My first experience in acupuncture was with Diane Rooney a few weeks ago and it was great!I was having trouble with my neck, shoulder, and upper back due to stress and bad posture. After my first treatment, Diane was able to take care of the pain and tension and I’ve been going to see her ever since. After each treatment I’ve felt muscle relief and unexpectedly a sense of wellbeing that I never got with massage therapy. She is very kind, knowledgeable, and experienced in acupuncture, I highly recommend her.

I give Diane my highest recommendation. Diane has been my acupuncturist in NYC for over ten years and helped resolve whiplash as well as plantar fascia problems. Her background is extensive, she taught at the TriState College of Acupuncture for 20 years. She worked at the integrative therapies program for children with cancer at New York Presbyterian Hospital and then started an integrative therapies program at Saint Jude Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. Now she teaches at Southwest Acupuncture College. I’m disappointed she moved to Sante Fe but her new community will benefit from her healing integrative therapies.

If you are lucky enough to have found Diane, RUN to get treatment from her!!! She is a master of trigger point work and gets right to the root of the pain issue , rather than tapping in a few needles and leaving the room as many other practitioners do. So often I would leave her sessions feeling like a new person and I suffer from ongoing chronic pain. On top of...read full review
