I call and the phone is answered, I am not put on hold. I ask for an appointment and one is available within days, not weeks. I get follow up messages checking in on pets following a visit. I am almost speechless! Such a change from my prior experience!! And I am most impressed with the thoroughness of the veterinarian’s care. “Our precious dog Milou had double knee surgery at VRSS at the end of June. Dr. Russ Gurevitch and his staff were outstanding the day of surgery and have continued to impress us at each follow up visit she has had since. Everyone in the office is very warm and caring which absolutely was NOT true of a couple of the other places we called for consultations before ultimately deciding to go with Dr. Russ. The kicker too was that the cost was significantly lower (by several hundred dollars) than some of the other facilities that we could have gone with. Warm, caring service and the best prices too? Yes please! Their office also accepts Care Credit so you don't have to skip meals to pay for your animal's care. We got set up on a year long interest free plan which helped us to take care of Milou without strapping ourselves financially. Obviously we all hope that our furry family members never need surgery but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Russ to anyone that is looking for a quality surgeon at a reasonable price for that type of work.“
