“Love the teachers, vibe, and supportive community that LCPY has created for all of us over the years!”
“Immersive and rejuvenating experience. Truly meditative through doing. Great teachers paying attention to detail. Life changing.”
“Cator is an incredible practitioner with a deep knowledge of bodies and their subtleties. She helped me immeasurably after 2 concussions, and has been an incredible resource for my whole family. She's amazingly intuitive, supportive, curious, and healing. Very grateful!”
“Ameila is a wonderful teacher. She creates a warm, welcoming space and is supportive of her students' growth at every level. Her insightful cues have helped me recover from injuries and feel stronger in my everyday movements. I love her classes.”
“Great classes! May Mei and Adrian are excellent teachers. Would recommend to friends.”
“Excellent service both by text message and in person! The receptionist was so kind, and everyone there really makes you feel welcome. The place is clean and smells great, although you might smell a little afterward once you’re done—haha!”
“The BEST thing I could've done after a car accident. I went to another chiropractor at first, a nice humble family practice, but the pain persisted. My lawyer found Symmetry the first day I cried; not over pain, but the care AND INFORMATION. Dr. B took images X- and rays and explained the WHY to what I was feeling. I can't describe the clarity knowing answers the causation and how the plan could rectify the problem. Then Dr. Lee who I proposed to several times over a period of months, because his adjustment is from God, (our weddings in June, wear blush) 😋 The Oakland office is Bart and bus accessible, and the Alameda office has ample parking. The entire staff is knowledgeable, and the receptionist Devanae' is a sweetheart. I highly recommend you WILL NOT REGRET IT. ✅💋”
“Very nice studio. Super clean. Teachers and staff were amazing. Definitely a work out but love the challenge though very patient instructors.”
“I did a drop in class as I was traveling through the area. It was super easy to book a drop in, and they had towels and mats to rent. I took Nicole's vinyasa flow class and it was fantastic! Her cues were easy to follow but also allowed to challenge or modify to your abilities. I will definitely keep this studio in mind if I end up with some extra time in San Francisco again.”
“I first started coming here because it was the only place locally that doesn't have any hot yoga and am glad that worked out haha. Ann and Claire are wonderful. I highly recommend Ann for vinyasa and Claire for more mindful, slow meditative work. I do not recommend Suzanne.”
“New to dance. Just found this studio. So fun! I hope you all add more beginner hip hop classes with Tashi, she's the best.”
“This studio has really helped my pain and sciatica. The community is so welcoming and I’m obsessed with the plants.”
“Took a group class and it was so much fun. The kiddos enjoyed learning outside and I loved the opportunity to connect with them. Michelle is a very experienced and patient teacher. She made it super fun for everyone.”
“This is an incredible spiritual home for all those seeking and serving the Path. So blessed to be had as a guest here. Divine Love lives and facilitates here!!!!!! 💕 🙏🏻🔥”
“I started taking yoga classes here 7 years ago, and it has literally changed my life. At that point, my health was very problematic. I couldn't balance with my eyes closed. I couldn't bend all the way over. But after what I've learned at Mountain Yoga, in my mid-70s I have gained flexibility and good balance, and I feel as good as I have in many years. All the teachers I've had have been great, and quite different from each other so there are a variety of approaches. The studio is very good about encouraging each student to find their own best way of practicing, and there are many resources available to make that happen -- different kinds of classes in person, online, and recorded, as well as workshops and retreats. I am an older woman who had no experience at all with yoga before I came here, and I feel like I've found my yoga community.”
“Had my first class here at Barry's a few days ago. The staffers are informative and helpful, the space is clean and seemingly well-maintained; the class and the instructors were very clear with their coaching for the group class. The space felt very disorienting at first with low-light and loud sound, but once you get settled, it seems fine. My observation is around hygiene and cleanliness. During the class sessions, no one seems to be wiping down their equipments in between use, which seemed very gross especially during a sweat-inducing class. Perhaps there's more encouragement from the instructions to do so during the session?”
“Brian is extremely knowledgable in his arts. The cues he gives just clicks for me and addresses problems I've had for so long. He gives individualized variations for all levels as well as hands on assistance. You know how rare this is if you‘ve been to a few studios.”
“Dr Klein is a pleasure to work with. I came in with several problems and she was able to identify there source and treat them effectively. She has an amazing knowledge of the body and how it functions. I’ve been to several chiropractors over the years and she is right up there with the best! Thanks Dr. Klein!”
“Lovely yoga studio. Great variety of classes and fantastic teachers (thank you!). The MLK studio is very bright and peaceful. They lend you yoga mats and other props you might need. I highly recommend, for all levels!”
“Rebecca is an amazing healer and listener. Every visit is a little different based on what I share with her. I leave feeling completely at peace and restored. Its a magical experience! Thank you Rebecca!!”
“I am a regular since the day I booked my first class here which is almost a year. All the front desk and manager here are very friendly and welcoming. I truly enjoy every yoga teachers class. And the studio interior also just stunning 🤩 .”
“Updated review:
I decided to try the studio again after the manager reached out to me and offered a class credit. The class was smooth and cheerful. I will go back.

The yoga instructor took 5 minutes of the class talking about politics, going far beyond the typical 'peace and justice for all' messages in yoga practices and kept reminding in the middle of the practice that injustice hurts which made it very stressful. For one thing, it's not inclusive to assume everyone agrees with their views. Secondly, this was my space to meditate and her tone and words really left me stressed out.”
“The esthetics of the atmosphere and feeling that Martina and those who helped her have designed and co-created at Gaia Yoga lends itself to experiencing a rich and meditative immersion in the practice. My classes there are built into my weekly schedule. I have resonated with every teacher whose class I have attended, each one unique in their style of teaching and all highly experienced!”
“Love this gym but this location is absolutely not worth coming to unless you're able to workout between 9am and 4pm otherwise this place is swamped with people. Other than that, this is probably the best gym in the city. Well, the front staff seem unfriendly. It has newer functionable equipment, towel service and the cleaning crew keeps this place spotless. It's also MASSIVE!!”
“Such a disagreeable experience with the support. The website doesn’t give any information regarding the memberships they offer. I was very interested by their studio so I decided to text them and ask what is the price of their memberships and what do they include (amount of classes per month, other perks). I’ve been doing some back and forth with them for the last week because they won’t tell me this basic information and are asking me to pay $50 for their introductory package to tell me more.

Edit: thanks for taking the time to address this. I’m sure you are doing an incredible work inside the studio; and I hope that raising this issue will enable you to work out the pricing communication to potential clients better in the future.”
