Dr. Jesse Morris is an absolute must if you are struggling with fatigue, irritability, brain fog, poor sleep, hormonal issues and food I tolerances. We worked on honing in on what could be causing my issues and eliminating the causes of inflation and fatigue for me. I could never be where I am today in my job without him and his guidance because I would literally need to sleep after anything I ate, no matter how healthy it was. Today, at 42, for the first time in 25 years, I have a totally normal cycle and am sleeping past 5 am! My husband can't believe he has his wife back and that I don't need to sleep all weekend. Dr. Anjie is an exceptional practitioner and the most knowledgeable and caring doctor that I have worked with. Initially, she did a thorough review of my health history and made changes in my supplement routine, which resulted in immediate improvements to my energy, sleep, and mood. She is well versed in functional medicine lab testing and is always concerned about making the wisest, most impactful testing choices so as to not over-test. She has been consistently encouraging and informative about making lifestyle changes to help support my diet and supplements and I have started to lose weight and feel better overall. I've received a couple treatments from Pam over the last couple months and highly recommend her. She is such a sweet caring person with deep knowledge of our biological systems and so she combines various modalities to help soothe and heal whatever ails ya: I have chronic pain in my shoulder from an old injury that never got surgically repaired (no insurance). Once in a while after heavy use it flares up, but with a combination of Acupuncture, massage and cupping the pain and stiffness was significantly relieved... So i sent my mom here for her gastritis issue and she is now getting herbal treatment and acupuncture which has helped her out too.

I had Sunshine Flooring came out to make a bid on my (small) flooring repair and refinishing project. David was prompt with his responses answering all my questions and even anticipating some I hadn't thought to ask. He shared his experienced perspective on how we could approach our floors and was able to provide an estimate extremely quickly after an on-site visit. While we ultimately chose to go with another vendor who offered a different finish we wanted to try, I would highly recommend giving Sunshine Flooring an opportunity to bid on your project.
Honest and Knowledgeable--Highly Recommended!We have a through-the-wall air conditioner which started to make some new noises when turned off. I called JB Refrigeration. As it was not an emergency (not a hot spell), he came out a few days later and after listening to my AC, diagnosed the problem. We discussed several alternatives (being an older, cheaper unit and he wasn't sure he could even fix it), we settled on one (no repair) and we were done. I was impressed with his overall knowledge and the fact that he was willing to discuss a no repair option (for the time being and until it went completely kaput). This gives me time to research getting a replacement unit. He even offered to come back and help with the install if needed.In a heart beat, I would call him back if needed.

Dani is BRILLIANT. I'm fortunate to have gotten facials, lash tints, and lash lifts for a few months now. She's clearly a master at her craft. She pampers me and makes me feel so comfortable. And she gives me excellent advice for what to do when I'm not at the salon -- what face-care regimen to use, what creams to buy (she sells them, but gives me the chance to find them cheaper online), brushes for my lashes to extend the effect of the service, etc. She's also so friendly!If you're looking for any beauty or skincare services, I wholeheartedly recommend Dani!

We needed a new deck so I had three deck companies come and give bids. All had good reviews on Yelp. All three had similar opinions on what would work, what we should avoid, and other considerations when it comes to how much we wanted to spend. In the end, all three bids had similar parameters, but Arrow came with the best price. Also, they could start quickly, within 2 weeks, while the other two wanted two months to start. The job took less than three weeks and it looks great. If I saw something I wanted to change, they did it immediately without any pushback. Within five weeks from the day I met Gary, I had a nice big brand new deck. Gary and I would text or call each other whenever he or I had a question. He was very responsive. Great service. During the final touches I was so impressed I asked Gary to give me a bid for a new set of stairs on the side of the house. I had a price in half a day and the guys stayed on the job for one more week to make it happen. Fast, courteous, and affordable. If you need a deck, stairs, fence, etc, call Arrow.

My wife and I delayed doing "the major remodel" for years because we had heard all the horror stories. But the time had definitely come, and the perfect rental house fell into our laps in our neighborhood. So we decided to move forward and hired our architects. We were going to use a general contractor who had done some other remodels in our neighborhood. But our architects highly recommended Nick so we interviewed him as well. This was a major remodel, full kitchen with an addition, major structural changes throughout, full remodel of two bathrooms, a new deck and porch, new windows, in short, basically the works. From the first interview, it was evident that Nick knew what he was doing. He had thoughtful suggestions across the board and always provided a reasonable and pragmatic point of view. We decided to go with Nick, and it was the best decision we made. Nick managed to bring in our remodel on budget, on time, and with impeccable workmanship, all while dealing with the major obstacles of COVID19 and the shelter-in-place. It was quite incredible that he got it done. Nick is not overly dependent on subcontractors, and he knows how to line things up from a timing perspective and press those involved in the job so things run relatively smoothly and get done on time. At bottom, Nick is just a real pro, and I couldn't recommend him more highly. And to top it off, he is a good guy too!
Two preliminary notes: First, we are in central Marin (despite my out-of-date SoCal location). And, second, this is a long-overdue review, because Sam and his team remodeled our kitchen and master bedroom in late 2019 / early 2020. Sam certainly deserves a strong recommendation, and I also think this late post is a testament to how well his work has held up. We talked to a number of contractors before hiring Sam. He came across as the most genuine and honest, and we were very happy that the person he presented as when we talked to him was exactly who he was throughout our project. In addition to being a highly skilled builder (and carpenter), the thing we appreciated most about Sam was his integrity. We never once had any issue where we felt like he was trying to "get one over on us" (something we have heard about with many other contractors). If there was an area where the cost might go beyond the quote (something that happened shockingly infrequently, based on the horror stories we've heard about other contractors), he always flagged it well in advance, and it was always a genuine issue that seemed unforeseeable. Sam really earned our trust--so much so that we asked him to do a sliding door replacement a few months after the kitchen / bathroom work. He and his crew did a great job with that as well. I will follow up to this post in the near future with some pictures of the great work that Sam did on our kitchen and bathroom. But 1.5 years later, I'm happy to report that everything's in great shape and we've been loving the remodel. Sam has our high recommendation!
Until I met Laura, I was looking for a quick fix or a simple solution to my back troubles. After many months of suffering, and not finding any real support at Kaiser, I was referred to Laura by a friend. She helped me understand the mechanics of my problem, and got me started with doing exercises to strengthen the underlying weakness in my core. It's been a long, slow road but I am on my way to getting stronger and back to the things I did before my injury. Laura was the first stop on my true healing journey- she does great work, especially for people who are dealing with acute back injuries.

They replaced a faulty gas valve... $200.10 out of 10 will call again.
Great therapist - uses a unique light touch technique that is focused on lymphnodes. I am usually a deep tissue/thai guy so wasnt sure if it would be effective, but it had amazing results. Not only released back/leg tension and worked through knots, but also corrected the last lingering soreness of a 6 month old sprained knee. Super nice guy too. Highly recommended.
BEYOND grateful for Sarah Fink. She is so smart, so extraordinarily compassionate and caring, so perceptive. The list goes on.The way she does acupuncture is so much more effective and efficient than other acupuncturists I've seen. She seems to be so much more deliberate and thoughtful with where she places the needles and for how long.More than that, Sarah makes you feel so safe, comfortable and cared for. She's also incredibly perceptive and takes a completely holistic approach. I can't explain it but when you're on her table, you just feel so genuinely cared for. I've never had an acupuncturist or doctor seem to care so much about healing me. It means so much to me.5 stars does not do her practice justice. She is a true healer.
I recommend Sara, I have been working with her for about a year now, I have the normal aches and pains that come with age and Sara takes such good care of me so I don't get hurt. I feel the best I have felt in years. My back has gotten strong. I'm able to lift more with our getting hurt. My core strength has improved so much. She is very pleasant to work with and she brings her dog to work which is wonderful.
Raphael is a gifted massage therapist. I've seen many and he's one of the best. As a woman, I usually prefer to see a female massage therapist, but I am completely comfortable with Raphael because has clear, positive energy and is empathic and intuitive when it comes to touch. He balances strength and gentleness as he works, so I leave the table feeling like I got a great, deep massage, but I also feel relaxed and mellow. I like that Raphael checks in periodically to see how the pressure is~ He's perceptive and also remembers what kinds of touch I like on different parts of my body. I appreciate that he has good availability, so I can usually get in when I want to, even on weekends. Writing this review is making me want to call him right now for some body work~ You should too! :-)
Tamara is a phenomenal acupuncturist. I was fortunate to be referred to her a few years ago and she has given me so much relief at each visit. The first was for a pinched nerve in my neck, keeping me from turning my head for 3 days. A friend referred her and after one session I had complete mobility back. I've since recommended multiple friends to her and everyone has left feeling completely satisfied. She's a lovely woman on top of her excellent healing abilities! I highly recommend her.
I have been treated by Mary Norton for several years, and for a wide range of injuries and cancer. Mary is an absolute magician. As someone who has hurt himself hundreds of times throughout life while engaging in risky sports, I have seen just about every form of medical care. I will tell you that this brilliant woman is better at healing than any doctor I have ever seen.
Have had wonderful uplifting cuts for many years from Lorelei. I always am the focus without distractions from others or pointless chatter. She tunes into you to complete the image. I always leave happy.

I asked them if they could diagnose a low pressure warning on a tire and not only did they see me last minute but they didn’t charge me a penny. They fixed it in a few minutes and wouldn’t accept a tip. These guys rock!
Christina is probably the best massage therapist that I've ever been to. PERIOD. I work at a computer and I'm plagued by excruciating neck, jaw, shoulder and upper back tightness. My situation leaves me trying to relieve the pain just so that it'll enable me to function. She approaches the situation not just from an immediate relief perspective, but also from a long-term "get to the bottom of the issue" standpoint. Christina listens to my specific pains each visit and he goes to great lengths to isolate the actual source of the issue. I guess I never knew how interconnected our muscles/body/mind/etc. are, since the source of the issues tend to be in completely different parts of the body... and she goes from one muscles group to the next to the next, but not in some pre-programmed way but almost like someone trying to unwind a cord or string that's completely tangled upon itself. She is extremely thoughtful of what she is trying to accomplish. I have been impressed time and time again with how attentive she is to making me really feel better. I see Christina every 4-6 weeks, but I definitely need to make time to go in the 3-4 week range to train my muscles better. Just like anything else, when muscles are use to being a certain way (i.e. tight), then want to revert back into that original state. It takes time to re-train the muscles so that they know how to stay relaxed. Christina is able to provide me that immediate relief and then each time I go in she's able to chip away at the next layer to tightness and pain. I recommend Christina's 4 session package deals (assuming that she still offers them to the general public)... I dare anyone to find a world-class massage therapist like Christina for such a reasonable amount. We are really lucky to have her here in Fairfax. :-)

We had our carpets cleaned by North Bay Carpets recently - easy to schedule, affordable and overall good experience. John provided a quote over the phone and once he toured the house he ended up charging less. Really appreciated how he worked around our furniture and my husband who was working from home that day. I plan to start using North Bay Carpets a couple times a year now that I know how easy and affordable it can be.

We take our husky mix here and have also taken our foster dog here. The staff is really friendly and efficient. It has also been pretty easy to get an appointment here which we love. They I helped us figure out that our dog is very allergic to a lot of the plants in the area and are helping us treat his allergies with shots.
These people are really pros at what they do. They also paint beautiful flowers on your toes upon request. It’s a relaxing, gentle experience. I highly recommend them. The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is that the communication was a little rickety but other than that, it’s a great place.
I’ve known Steve for more years than I care to mention. I was superintendent at a local tree service and worked with Steve for about 10 years. He was always conscientious and would go out of his way to help customers and fellow employees. Now that I no longer do tree work I have had Steve do some work for me, always to my satisfaction and enjoyment.I find Mr. Fitzgerald’s post curious. “How this guy is in business... no idea.” Perhaps he has been in business for over 40 years because he is a qualified arborist and sensed that this meeting wasn’t going to work out to anyones benefit. She remembers my concerns from previous appointments which makes me feel heard. As a 2 sport college athlete I have had exposure to nearly hundreds of massage therapists, I prefer Christine over anyone. I highly recommend her to friends and family.
