I usually do my hair with one hair stylist and he always gets my color right, so I don't risk in any other place. They are very honest to me and recommend treatments that will make my hair healthy and avoid damage. This past Friday I was treated like a queen, I got a free make-up, they offer snacks and coffee. I got a discount in my haircut as well. They always go above and beyond my expectations. Exceptional customer service and personalized experience!

I admired a stranger's haircut. She directed me to Fly Trimm so I decided to take a chance. I arrived at my scheduled time and was immediately seated for my appointment. Ryan, the stylist and owner, was professional and he carefully reviewed my request for the cut. He not only took his time, but gave me some suggestions and educated me on hair care. I went a few weeks ago now and just forgot to leave a review. But that is how amazing Chris is that I wanted to make sure I did. He is very personable with how he treats and talks to you. He actually made time for me during his off hours due to my tight schedule and it was my first time going. He is also very knowledgeable and I am still amazed at how he knew how to make my hair do its own work. Somehow he made my hair look like I got highlights with just his layering

I got my hair cut by David the older gentleman first time here. It felt comfortable and relaxed. The cut looked good price is on the higher side at ($30) compared to the Asian ones in flushing are much cheaper under $20 but this cut looks cleaner and professional. You get what you pay for. I likely will come back next time. Thank you.
Best barbershop in the Whitestone-bayside area. I get taken care of by Ariel and blesses my fades and his fades are legendary. Just explain what type of service you want and need and he will take care of you. During the course of the procedure, he is fun to interact with.
He is very very down to earth, friendly, and professional and Competent what he does. Upon completion of the cut, he provides a hot towel to clean up further and he ensures everything is squared away. Additionally, before Ariel gets started with his service with you, he offers any coffee from the start then game time.

Let me tell you guys something: I’ve been coming to this place since I’ve been going to Queens College, and I’ve tried many barbershops out there, but this place is always consistent, listens, and are friendly. Now, I’m a traveling physical therapist and have had to try different shops all around the country, but still doesn’t hold up the same quality as the barbers here. Make no mistake when you think that you won’t get great service from the family here. And… there’s my life story.

This was my second time going to this nail salon. I had Fanny do my pedicure and she did a stupendous job. My first pedicure and manicure was with Tatiana and she also did amazing. He got started as soon as I arrived and finished in less than 2 hours! I got Gel-X French tips and it was fast, efficient, and overall lovely. Not to mention, the nail techs here are the sweetest!! I just moved to Astoria a few weeks ago and was looking for a curl specialist when I found Michelle through a reddit thread. My first cut with her revived my curls and I don't dread washing my hair because of my tangles anymore. Later, I was feeling like I needed a little more volume and she truly delivered with small adjustments. You can tell her mind is seeing the vision before she even cuts your hair. It’s feels like I have found my hair stylist!

Today, 8/10/25 is my second time at Areya. My first time was 1/26/25. Regina, was personable and friendly as always. She, being a colorist among other things, took the time to explain why some colors would work and others, not so much. Went there today for a haircut and dye. I told her what I wanted and she delivered. Elena (sorry if I misspelled) did my hair from start to finish. I was there for a total of approximately 3 hours. They both made sure the color was even (and corrected when it wasn't) and what made it more special was that the color had different tones under various lighting. I was treated like a princess. I had a another wonderful experience here and am already recommending friends. The service is great. Thank you Regina and Elena.

We had the most incredible afternoon at their 48 W 28th street location in manhattan. I wanted to try out the hair spa and it was so luxurious. The service was very friendly, they did a a mini facial, face massage, head, arms, hands and shoulder massage and had those water halos for the hair spa portion. My hair feels so clean and soft and the massage was quite lengthy. Afterwards they blow dried my hair- 10/10 experience.
This place is great. It's very clean and the women that work there are lovely. I got a groupon to try out their facials. They upgraded my facial free of charge, I ended up buying a package which came out to around $60 per facial. Definitely book an early appointment because they seem to get a bit backed up layer in the day. They also have Parking which is a huge plus!

I first discovered Permanent Beauty years ago through a Groupon deal. Now, I keep coming back during Sunnyside Salon & Spa Weeks because the deals are too good to pass up! The place itself doesn't exactly feel like a luxurious spa but more like a low-key, tucked-away spot. The staff's English is limited, so communication is simple and to the point, but honestly, it works just fine. Most importantly, they do excellent facials, and that's what keeps me returning.
Today I had a Biologique facial with Paula and have to say it was one of the best facials I’ve ever had! Paula is very thorough and knowledgeable about the products and the Biologique techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed my facial and can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend Paul, she’s a star!

HIGH KEY RECOMMEND! Decided to use my ClassPass because I had a whole bunch of credits I haven’t used yet from last month. Came here for my full Brazilian wax and it was one of the best waxes I truly ever had and I’ve gone to many places in many states for ten years now. I wish I got the name of my waxer but she looks well seasoned in her technique! I’m used to my eyes watering and wincing sometimes from the pain but she was very sweet and gentle and thorough!!! I even warned her before she began that I might make a noise or jump so don’t mind me and she said if I need a break let her know but I didn’t a need a break once, even during the wax she made sure to ask and I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. They're hygienic. I didn’t see double dipping or anything like that. Overall, I found my new wax place! Probably won’t use class pass next time as it’s only $50! I’ll definitely be back!

Minnie is great- this is an intimate salon, only two chairs at a time. My appointments were both staggered so that I was the only client for most of the appointment time. I don't get lash extensions often but this has been the best experience yet- no irritation at all. Have had a few lashes fall off after a week but my natural lashes are still intact.

I decided yesterday to get my first tattoo at 65 y.o. Rachel was able to give me an appointment earlier today. She was gentle and thorough and the tattoo was exactly what I requested (taken from a card given to me by my favorite actor/musician). She explained each step and provided detailed aftercare instructions for someone with an autoimmune system. The place was empty when l got there but I could see how it could get pretty busy. It was well lit and clean. If I get another one I will certainly go back to her.

We had another plumber come in to do other work and clear a slow drain. They left their snake in the pipe. We called Rainshaw to get this fixed. He came was very personable and professional. He said that we had a few options. I chose to do whatever it took to remove the snake. He worked effectively and efficiently and was able to get the snake out without needing to replace any of the plumbing. He was also able to clear the clog Now the drain is operating properly. Highly recommend them.

50 gallon hot water heater died after 20 years of service. Woke up to no hot water and a slow but steady drip from the tank. Vuksani answered promptly, quoted me a fair price based on pics I sent, showed up within a couple hours and had the job finished in just over an hour after arrival. They left the space clean and tidy, too. Definitely recommend

I have a large city owned tree in front of my house. I call companies yearly to snake my sewer line to prevent backups into my home. For the past 2-3 years I've had 2 backups per year- this was abnormal. After my last back up I decided to call another company to clear my backup. I was told that its soap grease. I'm not a plumber but if this is the case, there would be flooding all over NYC. I then decided that I wanted someone to look in my sewer line and check for any obstruction. I called other companies and I was quoted $1,500 to have a video of my sewer line done...ridiculous and unaffordable. Then I found Will Do Plumbing and I was given an affordable alternative...photos. I was able to watch the plumber go through my sewer line and view the video as it was being done and take photos . The roots were thick and took up half of the pipe circumference. They were able to pin point the location of the two invasive roots from this city owned tree. I walked with them outside and they showed me the areas that had blockage. I rescheduled another appointment with Will Do Plumbing to have these root branches taken care of and the price was less than the $1,500 I was quoted by other companies to just have a video taken. My experience from my initial appointment call to the office, the plumbers showed up on time both times, they were very respectful of my home and discussed with me everything there were doing. I got one of those mean 3 day notice from DEP for a broken water main in the street and I was on the hook to get it repair. Len matched a lower price I received from another company and got the work done very fast. This company should be your first choice if faced with a large water main / sewer job.

Jose is the best exterminator I have ever worked with. He was just at my apartment yesterday, and took care of everything. With the recent invasion of raccoons in Brookly and Queens, we were faced with a major problem. Mr. Derrick came out responded quickly and was able to capture these creatures/pests. He is very professional and takes pride in his work. He also had a sense of humor which makes a scary situation more comforting when he is handling God's creatures ( as he calls them).

This review is long overdue - Dr. Naegele is the best. I am a patient with dental anxiety, and when I first went to see him in 2021, I hadn't been to the dentist in years. He is kind and thorough in explaining things, and does not jump to any invasive conclusions without exploring all options. One of his hygienists, Michelle, is just as wonderful. She is patient with my accommodation requests (as is the whole office), and has a calming presence. Bobbi is wonderful too - she is meticulous and was a reassuring voice for a new patient. I am so grateful for Dr. Naegele and his team, because they have made it possible for me to take care of my teeth with consistency. Thank you!

really enjoyed Dr. Abrankian’s work. He is an excellent doctor and has helped me improve my back and neck pain tremendously. Although I am still working to better my posture I have experienced a huge amount of growth and progress since I have started attending Abrankian Back and Neck Center. I was unsure at the beginning if I was going to feel better, however shortly after the first couple adjustments I started to notice a difference. (In sitting, sleeping, and standing) The staff and doctors are both very kind and supportive throughout each part when you walk through the door to when you walk out. They make sure all your needs are being met such as making sure you are set with an appropriate appointment time and if you ever need a foot rest when stimulants are being placed. I find this to be very helpful and kind as it shows their dedication to making sure patients feel comfortable and that they are able to be treated at a time that works best for them. They also have excellent music for patients to listen to while waiting to be seen. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has been struggling with this issue and needs help to improve their pain.

I started last march as a new patient. Fast Foreward over one year plus now. I have never felt better in my life. Dr Syat and Dr Siegel both have their own techniques and I at first was going twice a week now after all of their help and awesome adjustments I’m going now every two weeks and I have been doing very well. Dr Syat and Dr Siegel truly care about the patients that come to their office. I have my wife coming to them and she feels the same way. The two front desk girls Julia and Juliana are very nice and always are very accommodating when calling for an appointment. The bottom line Whitestone Chiropractic is the place to go and I would not think of another office.

I have now been going to Dr. Simonetti for 7 months and the difference in my neck, back, and upper mobility has greatly improved. When I miss an appointment my body definitely feels it. She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! First met her in 2023 for a second opinion on my older dog's knee a few weeks after moving to the neighborhood. She made time to see my dog same day and gave excellent advice and referrals to a fantastic vet surgery practice in Brooklyn. I immediately started coming to CityVet first for everything.
In early 2024 she made a quick second diagnosis that another vet at her practice had missed, then performed the needed minor surgery on my dog herself with excellent results that immediately cleared up the issue.
Front desk is generally very responsive in person and over email, most recently going out of their way to follow up multiple times when PetSmart kept botching my flea/tick approval and helped me switch to Chewy.

Great vet for standard check ups. Dr. Kirk is great and the staff are amazing - they truly love animals. Only wish their hours were extended; I have to call off work to bring my dogs here, and there’s always a long wait even with an appointment.
This little guy was peeing blood. And constantly leaking stanky fluids, amongst other issues.
Took him to 2 other vets spent a ton of money and the problem would reoccur. Came to Glendale vets and the staff was super friendly, helpful and funny. Made me feel at ease as we were able to joke a little during a tough time for me. I really thought I was gonna have to put him down. After 13 years with him. So I was in a bad place. Either way, Mr Fidel CatStro, (that’s my furry friend If you didn’t figure it out) left there with no more issues. And 3 months later. He is actually more friendly then he was prior to his visits with this vet and safe to say he back and living his best life. Thanks guys. Really appreciate your work. !!

Damia and her practice are wonderful. Being new to reiki, she was incredibly helpful, patient, and detail oriented of explaining how the practice works and what to expect. Our intention setting and conversation really helped me understand the work better. The session felt like a dream overall, although I was very present. Her intuitiveness is really remarkable. Immediately after the session when we spoke, waves of energy started pulsing through my body. Discussing the experience from her perspective and mine was helpful. Days after our session I am feeling the benefits and would highly recommend scheduling a session with her.

Had a Vinyasa session with Ian today. I've only tried yoga twice about 10 years ago so was feeling a little nervous about it but it wasn't so bad even as a beginner! The class was great and time passed by quickly. I wasn't sure about some of the poses but Ian explained as he went without it interrupting the flow of the class.

If you have never had a stretch session and you are anything like me, you're going to have e to learn to give in. The whole thing rests upon your relaxed body and giving control over to Laura. After a few moments I kinda got the hang of it. Though I'd resist (not on purpose) Laura was kind and patient. I will say prepare to breathe deeply cause you will feel some of those stretches (you will appreciate it after, trust me).
The sound bath was lovely. She really know how to bring out a beautiful sound. I was a little toooo relaxed as I fell asleep for a moment. Lol.
I was given a little homework to do for my ankles and calves where she noted the most tension. Which i appreciated.

My right shoulder was becoming useless. His method of electrified needles, heat lamp, cupping, and massaging have helped enormously, and I actually look forward to seeing him. He also has a calming personality that contributes to a pleasant all-around experience. And I used to be skeptical about acupuncture. Not any more.

Really great acupuncture service. I was asked about my medical history and advised on the right pressure points for the same. The therapist made me very comfortable and put me at ease even as I was nervous since it was my first time getting an acupuncture treatment. Dr Lott and his staff are awesome. I came to him with tremendous back pain due to 2 herniated disks. I received steroids shots from pain management doctors but because of Dr. Lott, I am pain free. We are now focusing on other areas of concerns for me and so far it is going great. Dr Lott is a life saver.
I have been seeing Dr.Cho since 2019 coming all the way to flushing from Upper West side of Manhattan…because he is the best acupuncturist. Back in 2018, when my extreme stress from life events and child birth caused many health issues hypothyroid, highblood sugar, vertigo to name a few - some treated with western medication but rashes at night, extreme migraines & vomit, hard to breathe, vertigo etc…i couldnt find the cure and couldnt treat the symptoms. It dominated my life and i stopped working, too. Then i heard about Worlo from a friend on a business trip from Seoul who would go to Flushing to see him on one weekend she had in NYC.
I was desperate looking for any help to free me from constant pain and dizziness and decided to commute to Flushing to see if i can get help. Coming here for 2-3x a week for a couple of months, those symptoms were gone. Now I am a believer of acupuncture and whenever i feel not well (dizzy and nauseous), i come straight to see Dr. Cho before things get out of control/ taking longer to recover back to normal condition. He takes his time to assess the root cause of it all and does not rush .

I highly recommend you prepare for your road test from Sunflower. The instructors are super helpful and friendly. They encourage you to do your best and prepare you for the road test well. The price is also very reasonable, you won’t regret it.

I had over 10 years of driving experience in South Korea, but I still decided to take one lesson from this school before my road test—and I’m so glad I did. I took the one lesson and passed the test on the same day.
Even if you have prior driving experience, I highly recommend taking at least one lesson. The driving rules and expectations here are different, and examiners can deduct points for even small mistakes. Without that lesson, I’m sure I would’ve failed. It made all the difference!
Overall I recommend! Price is the best of any driving school in the area, and I ended up passing on the first try. Eric did a good job of instilling a renewed appreciation in the fundamentals of driving (I had a license once upon a time that has since lapsed).

I had a really good experience with Signature Driving School. Ms.Farah was really nice, patient, and made me feel comfortable while learning. She explained things clearly and helped me get better with each lesson. I passed my road test on the first try! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone learning to drive.
They helped child pass his driving exam!! It was a very simple process and he said that Zetty taught him everything very well and efficiently!! Would highly recommend going here when you need to get ready for your exam!
