The Short of it: My Experience with Dream was amazing! Well...I guess it was as amazing as getting hair ripped off of your body can be! Scheduling was easy...her studio was bright, clean, and welcoming...she has a great personality...The pain was minimal...no post-wax/sugar skin issues AT ALL! Highly recommend.
The long of it: I recently moved to Novato, CA to be closer to family. I'm a 46-year-old man with a furrier back and shoulders than I'd like to admit and need regular waxing appointment. A friend of mine has been seeing Dream for years recommended her. I went on her site and scheduled an appointment -- it was super easy. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the salon where her studio was located about 5 minutes early. There was plenty of parking, and there was a comfortable waiting area in the salon. Dream came out and greeted me with a smile, introduced herself and led me back into her studio.
A couple things to note:
1. Her name is ridiculous. It's not her fault -- I came to learn that her parents are hippies. Doesn't matter -- her name suits her personality.
2. She's really pretty. Does this matter at all? Nope. But, it's true.

Her studio was clean. It smelled good, without having any overwhelming fragrance. It was bright, private, and very clean, but didn't have a cold, clinical feel. We talked about the services I signed up for -- back, shoulders, and nostrils (IYKYK) -- and she walked me through her process. It was great! Made me feel comfortable even though I knew I was about to experience pain (I'm very pain avoidant). I have been going to waxing appointments on and off for years. This was the first time I have been introduced to sugaring. She talked me through the difference between waxing and sugaring, telling me the pros and cons of each. I appreciated her informative approach, and we implemented a strategy.
She worked quickly but was very thorough. I have never experienced waxing with such a small amount of pain!! I am a yapper, so I really enjoyed talking with her -- she has an excellent personality and is really fun to talk to. Before I knew it, the appointment was over...and it went super smoothly! (see what I did there?). The best part -- I'm now a week past the appointment, I have had ZERO skin reactions, and my skin is pretty sensipoo. No bumps, breakouts, or rashes!
I re-booked on the spot and am actually looking forward to my next appointment.

Guy Israel provided the most complete proposal of any of the roofing companies we met. He answered all of our questions and tried to foresee any uncertainties. The confidence we gained in his proposal was a major factor in choosing to work with Apollo Roofing. Apollo Roofing provided temporary protection for our damaged roof until their schedule allowed them to replace the roof. Their work was careful, thorough, and complete. It was done professionally and quickly. After the work was completed, all debris was removed. The experience was great. We asked a lot of questions, received a lot of answers, and additional information. Our home was given temporary protection. Then a new roof appeared on our house as if by magic.
My neighbor recommended Maricela to me as I was new to the area. For our first appointment, I requested a deep clean, and they did not disappoint! The team of women was friendly and professional and did a very good job! My house felt spectacular. I now have them come once a month, and Maricela and her team respond quickly and are flexible. They do a great job each time, and the price is very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
I was visiting from Austin and was looking for a barber to do a bread trim. I arrived at Manny G’s door, which was closed. From the parking lot, I heard someone ask if I had an appointment, and I said no. Kelli told me she has an appointment this morning, but I can squeeze you in. So awesome! Cleanliness: Very clean space. They opened the sealed bag of tools/materials in front of me. They use bags over the bowls for the pedicure soaks.

Was able to get a last minute appt with this salon after my regular manicurist from another salon had to leave early. Im always nervous with a new manicurist. I had Ken, this older gentleman that I wasn't quite sure was up for the task. I am blown away by the quality of my gel fill. He did a beautiful job! So much so that I'm considering changing salons. The shape is perfect with very clean lines and a tight fill to the very edge of the cuticle and along the sides of the nail. Also a very clean salon and nicely styled. I asked if they had just opened and apparently they've been there for years. I will be back to try their pedicure as well. I saw a bunch of ladies that seemed to be regulars getting the Queen treatment. In short... highly recommend!

Henry and his crew are the best! They stay open really late, which is amazing for me because I live over an hour away from Lubbock and don’t get off of work till after 5. One time my nail broke and Henry came up to the shop at 1:00am to fix it for me. The nails designs are always amazing, and the pedicures are to die for! I will always recommend Henry when looking for a nail salon! The prices are also extremely affordable, I usually only get charge around $50-60 for a pretty complicated design! If I get a combo nail and toe appointment I usually only spend a little over $100!

Definitely the best in Novato. I contacted Matthews Brothers Plumbing on a Tuesday afternoon due to a sewage backup in my basement. They initially told me the earliest appointment was on Thursday. However, Matthew reached out to me around 5 on Tuesday, offering to come immediately as he didn't want me to endure that situation any longer. He managed to arrange a slot for Wednesday morning. Ross showed up on Wednesday, spent a few hours on the project, and successfully fixed it. He was knowledgeable and provided insightful information about the issue and offered suggestions to prevent it from recurring. Matthews Brothers Plumbing is outstanding, I wouldn't recommend any other place!

Boutique haircut spot. 2 chairs. One cosmetologist/stylist/hair dresser, and she is so delightful. Music is enjoyable, ambience is calm and pleasant. The salon is so clean. But....good luck trying to get an appointment; KC is in- demand and hard to schedule, unless your available for a cut when everyone is normally working. KC is responsive so be flexible.
That being said dont hate if you cant get in, good services are hard to book; great services are a privilege to those who have patience and flexibility in their schedules. KC salon provides top notch great service.
They deserve high ratings but no one wants to let out a good secret for a stylist they love. Not a fancy studio but I prefer quality stylists (cut, color) to atmosphere. I ditched my expensive mill valley pomp studio for this gem. It’s exactly what a hair salon should be and I feel great after every appointment.

I just had a fantastic experience getting a free Brazilian wax at Skin By Delfina while Delfina was training a new student! I was a little nervous about being a model, but I didn't need to be. Delfina was incredibly thorough, walking the student through every step, checking the wax temperature, and ensuring the technique was perfect. The student was gentle, and Delfina’s guidance made me feel completely comfortable and safe. The result is super smooth, and I honestly couldn't be happier. I've been going to sunset for about 15 years. Always relaxing and very professional. Easy to make reservations. And great value for the cost.
I have been here a few times now and always walk away feeling relaxed and less tense. My muscles are so tight but they really work those knots out. I love how you can book online and request specific massage therapists. This way if you really love one you can be sure to get them again.
I’ve had a great experience with Spa Mania. I bought a Tiger River spa from them a few years ago, and it’s been working great ever since.
Recently, I thought the heater might be malfunctioning, so I gave them a call. Their team was incredibly helpful—they walked me through troubleshooting over the phone, clearly explained what part I needed, and let me know they had it in stock. They even offered guidance on how to install it myself.

Grant did a very thoroughly check and recommendeda new water heater as this one was very old and several things out of date. The leaking was quite serious. Yesterday Grant and Tayler brought and installed thenew, bigger and current water heater and updated everything.My husband and I was thrilled at how expertly Grant did this job.It looked very nice, neat and clean where he, Grant, had been working.They were very professional and knowledgeable, and I recommend Grant C & Papas Plumbing, very, very highly. Peter Levi Plumbing sent me a photo and short bio of the technician who would be helping me find a continuous water leak as reported by the county water provider. The technician verified the leak I suspected in the hall bathroom toilet. He reviewed my options and installed the new parts that solved the problem. He also checked the toilet in the other bathroom to see if it was in good condition. We discussed enhancements to our toilets at my request so that I could begin thinking about fancier facilities in the future. I was impressed by his range of knowledge about systems available and by his willingness to “prop up” my aging toilets to last a little longer. He left all work areas immaculate. He also showed me how to read my water meter so that I could always check to see if the meter was running when I thought it should be still.
Our water heater was broken and we contacted several plumbing services and a couple of them came out and provided us their estimates. Chris was quick to respond and he ended up charging less than the original quote and even told us pitfalls of what to avoid with our water heater replacement. Best of all, the job was completed in a timeframe before other plumbers are able to come for their estimates. The team of 2 was fast, efficient and cleaned up the job site meticulously. They were singing and obviously were enjoying their work. I would definitely request and recommended their plumbing services in the future.
After many attempts with other plumbing services, Brian was the only one that was able to fix my leaky bathroom sinks. He throughly diagnosed the issue, helped me find the obscure part I needed, and made time to do the repairs in an efficient and skillful manner at a reasonable price. Brian is the best at his craft, and I will no longer need another plumber; Brian is now our go-to guy! I highly recommend.
I contracted with Alexey/ All Marin to have my breaker box updated/ moved. He was fantastic as very knowledgeable and communicated well on timelines/ process/ inspections etc and did a great job including patching up the walls as well! HIGHLY recommended!

We put out bids for a ~$300k back yard project involving excavation, new poured concrete retaining walls, poured concrete stairs, a 650 sq deck and more. We knew that Rempe was likely to come back with the most expensive bid, and indeed they did. We took that bid because we had confidence that they had actually put some real effort and thought into the bid and that this would be the cost for the project, without overages unless we expanded the scope (which we did). It was broken down into fairly atomic pieces with costs attached to each one, showing us that they weren't just throwing a number out and weren't going to come back to us later saying, "Oh, this wasn't in the scope, the cost is going to go up." That's in distinct contrast to the other bids we got, which didn't give us nearly the same level of confidence that they'd thought our project through completely. We're EXTREMELY glad we went with Rempe. Working with them has been a simply fantastic process, from bid through to project completion. The answer to any request has always been "yes" (though of course some requests come with a price tag) and not only are they very detail-oriented but also concerned with trying to work around your life so they're only in the way as much as they need to be. As an example of their concern for detail: We had a couple very large outdoor umbrella bases sunk into the ground with 2'x2'x2' of concrete poured around them. I hate crooked lines, and when we put the umbrellas in after, I could see that one of the umbrellas was a little off. Measuring it, it was off by 0.9 degrees. Our foreman on the project (Dave Rempe, the owner/founder's brother), who is a construction superhero, immediately agreed that wasn't acceptable, jackhammered the base out, re-leveled it, and then repoured the concrete. Not only that, but he decided the OTHER one, which I hadn't even mentioned, was slightly off as well and redid that one without us even asking. I would absolutely use them again, and would recommend them to anyone who wants a project done very well for the price on the bid.

Bob added a garden window in my kitchen and a 20 ft window in my front room. Wow! He brought the inside to feel like it’s outside! Our ATCO Technician Kevin did his usually thorough insect and rodent treatment as usual. My only concern is that the spider poison may not be a strong enough mixture because the spiders are still our most persistent pest. Perhaps a stronger solution should be used to prevent them coming back. This is the only reason I did not give hime a Five Star rating. Otherwise, I do want to commend Peter on his diligent attention to all aspects of treatment, and his pleasant manner when engaging with me and my wife.
Eric and his crew were amazing. I recently had two very large and sick trees removed from my front yard and the landscaping there was non-existent. Eric listened to what I wanted and then drove me around to look at yards similar to what I wanted so I could get some ideas. Once I decided to proceed with Rayner Landscaping, Eric drew up a landscaping plan and a crew of six was out the next day. The entire project was complete in three days (would have been two days but we had to wait for a few of the plants that were not in stock). His crew prepared the area, removing all the wood chips from the tree removal, installed irrigation, and brought in soil, plants, rocks and mulch. They also replaced a fence and repaired our walkway to the house. Eric was there for a long time every day, even working with his crew, and he made sure everything was installed just right. They even pruned some of my other trees and cleaned up other areas of my yard without charging me extra. Can't say enough about their professionalism and attention to detail. Now I have a front yard I am proud of!

Our HOA here in Petaluma have used Fosec Tree Service several times the last few years. They call back right way when you leave a message and are fair with their prices. They have always keep the appointment they scheduled and have plenty of equipment and skilled tree men to do the job. We have had them remove huge trees and general pruning as well. They always clean up and detail the area afterwards. Give them a call. When I find a good company I try to tell others about them.

Dr. Caralina is different from other chiropractors. From the moment you shake her hand, you know you're meeting a healer. She's well versed in all aspects of health, including the body and mind. The adjustment I had was wonderful - I wasn't rushed like normal DC's that I've visited in Marin. We spent a lot of time together, she's trained in massage, and made sure to loosen my muscles up before the adjustment. I highly recommend her practice!
I’ve been a patient of his for several years and he is by far one of the best.
On my first visit to Dr. Paul's office, I talked about my ongoing pain and numbness on my whole left side. I had symptoms going on since 2016. On my first reflex test with Dr. Paul, I could feel how different the muscle/nerve response was compared to my right side. I had lost 90% of my grip on my left hand, barely felt my left leg, and had unbearable pain for someone my age (27). I found Dr. Paul through a referral and I am amazed by what I could accomplish thus far. He recommended a corrective care program that would cover 90 days (3 times per week) with a reasonable discount which really helped me since I needed more visits because of my situation. This program included re-exams, re-X-rays, and home care routine exercises with some home kits provided by his clinic. I learned with Dr. Paul that soft tissue and nerves heal slowly, therefore patience is necessary to see results. So as you can see in the images attached, during these 3 months I've made real progress, drinking more water, stretching, and going to my therapy with Dr. Paul. I've let these symptoms take over for so long that my body is slowly recovering only now and I will continue regular care with Dr. Paul until my frequency is reduced to once a month. The tipping point was when the pain started spreading to my right upper back and going to reach my right arm, and I am right-handed. My symptoms were these: Numbness and heaviness on the left arm and leg, head, left buttock, and testicle, difficulty breathing, sleeping and exercising or working, zero motivation to complete tasks, 24h stabbing pain in my back near the spine, burning on my hands and dropping objects, unable to hold objects for over 30 seconds on my left hand, neck pain, heaviness on chest and pain chewing food on my left side.Dr. Paul also explained that shifts in our spine, incorrect posture, and degeneration of disks, cut down the communication (flow of energy) with the organs, slowly causing disease and failure. I still have a lot of work to do and I'm glad it wasn't too late for me.I'd also like to remind you that it's still important to get extra exams done and really get to the bottom of what you're feeling. What I can say is that chiropractic help was fundamental for my symptoms to start going away and finally be able to return activities to moderate levels. I bartend and wait tables, so I am always on the move, getting those regular adjustments also make a huge difference.Today, I feel like I went from 0% to at least 80% in general in these 3 months and I am feeling a lot better, and walking straight, which also makes me feel taller and people definitely notice my new level of confidence by the way I carry myself.Needless to say, I renewed care with Dr. Paul for another shorter-term plan after the corrective care, which will allow me to reduce visits little by little as I'm recovering.
Dr. Buzbuzian is a treasure. He really customizes his treatment and is a great educator about exercises you can do to correct the underlying muscular skeletal dynamics. None of that cookie cutter chiropractic nonsense (you know that sequence/routine they do, regardless of diagnosis). I do the exercises he gave me and I feel like a new person.He has such a kind and upbeat disposition. He is so personable and warm. And so is Jack at the front desk. All around a great experience. I brought my 3 year old dog here for behavioral consult due to anxiety and uncooperativeness with her other vet. The space was warm and inviting. Dr Evans and the other staff were great with her and did a wonderful job working with her very cautious and hyper alert personality. The doctor took plenty of time getting to know us and provided some helpful advice. By the end of our appointment, my dog even let the doctor pet her, which is unusual for her the first time she meets someone. I’m optimistic that my girl will get comfortable enough for a physical exam. Would highly recommend, especially if you have an anxious dog.
Really friendly, understanding. Normally, they charge $25 for pet bail clipping, but the vet was so kind she helped me with both my cats and did them both for free. Would recommend to anyone just based on their friendly service alone

I feel like no amount of public praise for Jeannie will feel adequate, but here’s a go. I came to her with significant neck issues: x-rays with confusing results, more than a year of chiropractic care that helped with pain management but wasn’t healing, lots of tense muscles and chronic problems. I wasn’t sure how massage could help but I met Jeannie randomly outside of 9 Corners, and after she encouraged me to visit, my intuition gave me a nudge. The first time she worked on me she noticed scar tissue that no one else had mentioned and offered a fresh perspective. She has a number of certifications, encyclopedic knowledge, and genuine nerdy joy in sharing it. After three bi-weekly appointments my chronic pain completely changed. Again, this was after more than a year of seeking help. I see her once a month now because I enjoy it. I always leave feeling refreshed like I just completed physical therapy, even though she does all the effort. She even taught me at-home techniques for stretches and low-velocity adjustments. 9 Corners Staff have always treated me so well and they make booking easy. And Jeannie is truly just a gem. It’s her ability, but it’s also her kindness, attentiveness and encouragement. What numeric value could possibly be placed on healing chronic pain and all the suffering that comes with it? Or, just meeting a good person and an authentic professional? I feel lucky and grateful to know her and be in her care.
