“Gas Pool Heater Installation. Five Stars due to immediate response, quick (no cost) estimate in person, quick turn around on scheduling the job, and of course the job itself completed with high quality, on time, and as promised.

My very old gas pool heater (in ground pool) finally gave up the ghost. I was recommended a company by my pool tile installer (from a few years back). This company offerred mili-volt heater, with no hook up to my CompPool controller, with uncertain installation timing, and inconsistent call backs to answer questions.

Found Hartford & Ratliff from google search. Called on Monday and was offered immediate (same day) free in person estimate. Scheduled estimated for Wednesday. Technician Zak arrived on time, explained the job, quoted electronic ignition heater, did not rush and answered all the questions. Accepted contract. Was offerred job on Friday (same week) - to be me back up and running for Labor Day weekend.

Heater installed - everything was cleaned up. Had people in the nice and warm pool by Sunday.

“I needed A repair to one of my outside faucets. I had been negligent one year and left an attachment on my faucet through the winter. It froze on the faucet and I was never able to remove it. I was sort of able to continue to use it. But it was becoming more unsatisfactory. There was leaking and hooking up my hose to the old attachment I'd left on was not working so well anymore. I called about the hose bib replacement offer they were advertising. But also had stated I was not sure my situation would allow a new hose bib. without complications. Trevor Nabozny arrived. After some back and forth discussion, He told me he would try and remove the offending attachment. And if he could remove it, I probably would not need to have a new hose bib. In my situation, it would have been very expensive He set to work and, much to my delight (that is not an exaggeration) he got the attachment off! He took it from there, did some other fine tuning and I now have a working hose faucet, with no leaking, without the expense of a new hose bib. I couldn't have been happier. So he will be my plumber of choice if I ever need a plumber again Thank you Trevor“

Gave us 3 options and quotes for the two that involved locating the leak or could replace unit. “I had an opportuity to compare Long's services and pricing with a small father and sons company in Livonia. I had a slow kitchen sink drain and Long's had a wait list. The Livonia company used a small snake that barely had enough power to clear an obstruction at 22 feet out. The cost was $225. The drain didn't stay cleared. I booked with Longs and waited several days. Long's snake is so big it has its own dolly. The drain cleared at 22 feet and then for good measure, the tech took the snake out to 75 feet. I paid $185. So Long's was more efficient, better equipped and cheaper.“
