I am very self-conscious about my appearance, and I have spent a great deal of money on my hair in Milwaukee and when I lived in NYC, Washington D.C., Louisville, Cincinnati, Salt Lake City, and Seattle. Of all, John at Hair Experience took the time and effort to make me look my best. He is skilled and has learned every technique imaginable, with expertise far beyond what they teach in the current beauty schools. He is a master cutter, as adept with women's hair as with men's hair.We have moved back to Milwaukee after a 12-year hiatus, and I am happy to be back in John's chair. My wife is also taking advantage of John's talent. Perhaps the "bells and whistles" of the trendoid salons are absent from Hair Experience. Still, if you care about your cut and style and not some toothy receptionist addressing you with vocal fry asking if you want a drink, you will be happy at Hair Experience of Bayview.

I never experienced a service like this. I’m so happy with my results. My hands feel very light it’s like I have nothing on at all. It is three months later and my nails are still shiny neat and luxurious. I definitely feel Like I have found a nail tech that takes pride in customer service I actually fell asleep a few times during my service very relaxing. I’m so happy, I’ve received so many compliments on my nails. She didn’t rush through our appointment, she took the time to make each nail perfect in shape, length, and design. Best place to get your nails done. I got my wedding nails done by Kara and they were perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and they lasted so long too. I got a gel manicure and she was so patient and kind to me. She does exactly what you ask for and is very gentle as well. I’ve never loved my nails more. I don’t get my nails done often but I’m in love with her work and will always go to her whenever I need them done!?
I love Tanya and Annette, they make me feel at home. I now have moved and live about an hour away but I still make the drive. I'm a loyal customer! They are very reasonable in their prices even though they had to raise them, but still reasonable. I usually get my hair done along with manicure and pedicure when I visit.

I took the monthly special classic eyelash extension course with Imani and it was wonderful! She was very accommodating, supportive, encouraging, and attentive. It was a lot of information to take in and she was very patient with me and checked in with me to see how I was feeling and if I had any questions. Not only does she help you during the class, but she will assist with any questions you have after the course. Her support doesn’t just stop, so make sure to reach out to her if you have any follow up questions. I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend taking her courses if you’re interested in learning how to do eyelash extensions.

We all know, if you’re getting a vulnerable place waxed it’s already uncomfortable. With Jade, I feel safe and more confident with how easy going (and again) comfortable she makes the entire experience! Natalia is a talented esthetician and a kind human being. I found her a couple years back when I was in need of a brow wax. She was very close to my house so a simple Google search led me to her. Recently, she moved to a new location. Although it's farther from me (not by much lol), it is totally worth the drive! Her new space is amazing. It's bigger, it has a front desk, a huge room with multiple tables, chairs, couches, a changing area, and absolutely charming decor. Pink, pink, and more pink! Just walking in makes you feel special and girly :) She supplies snacks, sells beauty products, and even has her own merch! I don't have experience with any waxing services other than my eyebrows, but I'm sure Natalia can gently and carefully wax whatever you need. I stopped getting my eyebrows done for a long time because I didn't like the pain... I barely feel anything when she does them! My brows look perfect after every visit. Natalia is very sweet and does a good job at making her clients feel comfortable. She'll chit-chat if you want, or give you a quiet appointment with music playing the background. Her prices are fair and she's flexible with scheduling. Natalia runs a cute, clean, and comfortable business!

This was one of if not the best massage I’ve ever had. I like a lot of pressure and Lashonta delivered. We booked a very last minute couples massage while on vacation in Milwaukee . You can really tell Lashonta cares about her craft and creating an atmosphere of relaxation. She takes the time to listen to any concerns or preferences you have. The only critique I would have is that the room is a tad small for a couples massage so the beds had to be moved around a little bit during the massage. But overall, we felt very well taken care of and I would definitely recommend getting a massage here.

When I found Mania Tattoo I was instantly drawn to his designs - once I met Jesse and learned about his philosophy as a designer and his inspirations I was hooked. I am somewhat new to tattoos but hearing about Amund Dietzel and Milwaukee style tattoos - I’ve now have a new appreciation to what true tattoo art can be. Finding out that Amund Dietzel lived a mile away from my current home in Wauwatosa in the 30s (see the “Double Dietzel” picture) - made me love my tattoo even more. Tattoo artist Courtney was amazing. She designed and tattooed my arm and it turned out perfect. I was also given quality aftercare instructions. She was so nice too. I parked on the street (no meter) and am not sure if there's public parking lots available nearby. The shop was beautiful and clean, but there are steep stairs to get in the front door. I'm not sure if there is a separate wheelchair accessible entrance. All in all, though, I loved my experience and will definitely keep Honey Wraith Tattoo and Courtney in mind for future tattoos!
If I could leave more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Jon is excellent. I've had several tattoos done (age 74 NO PROBLEM) and he does a wonderful job. It is a pleasant experience. He is a really interesting guy and does great work! I'm leaving photos of 2 of my tattoos (so excellent). I'll write again when he has finished the next one. He is a brilliant artist, takes the time to listen to what you are trying to achieve and the end result is always great!
I have been throwing around the idea of getting more ink for a while, hand-wringing over who to go to. I finally settled on Good Land based on friends recommendations. My guy was Ryan Friedel. I'm SOOOO happy with his work. Crisp lines, and really fantastic shading. I have to go back next week for more work, and plan on giving Ryan (or Ben/Mark) my business for years to come.
Did a half sleeve for me in two sittings. Amazing dude and amazing artist. He’s done tattoos for multiple family members and Jeremy always delivers. Highly recommend! I’ll be coming back to finish the rest of my sleeve 1000%. I don’t trust anybody else. Jeremy is the goat.

Brent is Super knowledgeable and professional! We originally went in just to have my daughter’s nose jewelry removed after she got a bump. He explained the previous jewelry was too large and gave honest advice to let it heal first. We came back later and he re-pierced it with the proper jewelry — smooth, clean, and done right. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!

By far, the best priced and nicest plumber I have ever had. I moved from Wauwatosa to Mequon two years ago and I just called Rich twenty minutes ago due to a failed sump pump. Rich is great. We purchased a Maytag Gas Dryer, Model #MGD5030MW1. After just 1 medium size load of towels, we noticed a vibration that would come & go. I immediately called the store we purchased the dryer from, and they gave us a phone number to call for service. And lucky for us, that led to Clay, from Appliance Masters coming to our home. He was great! He methodically went through the possibilities for the cause of the vibration. You could tell immediately he was a 'Pro' at what he was doing. And even though he already had a long day with 2 more stops after ours, he didn't rush, was friendly, and answered all our questions. Called Humberto last year (sorry for the delay in review!) to deal with a raccoon in the attic. SUPER easy to communicate with, caught the little fella upon the critter's next visit. Humberto took her out of the attic with care, quickly identified it was soon-to-be mama, and took her somewhere to be a happy little raccoon away from my house.
Humberto showed he knows raccoons and cares about keeping them safe through the process. Would gladly call again if I have a similar issue down the road.
We moved into a house that had a A LOT of spiders, ants, some centipedes and a mouse or two. After their first visit we noticed a difference, and now after a few more seasonal visits, the difference is night and day. Steve is a licensed, certified master technician who is very reasonable and uses pet safe chemicals. He also knows a lot about insects and animals, explaining their behaviors and how it impacts his approach. Our neighbors go to him as well.

We called Braun’s landscaping to give us an estimate to trim 3 groups of overgrown bushes and to reseed areas of our yard to fill damage done on our backyard when we had several large trees removed and stumped last year.
Ben was very responsive after we called and came out to our home to review the work we requested.
A few days after Ben came out we received a very reasonable quote which we accepted.
Ben came out early on the day we agreed to have him complete our project. He started trimming the overgrown bushes and did a beautiful job in trimming and shaping the bushes! A most improved look when he was done. Ben also did a great job removing all of the hugh pile of bush trimmings and then used his blower to clean up the smaller debris.
After finishing the bushes Ben started working on our yard repair. He raked out the tree stumped areas and filled them with nice topsoil, seeded the areas, and layered a straw topping over the newly seeded areas. He then did the same for 5-6 deep ruts left by the tree company’s trucks.
Ben is friendly and hardworking and did a beautiful job on our property. The work was well done and cleanup and removal of debris was exceptional. We plan to continue to use Braun Landscaping services next year to help our property exterior to look well maintained!

They were flexible, responsive, efficient and best part I liked about working with them is that they would be informative and educational about the process, sharing tips along the way. Highly, highly recommend! I come from a trades background and am fairly picky when it comes to work on my property. They exceeded all my expectations. I hired them to replace my old, rotting RR tie retaining wall with a block one. Also re-grade and seed my front yard. First off, Dave the operations manager was responsive and professional throughout the entire process. Its obvious he's been doing this for awhile and knows his stuff. Same with the install crew. They did an outstanding job on all aspects of the project. They had all the right equipment for the work. They were on time, hard working, and respectful of both my property and my neighbor's (The wall is on the property line). The block wall isnt tall, only about 2 feet, but it is long. Around 100'. Its laser-straight and perfectly flat along the entire thing. The re-grade and seed also looks great. Nice and flat, even, and slopes down nicely. I really cannot recommend them enough. Thanks again to Dave and the entire crew that made this labor intensive job look easy!

I been with Dr. Kronz for the past couple of years and he helped me alot with dealing with my sciatica. He and his staff ( wonderful ladies) are so nice and friendly to me that's it hard not to come back. They keep in touch with me if I'm gone to long and make sure how I am. Especially I missed her former Regina who was so friendly and caring as well. I definitely recommend him to anyone who his treatment.
Highly recommend both Dr. Pope and Dr. Danny! I called here on a Saturday in desperate pain hoping that someone could help me and luckily Dr. Pope was able to squeeze me in that day to help with my horrible back pain. I started feeling much better after my first adjustment with Dr. Pope, then had another adjustment with Dr. Danny a couple days later and now my pain is down to a 2/10 from a 9/10. The front desk staff are wonderful as well! If you're in pain, don't hesitate to call Pope Chiropractic. You'll be surprised at how affordable and effective their chiropractic care is!

Dr. Fritz has helped me so much. He listened to all of my concerns and issues. We came up with a plan and wow... Dr.Scott have done magic for me ! I had a horrible jaw pain after the car accident. It was very hard for me to open my mouth, eat, yawn, etc. Every day I was suffering with headaches as well for 6 months.
Nothing helped. I tried physical therapy, special exercises, dry needling, acupuncture!
Dr. Scott helped me , within 3 month I was pain free. The staff at the clinic also is very nice and friendly!
Dr. Mike is amazing! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place has literally given me new life. The milwaukee va was talking about fusing my neck and spine until I asked if they offered any other options. I was in extreme pain everyday and could barely walk, from injuries sustained through out my time in the Marine corps. All I wanted is to give my kids the things I never had (3 and 8 year old) so I had a disney trip plan. I met Dr. J just three weeks before the magical trip where I was likely to have to spend majority of the two week trip confined to a wheel chair. After the consult he was sure that I would benefit from the appointments. I was skeptical but took the risk. While in Florida I was on my feet for three them parks almost 9 hours each day. I continue to see him at least once a week for 15 minutes sessions and have gotten my life back. I can handle all my household and work obligations along with able to ride my motorcycle again, and most importantly get to create more memories with my children. Dr. J has a fun personality and is incredibly flexible. He even came in on his day off when I called and said I was having pain. In my neck. My experience over the last 2 and a half years has been amazing. He has become an essential part of my life and is considered a dear friend. Please before you let someone cut you open give ultimate life chiropractic a try! It could possibly improve your life as dramatically as it has improved mine. If I could give it ten stars I would!
Dr. Merriman helped me regain my comfort and posture after having a baby, even though I had never been to a chiropractor before. Our whole family goes to her and she helped our infant get over reflux and torticollis. Forever grateful for her expertise, understanding and patience. I was looking for a new vet because we had recently moved and my cat was sick. It was really easy to schedule an appointment online. Once I did, I was called shortly after with a recommendation that he come in sooner and provided availability for same day appointments. The staff was all very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. My cat is very warry of new people, especially when he's being poked and looked at during a vet appointment. He was so comfortable and relaxed, so I was, too. The provided detailed care instructions which include quick solutions to try to address his illness. The price was also really reasonable. Overall, would highly recommend Small Animal Hospital.

We have taken our dog here for ~8 years and the staff and vet have been kind and direct about the condition and treatment for my dog. This year we had to put our dog down and they walked us though all of our options to give our dog the best last couple months and how to know when it might be time.
We recently adopted a new dog and it is comforting to know that I have a trusted vet for my new little guy.

We have been bringing our fur babies here for years and enjoy the vets knowledge.. just wished they did appointments so we could avoid the long wait times.
I have to say this is one of the best veterinary clinic that I’ve ever seen or been to and I will say the vets are amazing. It is expensive. But anything worth something good is in these guys are good.. although they’re cat clipping nails used to be courtesy it now cost you $30 so if you cut your cats clause, don’t wait till your appointment and do them yourself and save yourself some money and it’s cheaper if you use cash or your debit card otherwise, you get charged a fee for using the credit card. These are the best vets I’ve ever known and my kitty just absolutely is not stressed. He did well and I love the clinic. It’s amazing Best clinic out there.

Dr. Sherer is fantastic! I highly recommend them. Cat care in general is not cheap, so don’t go in expecting to spend $100 one time and never worry about your cat again. Dr. Sherer went above and beyond to inform me everything about my cat’s teeth extraction and cleaning. They called in advance for optional procedures and outlined every step of the process. I’m very grateful for their expertise and they are well worth the money.

I have a very nervous German Shepherd when it comes to cutting her nails and they desperately needed to be done. I took her there based on all the positive reviews and I wasn't disappointed! Although it definitely wasn't easy to do, her nails look great!

I was in town for the Marathon this past weekend and realized my Airbnb was two doors down from the studio. Stumbled upon their listing of free hot yoga classes on Saturday and my crazy brain thought…Why not??♂️ Despite competing a marathon just a couple hours before. Well I must say the instructor student did a fantastic job and help get a kickstart on my marathon recovery? Great staff and good energy from the class too! On my next trip to Milwaukee I will definitely be hitting up another session here!!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I started. But I have a neck issue and I wanted to try yoga as a final resort before recommended surgery. I started with a beginner pack trial run and was hooked immediately. I enjoy all the instructors and the timing of classes are great and inclusive. The studio is welcoming and is a great fit for beginners and yogis alike. Huge shout out to Sarah for her killer “sound tracks” she makes for each session! It’s so cool and really makes it fun!
Only yoga studio in Milwaukee that does 90 minute Bikram yoga classes multiple times per week. The heat, humidity, and positive energy I feel from this small studio and its instructors have me feeling energized and looking forward to the next time I get practice here again. All instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about yoga and health.
I had been seeing a chiropractor a few times per week for bulging disc issues for a few years. After a few months of regular practice here I no longer feel the need to go to the chiropractor nearly as much.

A true gem! I have never had a better experience. I always leave with a smile on my face, feeling completely new. With a long history of back problems and injuries I have tried a variety of places and people, and even living 800 miles away, Mike is always a must whenever I’m in town. You don’t just feel better, you understand what was wrong and finally feel like you have control over your body again. I can breathe again and know how to better condition my body not to return to that uncomfortable state. I couldn’t recommend this place enough.

I scheduled an appointment with Jay after my regular therapist left the area. Now, I'm wishing I had been going to Jay all along. My first visit was honestly the best massage I've ever had. I lost count of how many knots got worked out. Jay was friendly and professional, and he definitely knows his stuff. His studio is clean, open and inviting. I will definitely be back.

My husband and I received a gift card as a wedding gift about 3 ½ years ago. First of all, how incredible is it the gift card was good for 5 years! We ended up changing our honeymoon location and couldn’t use it until this trip. We felt so lucky. Second, Dee and Morgan were fantastic. Dee is fun and humorous, Morgan was more soft spoken but incredibly kind. Both gave very high quality massages during our couples massage. For $185 we had a 1 hour massage with aromatherapy, hot stones, hot towels, and perfect pressure. They asked us how the pressure was and gave us an opportunity to identify any problem areas. Will 100% be back on our next trip to Milwaukee!

Melissa puts so much care and intention into her work. She is so knowledgeable and gives me real answers to my many questions. I’ve had facials at some of the fancy spas but nothing comes close to the fabulous facials I receive at Nourish.
Lindsay is a magician! She is my go-to massage therapist in Milwaukee, for good reason. She is incredibly intuitive and can sense where you have knots and tension. When she finds it, it’s like she makes it her personal mission to release it from your body.
She is so thorough and diligent, and she’s relieved me of tension in places I didn’t even know I had it!
Highly recommend her for anyone who needs some muscle relief.

Hi! I was referred to Jessy from a mutual on Instagram after relocating to Milwaukee. I previously saw Jill with Meadowsweet and was apprehensive but eager to find a new massage therapist. Jessy was absolutely everything I could have hoped for. I am transgender nonbinary, and have a very physically demanding full time job. Jessy listened to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions and made accomodations for a more trauma-informed approach. I was relaxed, comfortable and overwhelmed with relief from a number of chronic symptoms and pain in my body. I highly recommend a full body massage with Jessy, I will be back soon.

I initially sought out care for a rotator cuff issue after an ortho surgeon suggested I move forward with surgery. I thought it was worth my time to try physical therapy first, and I'm very glad I chose VITA to assist with the issue. I worked with Brad and Andy for almost 3 months and with their expertise and encouragement on my not-so-good days, the issue has resolved. I have had to seek out PT care throughout the years and have been to facilities here in Milwaukee as well as around the country. This truly is the best I have come across. They offer individualized care and have a wide arsenal of techniques to make you well. I have seen all ages and fitness levels here too and never have felt out of place. Everyone who works at VITA seems to have a lot of knowledge and are always pleasant including the front desk employees. The insurance billing process has been good too. I have had such a good experience that I have now signed up for some personal training, and I look forward to a stronger me in the future. If you're on the fence about seeking out PT care or improving your fitness, I highly recommend VITA for everyone!
