Got a brow wax, haircut and beard trim last night by the most wonderful Master Barbette; Josepha. I felt compelled to write a review to let people know about this very sleek and modern Men's Barbershop, but also a little about the service I received.
The prep and aftercare of the brow wax made for a painless and red-free skin afterwards. The haircut was meticulous, and all done with a scissor and feather styling razor; adding texture and layers to my mid-length haircut. Lastly, the beard trim was the cherry. Josepha worked her shears like she was chiseling my beard from a solid piece of marble. Such precision, such care, and made it look effortless. Truly an artist.

I've been a Groom client for just over 11 years and although my barbette for the past 10 years has moved on, I will continue to be a Groom client. One of the many benefits of Groom is that all of their barbers are consummate professionals. I'm happy to say that Ashley is my new barbette and the transition has been seamless. They have their own parking lot which for the Third Ward is a huge advantage over other salons where you have to rely on street parking. Groom offers an upscale atmosphere, a dedication to the craft, and providing expert advice focusing on client satisfaction.

Carly is the best I have seen her for close to 10 years now and always enjoy the great service and her awesome personality. We always have a good laugh and I feel better every time I leave Groom and see her. Highly recommend!
