I am in complete awe of the Laidbytima salon experience. For starters, you’re kindly greeted the moment you walk in - BY EVERYONE. You immediately feel welcomed by the smiles on the staff’s faces. The energy feels organic rather than forced. You’re asked if you’d like tea, coffee, or champagne along with snack options at no additional cost.
When it’s time to get in the chair, the staff takes their time to hear your requests and address any concerns you have. You’re asked if you’re tender headed prior to braiding so that they make sure to work on your scalp with proper care. The braids are the foundation to a perfect sew in and let me tell you - the braids are NOT tight but certainly hold together very well. First time getting a sew in where a headache wasn’t involved in the days to follow.
The sew in? Flat and slayed by magical hands. First time ever I get a sew in where I don’t get pierced by the needle at least once (I was and still am in disbelief).
Tima and her staff make conversations that allow the clients to feel included and heard. Nothing about this experience felt forced or transactional.
When booking a hair appointment I make sure I do thorough research, read reviews, check out client results, the whole nine, and I cannot express the times I’ve been disappointed by poor customer service and an unwelcoming atmosphere.

I have been training with Body by Berle for over a year now, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff is fantastic – professional, encouraging and always attentive to proper form. The workouts are only 30 minutes, but you feel the burn. They’re efficient, challenging, and designed to push you just the right amount.

This is the first time hiring a contractor to do work in my home. Can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the hard work Mike and his team did for me. I was worried that the washer and dryer
I ordered would not fit in the space provided and that all the work would not be done in time for the delivery of the units. Mike and his team did not disappoint. All the work was completed on a timely basis from the plumbers, electricians etc. Also, we had an issue with our bathroom sink while they were working in my house that was not part of the job and they were able to fix that for me. By delivery day all the work was completed and the team installed the washer and dryer, stacked as promised and ready to go. That evening I was able to catch up on doing my laundry. Can’t say enough good things about Mike and his team. I am very satisfied with his service and I’m sure I’ll be using them again in the future to do work in my home.

I had two total hip replacements. After going to a few of those Large PT establishments, standard procedure was to escort you to a non-private table amongst maybe 10 other patients who were there at the same time. You were met with different therapists each time and most were PT students. I was given apparatus such as rubber bands and balls where i worked alone . Sometimes they failed to come back and i would wait. My first encounter with Dr Acosta's office was over the phone -where I was met by his very kind and attentive Office Manager. She made my appt and checked my insurance credentials , while making me feel welcome and cared for. The next day, she verified my coverages and it was apparent made me feel that compensation did not trump care. What can I sat about Dr Acosta, he is the first therapist i have met that engages in Hands On therapy, working my leg with his help. He moved my leg and showed me how to get the most out of every exercise. Dr Acosta managed to pinpoint exactly where the root of my pain was stemming . Throughout my routine , Dr Acosta remained on hand to watch and made sure my movements were done correctly. Dr Acosta completely loves his work and when you leave, you feel personally cared for. I will wish I had known him earlier when I had my first hip replacement.The office only holds 3 patients at a time, so it's never crowded but he is BOOKED SOLID.There is also free parking. I cannot recommend Dr Acosta more highly.if you are seeking genuine hands-on care, give his office a call.

Tito is an Amazing Mechanic, he is extremely professional and very prompt. I called him to come replace my starter on a Saturday at 6 pm and he was there within the hour. He finished up in less than 45 minutes and was very helpful. saved my moms van from a brutal fate of calling a tow truck and then going to a mechanic. Will always call Tito if I need any help with my cars. Best honest mechanic I could find don’t hesitate to give him a call he will save your day!

Adding to my previous review: After a very good first experience with Bill and his company in 2024, I reached out when i had a different issue in early 2026. He talked through various options i had and the prices. After consulting with some other options i utilimately decided to use Bill & his team again as they provided very good & timely service for the gutter replacement & roof resurfacing that was required.

I love everything about this place- the treatment is very tailored and intentional; I started out my first session being extremely tense and in pain from a pinched nerve (hazard of being a violinist). I just had my 8th or 9th session the other day and am totally pain-free. The acupuncture has been a game changer. I highly recommend this place!

Arnold and his expert crew were able to successfully remove a large maple tree growing between our driveway concrete and a neighbor's 6'-high, vinyl privacy fence. They did the work efficiently and without any damage to driveway or fence even after using their massive stump removal tool. The fact that the price was more than reasonable was an added bonus!

Yesterday I took my 3 yrs old son to the barbershop yesterday to get a hair cut for the first time So we walked in and we spoke to the barber name Steve and he did a wonderful job on my son hair at first, I thought it wasn’t gonna go well because my son does not stay still for anybody to do his hair but when I saw him get into that chair, He cried a little bit but soon as he saw himself in the mirror, he was OK so I knew he was ready So I want to say Steve thank you very very much. I have been a patient of Dr. Hirshfield for about maybe 12 years and I think he is excellent anytime someone have a high problem or they need an eye doctor. I recommend him he has done both of my cataract surgeries. He has also a retina specialist in the office. That is awesome. I love this place! Got my dresses & coats back and they really do look fresh & clean like new! I was especially happy about a coat I asked to alter that I got from a yard sale. It fit perfectly and looked amazing! When I was getting ready to leave he even gave me free dresses to take home! From customers that haven't picked them up in over a year! I was so grateful! Will be coming back again. The guy even helped me to bring the clothes to my cat because they were really heavy. Such friendly owners. Please give them a visit and trust them with your clothes!

Amazing laundromat, before this laundromat I went to almost every laundromat possible in queens and they all said they can’t fix my bag. But this laundromat fixed it and for a very good price. This morning I went to Ed's Barber shop to get a haircut and a beard shape up. Boris did a fantastic job on my hair and my beard. I look human again. Boris. Forest took his time to make sure that my hair and beard looked the way I wanted it. He kept asking me. Is it okay? Do you want me to do something different? Are you happy with the way the beard looked extremely on point? Quit recommend it to anybody Boris. Keep up the good work and I would definitely come back to see you again. The doctor and receptionists provided a fine service. I bought two eyeglasses from them and they were great. The doctor did a more thorough examination and found that my left eye had blood vessels growing in a different direction suggesting a problem. It's good that she did that exam when she didn't have to.

Such a great place! The owner is a very nice woman who immediately welcomed us with a warm smile. My cousin and I booked massages with Sarah and Yenny, and they were fantastic. My therapist Sarah may be petite, but she is powerful! She found every single knot and deeply worked through the tension. My cousin was also super happy with her massage. Highly recommend this salon!
