“The Short of it: My Experience with Dream was amazing! Well...I guess it was as amazing as getting hair ripped off of your body can be! Scheduling was easy...her studio was bright, clean, and welcoming...she has a great personality...The pain was minimal...no post-wax/sugar skin issues AT ALL! Highly recommend.<br><br>The long of it: I recently moved to Novato, CA to be closer to family. I'm a 46-year-old man with a furrier back and shoulders than I'd like to admit and need regular waxing appointment. A friend of mine has been seeing Dream for years recommended her. I went on her site and scheduled an appointment -- it was super easy. On the day of my appointment, I arrived at the salon where her studio was located about 5 minutes early. There was plenty of parking, and there was a comfortable waiting area in the salon. Dream came out and greeted me with a smile, introduced herself and led me back into her studio.<br><br>A couple things to note:<br><br>1. Her name is ridiculous. It's not her fault -- I came to learn that her parents are hippies. Doesn't matter -- her name suits her personality.<br>2. She's really pretty. Does this matter at all? Nope. But, it's true.<br><br>Back to the review...<br><br>Her studio was clean. It smelled good, without having any overwhelming fragrance. It was bright, private, and very clean, but didn't have a cold, clinical feel. We talked about the services I signed up for -- back, shoulders, and nostrils (IYKYK) -- and she walked me through her process. It was great! Made me feel comfortable even though I knew I was about to experience pain (I'm very pain avoidant). I have been going to waxing appointments on and off for years. This was the first time I have been introduced to sugaring. She talked me through the difference between waxing and sugaring, telling me the pros and cons of each. I appreciated her informative approach, and we implemented a strategy.<br><br>She worked quickly but was very thorough. I have never experienced waxing with such a small amount of pain!! I am a yapper, so I really enjoyed talking with her -- she has an excellent personality and is really fun to talk to. Before I knew it, the appointment was over...and it went super smoothly! (see what I did there?). The best part -- I'm now a week past the appointment, I have had ZERO skin reactions, and my skin is pretty sensipoo. No bumps, breakouts, or rashes!<br><br>I re-booked on the spot and am actually looking forward to my next appointment.”
