the drive - I’ll definitely be back!!
Cleanliness: They're utensils are always sanitized. The tables and chairs are always clean. Bathroom is also very clean!
I've been here 4-5 times now for manicure and pedicure. Mostly basic things, but they've done an amazing job w/ various cat eyes and glitter ombre. Super friendly staff, they definitely know how to get your nails done perfectly.

I have had very long hair for decades, since I was a child, and I'm extremely attached to it. I was devastated and very afraid when, due to an injury, my hair unexpectedly became severely matted. I am incredibly grateful to have found Princess from Gonikai beauty who, through great skill and compassion, carefully dematted all of my hair over the course of sixteen hours! To say that she went above and beyond would be an understatement. She stayed as long as it took to completely save my hair, which was incredibly helpful because otherwise there would have been a long delay that would have lost progress. She cares so deeply about hair and her clients. The love she shows for hair is unparalleled! And even though she took her time and was careful, she was still more efficient than another salon that had expertise in dematting. I truly cannot recommend Gonikai Beauty enough, including for anyone desperate to save their hair. Having been through this and looked into other options, if I had a friend in a similar situation who lived in another state I would genuinely recommend that they consider flying to MA and staying in a hotel to go to Gonikai Beauty. Please consider Gonikai Beauty for any and all hair needs, and particularly those that require special love and care!

I basically just went in, wanting and expecting a haircut and quick blow dry, but Ava exceeded my expectations! She not only cut my hair perfectly, but she actually took the time to get to know me and my life, gave the best scalp massage I have had in YEARS, and styled my hair in a way even I couldn’t do as a 10 year stylist myself.

The Plumbing Wizard was doing a job in my neighborhood. I called their number to see if they would have time to look at a potential heating system problem. Michael promptly answered the phone and said he would be right over. He arrived and looked at my expansion tank issue and looked the system over and made some recommendations for maintenance, and things for me to follow up on. I was impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor.
It was probably in minute 5 of my cold shower that I truly understood the sage advice I was offered an entire year prior to my water heater pissing the bed on hallows eve. When your water heater has outlived it's ten year warranty and expected life time, replace that thing. Now.

Artisan Hardwood Flooring did an absolutely amazing job refinishing the floors in our bedroom and upstairs hallway. The bedroom had very old water stains, and now the floors are stunning.
The hallway was tricky because they had to feather the finish between the refinished hall and two bedrooms that were not being refinished. The result is beautiful and seamless.
Long told me his crew has been doing this work for 45 years, and that experience really shows. Artisan Hardwood Flooring is top-notch. Call them; you will be very happy you did!

Let's call a spade a spade. I had my backyard which was a mess cleaned by Robinson. The deal was going forward a haircut every other week. Two days ago I called Brian to say that on the day his guy was to come for the lawn that I was having visitors from TX including a 9-day-old baby. Asked him not to send the guy at 8 in the morning for the lawn because of these tired travelers. Guy came, and said Brian said to come. Wonder what he didn't understand about my ask. Called him today and basically he gave me the old brushoff mumbling about you better find someone else. That's right Brian. Take the money and run and don't bother letting me know that I'm small peanuts to your real business and you just can be bothered. Small request, well done brushoff! Quite the businessman.

Last week, I completed my JOL program with JLW Auto School and passed my road test on my first attempt.
For the classroom portion, Jennifer does an excellent job covering everything you need to know before beginning the driving and observation hours included in the program.
For behind-the-wheel instruction, I had Kevin as my driving instructor. Kevin was an amazing teacher. He was patient, easygoing, knowledgeable, and always willing to correct mistakes in a respectful and constructive way. He never came across as rude or passive-aggressive, which made the entire learning experience much more comfortable and enjoyable.
I would 100% recommend JLW Auto School to any friends or family members looking to get their license. The staff is professional, the process moves efficiently, and they make sure you learn everything you need to know along the way!
