6:30AM - 9PM
3506 Georgia Ave NW, Washington“I love this studio, from the black industrial ceiling and black floor to the fabulous instructors. It has a friendly and cool vibe with classes and times that allow me the flexibility I need to fit my schedule and needs. The 2 studios allow simultaneous classes and give a variety for hot yoga, candlelit yoga to run while others are doing a power class. For some reason, having the pot plants suspended from the ceiling enhances my practice, as does the welcoming and accepting community.“
5:45AM - 8:30PM
1232 M St NW, Washington“I can recommend Uplift Strength & Spirit most highly. Staff is experienced, professional, welcoming, and supportive. They worked with me to tailor training sessions to my personal goals. Uplift takes a wholistic approach to fitness including lifestyle, nutrition, and flexibility. I had been away from structured gym workouts for over a year and am already seeing positive results after a month in muscle tone, strength, and weight loss.“
7AM - 8PM
4040 Fairfax Dr #100D, Arlington“I recently went for a free trial class and had a fantastic experience! My neighbor and friend recommended SPENGA and I am so glad I went, I signed up for a membership after class. My instructor Jenna helped me to feel super comfortable and explained the format and everything so well for a newcomer. During class, it was small enough that instructors can give you individual corrections and attention and Jenna’s cueing was clear and very descriptive along with being super positive including immediately demonstrating both the standard movement and multiple modification options. I really appreciated that this studio vocally encourages everyone to listen to their body and adjust as needed judgment-free and makes all walks of life feel welcome. I am so excited to go back, especially knowing I already already have friends there!“

928 5th St NW, Washington“Bhakti Yoga DC is a truly special community, and Gopi’s unique teaching style makes every class both inspiring and deeply grounding. She creates an authentic space for spiritual connection while making the teachings accessible and meaningful. Her flow and connection between movements is really unique and natural, really changed my practice 12 years ago.
I also had the opportunity to join one of her retreats in Portugal, which was an unforgettable experience. Beyond the beautiful setting, it was the meaningful connections made with others that made it so special. If you’re looking for a yoga community that nurtures both personal growth and genuine connection, I highly recommend Bhakti Yoga DC.“

“I can't say enough good things about Willow St. Yoga. Its classes and amazing teachers nourish our body, mind, and soul. This studio is truly an under appreciated gem of Takoma DC and Takoma Park. Has an incredibly history/legacy (and a national reputation - incredibly for a small, independent studio) and is led today by Joe Miller (son of the founder). Joe is himself a gem of a teacher and a human. SO knowledgeable about yoga and anatomy, as well as funny and generous. This studio deserves everyone's support - but most important, it has so much to offer all of us! Diverse classes, special workshops, great teachers. Willow Street has got it all.
Also, you can't lose by trying them out - they offer a $29 special for two weeks of unlimited classes. That's how my wife and I got hooked. And now we are members with unlimited classes and not enough time to enjoy them all.“
