She was friendly and attentive to detail with the perfect salon experience. I got a blow out with a scalp service and immediately booked an appointment to get a hair cut and blow out right before the holiday season! The space at hair passion is very clean and welcoming. All the stylists were so friendly between one another as well! Their prices were very reasonable(especially in the greater Boston area) and honestly worth every penny! They also had complimentary water and snacks in their seating area for clients which is always a plus for when you're having a longer hair treatment done!“

Just a note -- one of the stylists (maybe an owner?) had her pitbull walking around freely in the salon. I thought this was unprofessional and frankly inconsiderate of any clients who may be afraid of or allergic to dogs. I won't let it affect my rating because I loved my hair so much, but I do think the salon should reconsider allowing this to happen.“

The woman who did mine was fast, professional, and gave me one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. There are tons of color options and a few of the women there happily helped me pick my color out. “Alyssa is the best stylist I've ever seen! I never used to get regular haircuts because I never enjoyed / cared enough about a haircut to actually want to maintain it. Alyssa changed this for me! The first time I saw her, I had really long hair (before picture included) and went for a big chop, all the way down to a French bob style. She used the reference photo I gave, but also took the time to ask about how I style it and how much time I'd put in to styling it. The next time I went to see her, she had notes from the previous cut and recreated it with no problem, making adjustments for the fact that I wanted to change my part. She's also done waxing on my eyebrows and I love how she makes them look clean but natural. I am so thrilled I took the time looking through reviews until I found Hairspace Salon and Alyssa! Lastly, the VALUE. I challenge anyone to find a better price for a better cut, I don't think it's possible. Get your hair done here, you will not regret it!!!“

I stopped going only because I found a salon close to my workplace, but I returned today to see Karen after I'd had disappointing cuts elsewhere. We discussed what I wanted, and she asked good questions about my preferences for styling and hair texture. Throughout the process, Karen was funny, warm, communicative, and offered her expertise of 40 years. The whole environment of the salon is lighthearted and welcoming. There were women of all ages getting various hairstyles, from classic bobs to modern long layers. A man also came in and received a fresh cut in record time. This is my favorite cut in years and I'm so happy to be back.“
