I didn't ruin it completely). I purchased the parts I needed, and brought the machine back. Within 24 hours, (the real 24-hours, and not a business 24-hour time period), Michael had it running like new! They ended up not being needed, but we all know Windows .. it likes to be persistent in its recommendations.
