Back story...
Back in Feb I went to evolution and that ended with damaged hair from the bleaching, chopped areas instead of blended, chunks missing color, and so much product left on it it left your hands gross, and even though I loved the pop of pink and purple from that time I couldn't stand my hair.

Best place ever. Arta doesn't use a drill on your nails for acrylics. Everything is clean and pretty. Lovely place where there is only one person at a time getting a manicure or pedicure . Plus her adorable puppies greet you ! My nails come out perfect every time. And stay healthy underneath. Which has never happened when I get acrylic nails. Love love love this place

I was just reflecting on my own living conditions. They did refuse to do my nails but who can honestly blame them

Kevin and his team did a great job, and they are open on Sundays! We called ahead for a late afternoon opening, and we were greeted warmly with water while they were still working on other customers. The area was clean, and they used gloves during my spa pedi. I really enjoyed the leg massage. 10/10 Will come back!

In October I had a very bad experience at a salon who damaged my hair beyond what I thought could t be repaired. I was depressed and insecure about my hair. I met Erica and scheduled a cut and botox and Erica made the experience comfortable amd the outcome looks amazing. Erica answered my questions and made my experience amazing. My hair looks amazing and feels amazing. I look forward to the continued treatment with her recommendation on the products I purchased and my continued visits with her to get my hair the way it should be. Update: I'm even more impressed with Antonio now! My 17-year-old hadn't had a cut in years, and he was very protective about the length of his curly hair. Antonio cut his hair very carefully and slowly, and explained how to manage and maintain all those curls. He was patient, kind, and humorous. He manged to keep most of the length, but now my son's hair looks much neater and more deliberate. I always think my kid looks great, but now he looks like a damn model! Thank you, Antonio :)
I've tried for years to get the right kind of shag/wolf cut for my hair, I've wanted something dramatic but always end up with mellow layers. Cynthia allowed me to send a video of what I wanted and pics of my current hair to get an idea of the texture, and she was able to pull off the cut I wanted! Cute little place too!

I couldn't recommend The Beauty Collective enough! They are located in Santa Fe but traveled to Albuquerque for my wedding. The service for the price is AMAZING! Brittani was my makeup artist and she was the sweetest. Super professional & relatable. Robyn was my hair stylist and she was the BEST! So funny & kind. She even helped me with chopping my hair for a 2nd look! They made the experience so easy. I could not be happier with the salon and Charlene. The salon is privately located, clean, professional and comfortable. Charlene listened to my skin care concerns, then recommended a course of treatment, thoroughly explaining how each procedure is conducted, expected results and the post treatment care. Boom! My liver spots are gone, mole is gone, fine lines are improved, my only regret is that I did not come here earlier. I will continue with "maintenance" treatments which are very cost effective. Long story short...I took offense to her tone and said cancel the appt. I then went on line and slammed her. I have read many great reviews over the years. I really like the vibe at Glow - House of Beauty and Pain. Ashley recently completed microblading/microshading my brows. She is a wonderful aesthetician with an artistic eye. Her work on my brows was meticulous and I am just delighted. If you are considering permanent make-up for your brows, you'll find yourself in good hands with Ashley.
We booked a couple's massage on 4/23. Amy and Karin were exceptional therapists and definitely recommended. They listened to each of us and checked in regularly.
The treatment room itself was fine but the locker rooms were showing their age. Additionally, there was no dressing table in the women's locker room.
Overall, recommended. However, we cannot recommend staying at the hotel.

My visit to the spa at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe was an absolute dream. My friends and I all enjoyed an incredible massage and facial, followed by a private hot tub and sauna experience that was completely serene. A thoughtful personal touch as added for me - a sweet birthday cake and champagne, which made the entire visit feel so warm and special. A special shoutout to Rachel and the staff whose kindness and care made the experience even more wonderful.

Matt has been our go to plumber for fifteen years. When we had a problem with our boiler on Christmas Eve, Matt came to our house and fixed the problem. This week, we discovered we had a leak which turned out to be a major problem. Matt and Tino spent days trying to locate a pinprick in a pipe before successfully fixing the problem. It was a complex job as the leak was in our slab. Matt is so honest, so skilled, so friendly. He and Tino are awesome.
I cannot say enough good things about Yardman; our 5 year old conventional septic system needed to be pumped. From first phone call to end of service, personnel were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonably priced. Thank you for a job well done, we will be calling you again for regular maintenance of our system.
100% recommending this business to anyone with plumbing needs in the Santa Fe-Los Alamos area. We bought our home and decided to do preventative maintenance by replacing the entire plumbing with modern pipes.
They were very efficient, communicative, and friendly during the whole process. The entire job took ~3-4 days including drywall work. There was very little disruption to our lives during this time.
Most of the images in this review were taken during the job, with a final one being the drywall drying. The finish was perfect and over a year later everything is still running great! 10/10!

I contacted Richard's Electrical Solutions for a complete service upgrade to a rural property outside Santa Fe. Because of my remoteness, what I imagined would become a scheduling nightmare--assuming I could even find a contractor willing to accept the job--became a sweet dream, instead.
Richard, the owner, communicated exceptionally well and we quickly scheduled an assessment. He walked me through a variety of options to complete the work, which involved everything from pole, meter and panel installation, electrical distribution to several outbuildings and establishing a new electrified RV hookup. He intervened with PNM to correct and complete the application process and steadfastly worked with me and the service provider to re-establish service over a period of months. I felt understood and supported throughout the lengthy and complex process making this one of the best trade experiences I have ever had. Richards' fees were reasonable and within his projected estimate. I also need to add that I was injured before the project was completed and that Richard stepped in to coordinate with the power company to restore electrical service in my absence as I received medical care out of state. I would (and will) hire Richard again and recommend him as highly as is possible.

We were desperate to replace our gas stove with electric, but visits from electricians resulted in gigantic estimates and proposals to remove and rebuild entire walls in order to bring 220 to the stove. To the rescue: Lonnie, Pablo and Efrain from Gorman Electric. They were on time, considerate, efficient, and highly skilled, bringing the power down through the roof and snaking to the stove with two small openings in the wall, beautifully covered and nearing invisible. All at less than half the bid of other companies, and leaving the kitchen cleaner than they found it! I was sorry to see them finish because they were such a pleasure to have around. We have our little Winter Cabin pretty much in the middle of nowhere - northern New Mexico. We are a ski family and love the outdoors and bought this little cabin for our ski trips in the winter. We had flooding on the lower level which ruined our wood floors throughout. It's hard to find good people in this remote area but we were so blessed to have found Bobby and Denise at Dominguez Carpet One . From the very first contact - they were super professional and courteous. They worked with me at ever y level to allow me to mail them a sample of our current flooring, then then they matched it and mailed me a sample of their own that matched very well. Once we agreed on a wood - they made the long trip up here to measure and provide an estimate. We agreed on the price - and a few weeks later they drove up again to deliver the materials to acclimate inside for a few weeks... Then In October - they came out right on time for the installation. Their crew and equipment were highly professional and I just knew we were in great hands. I was NOT wrong. They did an amazing job and took care of all the little things too -- and that made the difference. The cabin is now beautiful once again and I'm so thankful for these guys. I cannot recommend them highly enough. You will not be disappointed! ~ Joe
This is a comment for the "Google User" who gave the 1 star review 6 years ago. The owner probably didn't contact you because you didn't realize how important the installation is. She could have provided a wonderful product, but with an incompetent installer, the whole job could have been a mess. Then you might have gone back to her wanting some kind of recompense for a problem she had no control over and was not responsible for. I don't blame her for not calling you back, under the circumstances, I wouldn't have either.

Love my new metal roof! It had 20+ year old warped shingles over the main house and cracks in the creases and missing singles over the addition. From the time I asked for an estimate to completion, Jacob and his team were professional and talented. They even swept up my sidewalk and doorstep, looks so much better! :)
My wife and I had LM Construction do interior painting and replace and oil the trim around our large south-facing windows. Tim Curry of Design Solutions is the best combination of creativity, practicality, attention to detail and professionalism that I have encountered in my extensive experience with contractors and designers. (I’ve been involved in 9 remodeling projects in 5 towns.) At several junctures of the project – beginning with my original idea to expand a small porch and later when we were working on details such as cabinetry and lighting – he offered suggestions that achieved my goals but were more cost-effective and better aesthetically. In addition to improving the functionality of the small porch, he designed and built a cover for a large irregularly shaped portal/patio that neither felt cozy nor provided any protection from the New Mexico sun. The finished result adds about 400 sq. feet of what feels like another room to the house. He also managed various updates to the interior that fulfilled the potential of its already excellent “bones.” The house’s previous owners had used him for a complicated drainage/foundation project, and he came to the real estate inspection on a Saturday afternoon just so that he could answer any questions I had and facilitate the sale for his clients. His crew and sub-contractors were top-notch: skilled, respectful of the property and beyond patient with my dogs. Tim truly is a Designer/Builder in the largest sense of the words, and I really envy anyone that hires him to build a house from scratch since I’m sure that would be an even more impressive display of his vision and competence.

Dr. Comeau is truly exceptional. You can tell she stays up to date with continuing education and the latest technology, and that really shows in her work. I know reviews are iffy, you never know. I had a bad infection in a tooth that I had previously had a root canal on. Not at this dentist office. I went in on a Saturday for an emergency visit. I had to wait a bit, but they got me in and Dr Chad Davis and his crew were great. Very nice and attentive to my needs. I was looking for a dentist in Santa Fe but not anymore. I just finished my 2nd appointment with Dr. Fisk. He went over the findings of my exam & x-rays from last week. Dr. Fisk was very patient & thorough in explaining the results and in answering my many questions. He did not rush through anything. He did an adjustment at both appointments which was a couple gentle touches. After the first appointment pain I had in my back for years that I thought was only weak muscles was significantly reduced. I'm looking forward to starting my treatment plan with Dr. Fisk.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Sanchez. After undergoing three spinal fusion surgeries, a cubital tunnel release, and living with constant pain, I had reached my breaking point. From the very beginning, he truly listened, showing both compassion and genuine concern for what I was going through.
What stood out most was his ability to look beyond just my surgical history. While helping me manage my post-operative spine issues, he recognized signs of something more systemic and guided me to seek further evaluation. Because of his insight, I was able to see a rheumatologist and ultimately receive a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis.

So far, things are going great at Sandoval Chiropractic. Drs. Carlos and Elena, as well as Deanza, have helped me in my healing process, after a car accident in November.
I have been seeing Windy once a month for two years now, so it should be obvious she has been taking great care of my needs and pain issues. The adjustments are great, but a year ago, I was in major pain (lower back), and Windy used her dry needle process on my back, and after two sessions, pain-free. Amazing but it works. Ashley, her up-front manager, is always easy to deal with. I highly recommend this practice after years of experience.
I have been seeing Dr. Randall for a while now and am amazed by the depth of the transformations we are achieving. We are dealing with some old, painful injuries that have just piled in top of each other until I could barely function. While I don't always get function back in the hurt toe that bugs me today, my whole structure is getting repaired in ways I never thought it would. I am a horse back rider and being even and balanced is the most important thing for me and seemed unachievable after several bad falls and concussions that messed with my proprioception. I rode yesterday like my 20 year old self and, while today I feel my true age, I could not have gotten this far without Dr. Randall. Also, his office has been really scent free.

We are from Illinois and were traveling out west with our three dogs to visit friends (and their four dogs). As we started back, our dog Alice became seriously ill. We started trying to find a veterinarian who could see her when we were outside of Albuquerque. The receptionist at Smith Veterinary Hospital in Santa Fe was wonderful. He took our information, learned that we were worried about a potential bleeding spleen with Alice and scheduled us through Urgent Care as soon as we arrived in Santa Fe. Dr. Dobesh saw us and determined that Ally needed emergency surgery. She operated that evening and literally, saved Alice's life. Alice was eating, happy, and her silly self by the next day. We stayed in Santa Fe for two days to make sure that Ally was okay to travel and are now back home. Everyone at Smith Veterinary Hospital was kind, supportive and helpful. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate veterinarian than Dr. Dobesh and we are so grateful that we found Smith Veterinary Hospital while traveling. Many thanks again to all of the staff who were there to help us and to treat Alice.
Dr. Hinko Cat,and April have been an integral part of keeping my aging cat (approaching 19 years) alive and well even with multiple health and aging challenges. Audrey is awesome! She has really made a difference in the quality of life for my senior dog who has cancer. He is 13 and even though he was never a high energy dog, he has slowed down considerably since his diagnosis. I wasn't sure we'd see any change in him, but I was willing to try.
Dr. Thal saved my horse Gunner. Gunner broke a molar several years ago and I failed to get care for it based on some bad advice. Gunner stopped eating on December 5th this past year and then had two bouts of colic, because he had stopped drinking water. I called Thal Equine after making another mistake in Gunner’s care. I was told to get Gunner to them as soon as possible. When we arrived he and his team made us feel welcome. They examined Gunner. He was a very sick horse. Before they took him to his stall I hugged him and told him I love him and I would be back for him. Honestly, I was unsure I would ever see Gunner alive again. Dr. Thal explained the surgical procedure to remove the molar. It is a complicated procedure which involves boring a hole through the horse’s sinus to reach the root of the broken molar. Then the remaining bore hole has to be filled with an acrylic substance to seal off the sinus from the mouth.
Removing the molar was complicated because the molars on each side of the broken tooth had begun to grow inward toward the broken molar. Dr. Thal had to perform two surgeries to remove the tooth. He called or texted me after each surgery to update me on Gunner’s condition and the surgeries. After the second surgery to remove the tooth he told me he wasn’t happy with the seal and he was going to take Gunner back into surgery the next day and get a better seal.
I brought Gunner home a week later after several surgeries and a couple of days in ICU. Dr. Thal sent us home with a well written set of instructions for Gunner’s care post surgery. Dr. Thal also returned every phone call or text I sent him when I had questions or concerns about Gunner during his recovery.
I rode Gunner yesterday. The day was pleasant for February. I had my friend back. Gunner and I shared those magical moments of connection and peace you have with a horse. This was all possible because Dr. Thal is a very gifted and dedicated equine veterinarian. He is compassionate and passionate about the care for his patients. Dr. Thal literally saved my horse.
I hope he is in practice for the years I have left on this earth with horses. I feel a sense of comfort knowing that Dr. Thal is within easy driving distance from my home, if I one of our horses needs care. Thank you Dr. Thal.

At the time of writing this, the best way to have a pet seen is to show up and be ready to be admitted at 7:30am. Due to their corporate ownership they are understaffed, like all of the vets in Santa Fe. Dr. Breer and the tech who's name I've really unfortunately forgotten were the first people out of 3 vets that showed care and concern for my puppy, and more so, also could tell I was pretty taxed myself and offered to let me step out and eat for the first time in the day and take a bit of a breather. We are on to a 4th vet for more tests, but under the circumstances, this was the first vet visit since my dog's illness that was caring and had a direction to pursue. Thank you.

I called Rollin Paws to come to my home to put my elderly, sweet dog down. They were communicative, kind, & made the process so peaceful & easy. They let me have a little time w her after, which I was thankful for. I was fortunate enough to be able to chose a private cremation w clay paw print. I did not expect how beautifully done this would be. The box is beautiful & clay print had bits of her hair & dirt from her paw still in it, which I love. They included a few little paint-prints with the certificate of cremation, and a very sweet card signed by the staff. The box came in a beautiful blue velvet pouch & it was all in a very nice blue paper gift bag (that description sounds weird but it's really very nice).
Thank you to the team, I had her for a very long time through thick & thin, she was a part of me, and I'm so thankful for such great care.

When Susie received her bladder cancer diagnosis, Dr. Kelly didn’t just lay out treatment options—she took the time to really understand our concerns, answer every question, and walk us through each decision with clarity and patience.
Because of Dr. Kelly’s expertise and thoughtful guidance, Susie’s story did end with her initial 3–6 month prognosis from another vet- she lived a full three and a half years more. Memories we would not have had without Dr. Kelly’s care.

I found Micah years ago after my little bichon had a very bad experience with a groomer in Phoenix. Now he only goes to Micah. Though he can be prickly, she loves him up and handles him beautifully. I started taking my old mixed breed for a bath and brush too and she comes home a new dog. In the last year I have added a large sheepadoodle to the mix. Quite a handful. Micah is the only one I would trust with my dogs!!!
The girls come home exhausted and happy when they’ve spent time mingling at Paws Plaza.

I’ve been taking online classes with Emily since 2020 and have gone on several retreats with her. Her teaching is a unique mix of yoga and strength with lots of poems, joy and levity. She gives you the tools and wisdom to trust yourself to be your own guide. I came to yoga source a year ago for the first time and since coming back this year the studio has really grown its community vibes and is such a lovely and welcoming environment even for out of town visitors. What Emily has curated is incredible and is such a a great way for all levels and all ages to explore approachable foundational yoga practices and various other movement and writing offerings!

In my experience with Dr. Jason Heckler at Whole Body Wellness all went very well. I am dealing with Post Herpetic Neurology from Shingles. Lohama at the front desk called my insurance carrier to be sure the treatment was covered and got me scheduled. I am at roughly 20% of the discomfort that was originally much worse before treatment. I opted for “medium -firm” pressure knowing it would be a bit heavy but was what my neglected muscles needed. It did not disappoint!

I found about Jia’s Telegram from a friend who had a sweet review to share about her and reached out to her at @jiakim0110. I mentioned wanting a one-hour deep tissue massage Nuru type, and she explained that she only takes clients by appointment and doesn’t accept walk-ins.
She walked me through the booking process directly with her. I reserved a one-hour full-service session with my payment sorted, and my private code received after confirmation. She took time to explain how everything worked. When I arrived at the spa, I quickly understood why the approval code is so important. Another customer without one was politely turned away at the front desk. He seemed disappointed, saying he didn’t realize appointments were required and had to head home to book one first. I felt for him, but it made me even more grateful for the smooth process.
I provided my approval code and was let in immediately. Jia had the room nicely prepared and was waiting for me. The whole experience felt very professional, relaxing, and satisfying. Christine is just amazing! I've been to her several times. She's licensed. I am a licensed massage therapist and am very picky. Her energy work is wonderful! And I just found out that she's a fitness and nutrition coach! She is gentle and listens. I usually like deep tissue to work out my knots. Instead of digging in on my right shoulder which is always tense, she gently encouraged it to relax and surprised me that her method worked! I'll be visiting her again and again.
Love the exercises he gave me as they weren’t the typical ones but totally geared to target my specific injury. I also loved the dry needling and thought that really helped to get over the last bit of inflammation in my muscles from a muscle tear.
Dennis Bartek is a wonderful and very gifted physical therapist. I turned to Dennis and EVOLVEDPT with a case of acute pain/discomfort around my left ankle and tightness in my left calf. In his diagnosis, Dennis showed me that much of my problem stemmed from weakness in my left hip muscles/flexors. Three sessions of shockwave therapy and carefully designed sets of daily exercises brought me around quickly; he also recommended adjustable orthopedic heel lifts. I haven't had a problem since. Dennis's work was so impressive that I urged my wife to book some sessions with him, to find relief from two decades of persistent neck and shoulder pain. Shockwave treatment and a set of easy, daily exercises with resistance bands have helped her immeasurably. We really appreciate Dennis's diagnostic and therapeutic skills; his thoughtful follow-up emails and texts after each session; and his cordial, easy-going approach to care. Thanks Dennis! 5+ Stars!

I’m leaving this review soon after my first session with Dr. Cat because it was a breakthrough moment for me. Directly and concisely explaining my symptoms, Dr. Cat shared the possible effect in Chinese medicine terminology. Something resonated within and when I looked it up after the session, it was completely accurate. Though I don’t currently express every symptom, there is nuance to what I do experience that aligns with the root cause. Dr. Cat was not only very knowledgeable and generous with the needles but I heard her speak with 4 other elderly clients - she was warm, compassionate, and took her time and met them in very individualistic ways. Highly recommend!!

Great acupuncture. Katherine's one of the few practitioners that's been able to help me. She's sensitive to my needs and listens. A very sincere, caring individual with lots of good suggestions.
Went for some nagging lower back pain and tension. Dr. Canzone was very helpful in providing relief. The acupuncture session itself brought a marked sense of release and relaxation, and I certainly left with more ease than I arrived.

I've been getting acupuncture with Rachel on and off for years. She is an awesome acupuncturist. She recently had to raise her rate to $40, but she's worth more than that. She listens and is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend her as an acupuncturist and will definitely return.
