This place has a great relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Nikki Vabraidesigner, in suite 7, is very professional and accommodating. She is an exceptional braider and great at her craft. She makes sure you leave, satisfied and loving your hairstyle. I've been dealing with her for several years now and will continue going to her for my braids. My daughter even comes down from Northern Virginia to get her hair done. She is highly recommended by me and my girls.

I am extremely pleased with the braiding service that I received on today. I called the shop Monday afternoon and was sitting in her chair on Wednesday morning. She was patient and gentle with my hair and edges. The shop is extremely clean and there’s plenty of parking on both sides of the shop. The hospitality was top notch and I’m a lifetime customer now. Genuinely the best experience I’ve had at a salon. The space is cozy and super well-kept, and the staff? Absolutely incredible. I got the acrylic set shown in the photos below (not posting pics of my feet, lol) along with a pedicure. Both turned out beautifully. The precision on the line work was insane—so clean and detailed. She worked quickly and efficiently, and I left beyond pleased with my nails. I can’t wait to come back… and if you're thinking about it, you definitely should too!

I came in without an appointment as a walk-in around 2pm for a fill and pedicure. I was immediately greeted by Tatiana & Z, they were both with clients and I knew there would be a wait which was no issue. I am a diabetic so I have to be super careful where I go for my services and this salon does everything according to State Board - very clean and sanitary. I was honestly impressed. My fingers and toes look & feel amazing, I simply cannot wait to go back in 2 weeks!

Honestly this spa has to be one of the best locations to visit when it comes down to availability and how great they are at relieving the tightness of my muscles from my lower back up to my neck. I Have gotten massages many other places and it has never lived up to the experience I envisioned. Well not this time, Cassidy far exceeded my highest hopes. Sometimes with services like this it can feel like they're just going through the motions, but I could tell Cassidy was paying attention to every detail and adjusting for my personal needs. I had an active leak in some of my interior pipes that I was unable to get another company to take care of quickly. I called Stemmle and they had a team out to my home in about an hour. They called me en route to confirm the details of the job and to try to ensure they had all the needed parts on hand. I received a quote and they performed the work quickly. They were friendly, explained what they were doing, and answered my questions.
Very responsive and reliable if you are in need of rapid assistance. It was not the cheapest repair, but that is definitely less of a priority when you need something fixed immediately.

Nate came by today to hardwire a double oven and add some appliance outlets. He discovered what had been done by another company was not done correctly. He and his assistant connected the oven ( no easy task) and fixed everything. Nate was exceptionally pleasant to work with and I think their prices fair. We've worked with a number of contractors over the years and he is by far the most professional and knowledgeable around. He was also very considerate and a good team lead. If you're looking for an electrician for quality work choose Gault Electric.

11 Jun 26 New review. Just had Matt and Nick come to my house and disconnect old baseboard heaters and add an additional outlet outside. As with the first review, they are always prompt and very efficient. Work was completed and couldn’t be happier. Even explained everything they did and asked and insured I had no further questions. March 2026 - UH just finished installing this amazing hardscape space. They live up to their name and truly blew our vision out of the water. This space was finished in 5 working days. The crew was wonderful and so CLEAN. They picked up all debris at the end of each day, scraping rock off the road and out of my grass.
The owner, delivers exactly what he says he will, and made the entire process so easy. He quotes everything based off sq footage, so you don't need to go in knowing what color/stone you want. We signed our contract before we even went to the show room to pick out materials.
We were nervous about not damaging our beautiful maple and they did an excellent job grading and protecting the tree.
Cannot say enough about this company. Hire them. You will not be disappointed.

I got five bids for my roof replacement. Herb came out and was great to talk to. I'm no roofer, but I have done a ton of research in the last year or so leading up to this project. Herb was the only one of five to point out the necessity of drip edge and proper ventilation. To me, this says a lot about the roofing industry. Many many contractors will happily take your $10k+ and install a roof that will last 1/3 as long as it could if installed properly. Proper intake and exhaust venting is critical, silicone boots, galvanized nails, competently flashed chimney, and other little things need to be done correctly so that the roof lasts as long as possible. Herb was clearly in favor of installing the best possible roof.
Colony worked with my budget and I gave them the job. Herb even suggested another shingle color from the one I thought I wanted. This turned out to be a great pick which I love. He also didn't badmouth one shingle maker over another, and was willing to install any of the quality brands on the market.
They worked diligently all day, and when I arrived home from work, everything was getting buttoned up and they were starting to clean. They spent more than an hour cleaning up, and I have only found one nail that they missed. Overall, they did an excellent job on the install. Everything is so neat and clean, valleys look perfect, little touches like painting the vent stacks just helps the roof look even more sharp. It was a cold day, and got dark quickly, yet these guys managed to get everything right and did a great job cleaning up and limiting disruption to the neighbors.
Cannot say enough good things about my experience. I will be recommending them to anyone in need of a roof or major home improvement project.

As clients of Commonwealth exterminators for almost 20 years, we have relied on your team for consistent pest control, but Kaz’s recent actions went far beyond the scope of normal service, potentially saving our home from irreputable damage. During a recent visit to address our water bug problem, she demonstrated remarkable professionalism and a keen awareness that proved invaluable. While she was conducting her thorough inspection, she detected a slight gas fume originating from the furnace in the attic. Kaz immediately recommended investigating this unusual observation while determining the source of the water bug issue, a suggestion that turned out to be critical. Upon further inspection with the gas company and HVAC specialist, they confirmed that our heating and cooling system had a gas leak due to a faulty control valve. Had Kaz simply completed the standard pest control assessment without this level of detail and genuine concern, we would have remained unaware of this dangerous and damaging gas leak. Her conscientiousness prevented what could have been a catastrophic situation and we are incredibly thankful for her alertness and diligence. Beyond this life-saving intervention, Kaz provided the best Pest Control service we have experienced in two decades. I love this bus so much. Besides the novelty of it being a buss, the staff inside are amazing.
I have a cavity they had to drill in the bottom back molar of my mouth. The doctors were able to numb me up so much I almost fell asleep while they had the drill inside my head because I felt absolutely nothing. That takes some serious skill!
Not saying I'm going to go out and seek cavities but the fear of such dental procedures going forward has been reduced tremendously, and it didn't break the bank to achieve!

I had the best experience at Dr. Foretich’s office!!! I recently moved into the area, and finding a general dentist was tough. Pair that with some dental anxiety due to not being to the dentist in a while and the whole process felt impossible.
They were able to get me in way quicker than any other office on the peninsula that I had called. And then, when I arrived for my appointment, I was treated with compassion and respect.
Despite not being to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time, Dr. Foretich didn’t make me feel bad about it and always made sure that I was doing well during the cleaning.
This office is amazing in so many ways, and I am so excited to be able to come back for my regular cleanings.

Dr. Taylor and the front office staff are absolutely wonderful! The front office staff helped me get everything set up and squared away for my newborn's first appointment, and Dr. Taylor was very kind, informative, and answered every question we've had. He helped us feel much more confident as first time parents. The same goes for Dr. Griffiths. He helped us understand quite a few things like weight loss/gain, feeding and sleeping, and even the mild oozing from the umbilical cord as it falls off.
Everyone here is wonderful and really helped us feel much more at ease. I definitely recommend this pediatric office!
Before visiting Rebound I did extensive research on chiropractors. I wanted a doctor that would hear my concerns and not treat me as a number. Dr Holmes exceeded my expectations with his professionalism and plan of action. I was in a car accident a few months ago and was nervous about getting adjusted and the risks that come with it. I went from a young gym goer to a person that would have to modify daily movements and motions. What a relief after just a few visits. Im still in the recovery stage but feel more at ease knowing I have a chiropractor who wants me to be better. From the moment I stepped into the office I felt welcomed. The front desk ladies are so personable and treat you like family. They offer complimentary coffee, tea, lemonade and cookies made to order. I have seen the doctors replenish themselves and not leave it to the office staff to handle. You can tell they enjoy their job. I enjoyed my experience that much that I referred my mother who has been dealing with chronic back pain to Dr Holmes as well. I believe with his direction he will have both of us on our feet and moving without issues sooner than later. I truly trust Dr Holmes’s, his expertise and encouragement every visit.

After a car accident, both my daughter and husband went to Charney Chiropractic. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly and thorough. Starting with a consult, x-rays and a one on one sit down review of the findings and plan of action with allllll the questions our hearts desired to weekly appointments until the final x-rays revealed corrections of the issues.
Donna greeted me as I walked in. Explained I have TMJ on both sides of my jaw. She was professional and the office has a comfortable setting. Yesterday my one side had gotten locked where I couldn’t open my mouth. Matt did a thorough look over my stand and immediately knew I had a hip higher than the other. He adjusted my hip and back!!! Matt also took care of my jaw. I was able to open and close my mouth and walk out with an adjustment on both problems! Matt is excellent.

Walker has had a very rough first year of life — parvo at just 4 months old, kennel cough, pneumonia — and he is alive because of the team here. Their quick action, knowledge, and dedication truly saved him.
Last night, I ran in quickly to pick up medication and left Walker in the car since I was only going to be a minute. Dr. Lee and two of the techs came running out with me just to see him and check on him after his neuter surgery. That meant more to me than they probably realize. They genuinely love him, and it shows in everything they do.
The care, compassion, and attention Walker receives here is phenomenal. I am beyond grateful to have found a team that treats my dog like their own.

We finally found our groomer! I frequently pet sit for my best friend and decided to give the Foxy Roxy team a try after a bad experience at another salon where I took my friends dog, so this was a corrective groom. The groomer was so caring and sweet with our dog. She listened to all of our concerns and I felt very comfortable leaving her with them. She looked adorable when we picked her up and we will definitely be returning. So glad we found them!

The hot yoga flow class is great. I am not from the area but travel here every year once or twice. I take at least one class here when I visit. The studio, locker room, restrooms are clean and well maintained. Bill was the teacher in the last class I took. He is a good teacher and helped me with my form in some of the poses. If you haven't tried a hot yoga flow class here you should.
I began with Pilates Etc a few years ago at the recommendation of my doctor due to back issues.I quickly learned that Pilates is serious exercise and I was able to avoid planned back surgery.Pilates Etc is the best!!!

I recently visited Healthy Touch Therapeutic Massage and had a really good experience. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and professional throughout my visit. Dana has her client's best interest at heart. I'm bummed when I have to skip an appointment due to my scheduling conflicts.

It was my first scheduled massage and I was nervous about what to expect but the masseuse was so aware of the slightest discomfort and communicated with me. the music helped with relaxation and we were greeted by ice cold water in the end if our session. great tip for great service! definitely be going back soon. thank you! sensory info: the atmosphere was pleasant with light white noise in the back ground. rooms are dim but not dark. doors are curtains. the couple Swedish used warm essential oils and hot stones. Essential oil weren't strong in smell. make sure to communicate sensory concerns. its warm and i had no issues with the temp. Lastly, remember to do all that breathing work through the experience! It really helps ease the anxiety and get a deeper better massage. Enjoy!

During the initial intake she was very thorough, she spent an extensive amount of time to gather information about my health, previous surgeries and mental condition. She specializes in many holistic treatments as well. I am very satisfied with my treatments, the open communication and attentiveness Ms. JoAnn provides. I will continue services with her. We have loved our time at Adler Therapy in Newport News. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing Ms. Shannon has been. She’s seen my daughter and son for the past 1.5 yrs and the difference between when we started to now is astounding. Her attention to what each of my kids loved and how she worked with each of their unique personalities always left me impressed. My kids loved going to see her each week and were sad to graduate. They wanted to continue. That’s how amazing she is! I would highly recommend Ms. Shannon.
We have also been very impressed with Ms. Devon as my daughter’s Occupational Therapist. She has such a calm presence and is so creative. She could always recenter my daughter and draw her into activities whenever she was having a withdrawn day. It was so important to us that my daughter was encouraged into activities instead of pushed into them because she shuts down in those types of situations. Ms. Devon did an amazing job meeting her where she was. I would highly recommend her.

I started coming a few weeks ago and in that short time, I am walking and moving better than I did when I was a teenager and I am in my mid forties You definitely get out what you put in, but they make it so much easier to put in the effort when they walk you through the process and encourage you to take care of yourself! Being a person of size, I tend to be sensitive about my weight, but they are not judgy or pushy, just kind and helpful!I have mostly worked with Tyler, but Darren has come in and assisted me a well.
