PurrErze Cat Grooming & Boarding

PurrErze Cat Grooming & Boarding offers cat boarding and grooming services. For boarding, it provides a quieter, more personalized atmosphere compared to larger facilities, with large, private spaces for the cats. The owner sends photos and updates and can be flexible and accommodating with scheduling, even at the last minute. She is described as a fantastic and knowledgeable groomer, even for cats that can be difficult.

There are several important policies and points of feedback from clients. The owner does not allow clients to enter the house to drop off or see the boarding space, a rule that is not communicated beforehand and can cause an upsetting and uncomfortable first meeting. She strongly recommends or mandates a flea and tick treatment before boarding. The preferred feeding method is free feeding of kibble, and there are instances where specific feeding schedules requested by owners were not followed, leading to issues like weight gain or diarrhea. The boarding rate is $35 per day.

Regarding charges, the business is cash only. Invoices are provided at pickup, and the total cost is not always clear in advance. A consistent point of confusion and complaint is the addition of sales tax to the service charges, which some clients find odd. Costs for extended stays can be high, with one example being over $500 for eight days.
