So I always struggled to find a good eye brow threader. However, I’ve been coming to this place for an entire year! Usually, the owner does my eyebrows and she’s so good. Today around 6:00pm (04/20/2024) another lady did my eyebrows and she did an AMAZING job!!!!!!!!! I’m so happy!!!!! This place is amazing and I travel from Woodbridge to get my eye brows done here and will do so for a long time. Great job ladies!

I was shocked at how quickly the whole project was completed and the level of professionalism from the whole crew was top notch. I have been going to this hair salon for many years now and love all of the stylists there but I recently got my hair done with Ritzwan and I am extremely happy with his work and my hair. Edit: Tammy is no longer there and has returned to her previous salon. I'm new to Avalon, but not new to Tammy. She's been doing my nails for years! I love how she makes them look so natural. I've always done gel nails but somewhat recently switched to dip and have been really happy with how well they hold up, even with a job that has me using my hands so much. So glad I listened to Tammy's encouragement! She does a wonderful job and knows when I want to chat and then recognizes the days when I just want to be quiet. Hands down great experience with Tammy!
There are many positives at this salon, first of all my technician, Monica, is superb at her job and caring, I give her 10 stars. The place is very clean with pleasant decor, 5 stars. However, there are not so great things. The pedicure chairs are very upright without a give and force your knees to bend quite a bit. This was particularly uncomfortable for me because I am recovering from a back injury, but even if I wasn't, I would like to be able to lean back or have a deeper chair to really relax. At check out there was a sign that 3.99% is added to the charge on a credit card, and it's the same if you use a debit card. I would have liked to known that at booking so I could bring cash. And lastly, there's a tip share policy, which I'm not crazy about because the tip amount is customers choice, based on the quality of the service and serves to reward a great service. A higher salary is the way to reward all your employees by the employer, not tip share.

Cardinal Plumbing was excellent while we were selling our home. Issues were found with our furnace during the inspection process and they came and evaluated possible issues in a quick manner.. There were a few suggestions of possible issues and they provided options for repair without forcing any one solution in a range of possible costs. Ultimately we made the decision to replace it prior to closing and we had a short window of time to get this completed. Pablo and his team worked quick to get this done so we could close by our scheduled date. We really appreciate everything they did for us and will recommend their services to everyone.

I had been dealing with a plumbing issue in my condo with my management company for over 10 days. Finally, on a holiday weekend, it reached a crisis point. I contacted my management company and they finally acted on a sunday to have a plumber come look at this situation Luckily they contacted Kiddco who is very familiar with this neighborhood. Corey called me and arrived within about an hour. When he arrived.I explained the situation and he got right to work. He took great pains to protect my carpeting and the kitchen floor. He worked efficiently and got it done, it's even can you adding an additional feature under the sink to make it easier to deal with the issue if it ever happened again. Corey was kind, and this is like but so much fun to work with and I truly appreciated him coming out on a holiday weekend to take care of my issue. I had the most amazing experience with Ayoub Carpet & Rug Care in Sterling. Five stars isn’t enough. A dog had severe accidents on my high-end rug. My desperate attempts to clean it made it even worse. I called Jimmy Ayoub, the president of the company. Jimmy personally stepped in to handle the delicate cleaning of my rug and the results were amazing. He explained how difficult it would be to get the rug cleaned in light of the specific fibers in this particular rug, but after two hand-cleanings and then the purchase of an additional specialized product to improve the end-result, the rug was almost like new. JIMMY SAVED MY RUG! It’s no wonder why Ayoub Carpet & Rug Care has such stellar reviews. The service was amazing from the top down. His pick-up and delivery team were so helpful and professional. I wish there were an option for 6 stars because that's what I would give David! He is an exceptional professional who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond for his customers. For those who have ever dealt with water damage and mold, you know it is an incredibly stressful situation that upends your life. So I wish we had met David under better circumstances, but I'm so glad we found him to do the mold remediation. His meticulous attention to detail, experience, and knowledge alone is enough to hire him, but in addition, he comes recommended by independent highly regarded mold testing/environmental professionals. In addition to all of the above, David is incredibly hard working and did everything he could to accommodate us. We have a lot of allergies in our family so David brought in an extra air scrubber and left all 3 air scrubbers with us to help us out during the re-construction process. He absolutely did not have to do that. He also didn't have to leave up the containment barrier for the re-construction phase, but he did. Because that is the kind of person he is! And because we were in such a bind, David put us in touch with folks to do the re-construction, etc. and helped us managed that process. He also answered ALL our questions promptly, even after he had completed the job. I do not frequently give such glowing reviews, but I truly simply cannot recommend David highly enough! If you want someone who cares and won't treat you like a number AND will do an exceptional job, call David. He will go above the call of duty to help you out.

I’ve used this service for Handyman work in 2021 and cleaning my apartment this past June 2022. Patricia was great and very professional. Also the technician who service the drywall issue in my home was excellent. Today 8/8/22 I called to inquire about handyman services AND cleaning of my home which is about 5K of work to get it staged for sale. The lady who answered asked me what handyman work I needed and to text my name and phone (which is their normal routine) and someone would call me back. Because I have a lot of handyman’s work to be done I asked for a website or some type of visual of their services. She rudely cut me off and told me to just text her and then hung up on me. I called back and tried to explain the nature of my call, given the volume of work, and she hung up on me again. Disgusting! I’ll report this service.

From Daniel's first visit, looking into all the parameters that should be considered when going to refinish floors of two smaller rooms on the 3rd level, and recommending where to create the virtual "stop" so there will be minimal ability to realize what is old and what is new;
through the scheduling process that managed to take into account our travel and time constrain;
to the team that came to do the work and were all communicative, helpful and focused;
to the project itself, that was not without dust, but so well managed by the team that we could not feel it in the house;
to the job coordinator\manager that stopped by to see that the project is moving forward as expected;
to the final product, refinished floors in two rooms, that simply look amazing, and are a total match to the rest of the house!
And to top it all off, today, 4 days since project's end, I got a call from Daniel again to verify all is well and there are no surprises once it is all said an done.

This is an unusual review because I am not YET a customer of FCI. The architect designing our kitchen remodel met Resa when we were investigating Marmoleum. I panicked when the contractor appeared to be doing a poor job with the installation. I called Resa to see if she had any suggestions or whether i needed to find someone else to install. She was going to be in our area and offered to stop by and see the space and the product. In just a few minutes she was able to assure me that all was not lost and that it could be fixed. She gave me the confidence to find the installation video on line, send it to the contractor with the request that he watch, and then when he returned, i insisted he take up the first attempt and start over. Tonight the floor looks great and I'm really pleased. I can't thank Resa enough for her interest in my success even though i was not her customer. This is a special quality and because of that i will definitely start my next flooring project with FCI. It's a good company to know about.
Fred went over and beyond to make sure we could have our carpet ordered and installed in time to sell our home. Fred even offered to show us carpet they was less expensive and same quality wherein he could have just let us order the carpet we first picked and make more money. Paul, the owner, and Mason and Gary, the crew that did our garage reno, are great people to work with. I got quotes from 3 garage specialists in the DC area, and to be honest, Garage Living was the most expensive, but just barely so. However, Paul was the lowest pressure of the 3 -- the other 2 companies were very pushy and were going for an upsell -- whereas Paul was willing to work with me within the budget I set. The quality of materials Garage Living used were also significantly better than the competitors (made-in-Canada aluminum shelving/cabinets vs. made-in-China MDF from the competitors). The crew was very punctual during the reno, made sure to text me each morning and evening when they were arriving, when they left, what was left to do, and when to expect them the next day. All in all, the results were worth every penny. We added overhead storage, a poly-coated floor, a slatwall on one side, and built in metal cabinets and workbench. In both of these photos, there is the same amount of stuff -- but you judge the results.

I can't thank Enterprise enough for their fast work, attention to detail, and steadfast dedication in turning bathrooms that were 15+ years old into something I can be proud of. Putting aside the catharsis of having people tear out the old bathroom (without damaging anything else), one of the real highlights was when they found a small hole in the slab under my bathtub and quickly came up with a solution for the problem in mere minutes. And that's not even getting into the joy of being able to take a shower without random dripping sounds (thanks to them replacing some old pipes) or other oddities left over from the construction efforts of yesteryear. Bravo, Enterprise!

It was a pleasure working with Sunburst. They were very clear on quote and never hide anything from me. What ever price was quoted it remained the same by end of the project. Sunburst took care county approval and provided all the designs which my HOA needed.

I was shocked at how quickly the whole project was completed and the level of professionalism from the whole crew was top notch. Since then, DPS has renovated my bathrooms and kitchen, replaced and refinished my hardwood floors, replaced all interior and exterior doors, installed new vinyl plank flooring throughout my lower level, removed old paneling and replaced it with dry wall, installed beautiful built-in bookshelves, cabinets, computer work area, and a closet, and replaced my old deck and patio with an expanded, beautiful, and low-maintenance version. I have been with Fox pest control for a couple of years now. During the summer we always end up with a nest of Yellow jackets. Joshua came out twice this week to make sure he remedied our almost annual nest of nasty yellow jackets. We have a maintenance contract with them. I cannot recommend the company enough. I recommend Kane Landscapes with the absolute highest rating! I met Josh Kane in 2009 when we lived in McLean and had just installed a 35K gallon freeform pool in our backyard. We hired him to landscape the backyard, build a pool house, and install a stone retaining wall and pavers around the pool. Everything turned out so beautifully that we hired him again 15 years later when we moved to Alexandria and built a new home. This time we needed two stone retaining walls, as well as landscaping for the front, back, and side yards. We consistently have neighbors asking us what kind of grass we planted, what trees and shrubs are blooming, what kind of pavers we used, etc. This is all due to Josh’s team doing their job so well.
Josh was excellent about listening to what I wanted and then finding a way to deliver exactly that. I am very detail-oriented and he did not disappoint. But if you have no idea what you want to do, he is also a fantastic resource to bounce ideas off of, or you can ask him what he thinks and you can make decisions that way. He has a great deal of knowledge about local flora and will suggest plants and trees that will thrive in our area. He has good contractors on his team and if anything goes wrong, he is quick to address it. He’s also great about answering questions post-project. You can tell he loves what he does and I would trust him completely with any future landscape project.
Bautista Landscaping has been doing our lawn for several years now. We were recently out of state for an extended period and our flower beds and trees/bushes were out of control overgrown with weeds. We called Bautista and they came right out and did an excellent job weeding and trimming the trees and bushes. They do quality work and do the job for a reasonable price.
Meridian Landscaping did a fantastic job with a full backyard renovation. As part of the scoping and pricing process, they provided a walkthrough and a detailed video showcasing the expected final result. Once the project began, the lead and designer made near-daily visits to ensure everything was progressing as planned and adhered to the specifications.
A standout aspect of their service was their flexibility; when we requested additional tree removal and patio expansion during the project, they accommodated these changes seamlessly without causing any delays. The crew was professional, courteous, and maintained a clean work environment throughout. The project was completed on schedule, and the end result exceeded expectations. HEMAX Construction Services and Landscaping provided excellent customer service, pricing, and final results. Per a neighbor’s recommendation, we reached out to HEMAX for a quote. HEMAX offered a reasonable proposal for clearing several above ground stumps and the overgrown vegetation’s underground roots, scraping and regrading the sloped topography to flatten but maintain proper drainage, and installing new fescue sodding of our large side yard. Despite a couple customer increased-scope change orders, the project manager, Henry, patiently and expeditiously provided expert advice for accomplishing the desired result and submitted reasonable invoice updates. Once the 2-day project began, Henry, the work crew, and required equipment started on time every day, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up at the end of the day’s work. The company exceeded our expectations in the quality of the final project, the thoroughness of the crew from beginning to clean up, and their professionalism in communicating and scheduling. We will absolutely call them first for any future projects.
Absolutely amazing experience with Fine Landscapes. We have used them on multiple projects at 2 houses over the last few years, and their work has always been incredible. Their designs are really amazing. They captured exactly what we wanted, where others just offered us standard off the shelf solutions. The workmanship is super in every way, from the hardscape through the plants, the stone work, tile, paving, everything is great Their people are a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and very flexible if we wanted any changes. Dr. Emmanuel S is simply the best. He has been both of my kids dentist for years now and his caring nature, patience, and thorough diligence has been nothing short of outstanding. Dr. Skordalakis is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with both my kids. Connect First Family Chiropractic came highly recommended to me by a friend. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was asked if I had a preference for a specific chiropractor. I replied that I didn’t have a particular preference, but I wanted someone who was good with children. I was scheduled with Dr. Dan Traxler, and my first appointment was very pleasant. He took a thorough intake of my daughter and explained the practice’s views and the steps he would take during the treatment.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Traxler for over a month now, and I can say that every visit has been positive. He is incredibly friendly and thorough, and whenever we discuss my daughter’s progress, he expresses excitement and continues to provide excellent care. Dr. Dan always asks if I have any questions, but I don’t have any because he’s so thorough and I’m very confident in his work. I’m also beyond happy with the improvement in my daughter. I sprained my ankle not too long ago, and when I came to an appointment, Dr. Dan expressed his concern for me, which was very thoughtful. He even gave me some exercises to try. He’s truly a genuine and wonderful professional practitioner.
The front staff is also amazing; they are always so nice and friendly. I've yet to see any of the other practioniers but I just know that they are amazing because Connect First has a truly welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Working with Dr. Ratcliffe has been a completly new experience for me in the medical field. As someone with a confusing or less clear diagnosis, he has shown himself to be open minded and believe me when I express my symptoms instead of guessing or immediately throwing a diagnosis on it. For the first time I have been able to see actual progress and improvement on my health. I am currently still on the diet that has been prescribed after running tests, and I have been determining how to monitor and further improve my autoimmune disease symptoms with Dr. Ratcliffe as I go. I appreciate his support and concern in his patients. His knowledge and commitment has allowed me to make the most progress in my health journey thus far.

I’ve been going to Dr. Knapp for almost two years, thanks to a friends referral. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders/upper back and every time I go for a visit, I notice a difference. My visits have helped take away a lot of the tightness and soreness I’ve experienced, and the Dad jokes are just an added bonus. After months of PT sessions, he had me walking, practically running out of his office. It was amazing to have my confidence back. I was and still am highly impressed by him. I needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. Dr Valentino was so empathetic and caring.
Dr Mitchell and her team are just fabulous! She came highly recommended by my friends and colleagues, many who have been with her since she opened Animal Medical Center. She is very methodical in her approach to everything (rather than people who say you need every test on the sun) and Dell was so relaxed being AT a vet's office he fell asleep on the tile floor!
WE got test results in under 24 hours and were able to schedule a necessary ultrasound (recommended by previous vet; didn't want to take him to VCA) within a weeks time.

I went to Moonlake recently because it is very convenient to where I live. I have had many massages over the years and this was one of the best. The massage therapist was very friendly and professional - she adjusted the pressure when asked. All in all - it was a great, relaxing massage at a great price. I will definitely be coming back.

I recently came for a deep tissue massage because I had pain in my shoulder blade for 2 weeks. The pain is gone now after the massage. I also accidentally forgot my tiffany necklace. Incredible massage ?♂️ absolutely amazing!I do wish the rooms were enclosed because the masseuses talk to each other and I hear all the noise in the mall back ground so I can not really relax. The price is good. Atmosphere is ok. Massage is 5 stars all day long.

After a session of brutal ab exercises with Kelly and Jenn, my low back pain disappeared. I had forgotten what a good back felt like until I drove away from the session and noticed that my back wasn’t tight, it just felt good.
