Have always had a good experience here, it is a standard mani pedi service unless you upgrade, and the prices are on par with other similar places. It is clean and tidy, and the techs are pleasant and don't try to make too much small talk while you are having your service. This place is not as "fancy" as other newer places in the area (rock star, Venezia spa) but my polish has lasted longer from here compared with the bigger nail places.

While I liked the old crew, I absolutely love the new manager/owner and what they have done to the place - definite glow up! All new nail polishes, an interior facelift, and friendly personal. Felt pampered. And appreciated how organized everything felt in the new and improved Josie 2.0. Literally just left and already looking forward to my next appt! David did an amazing job. I popped over after spending the day in Six Flags, and not from the area. David exceeded my expectations as he is detail-oriented and will make sure you love it. I wanted it as short as possible since I have to type on keyboard 24/7 for work, and he made sure to honor my request and did not make them long.

We’ve used Glenbrook Plumbing for numerous jobs. They are prompt and professional. I recommend them and I will definitely use them again.
We've had problems every six months or so with those pesky Elmhurst tree roots and various plumbers coming to repair. We finally decided to invest in sewer lining and had Felix from Drain Guys come out to give us a quote. He looked in the sewer with a camera and gave us a full report. We were able to schedule him and his crew rather quickly and they had the job done within two days. Our yard had zero mess and required no repairs (we've had it dug up before to deal with roots). The liner has a 70-year warranty so we won't need to do it again but I would 100% call Felix any time I had a plumbing issue arise. We are recommending Drain Guys to all of our neighbors who have experience similar issues with sewer lining.
I had Eric and Village Plumbing fix a shower pipe leak from a tricky place in another home some years ago. In my current old home, today, I needed a water softener removed. It had been unplugged for three years, but not bypassed from the main. After disconnecting the softener piping, they plumbed the gap, also simplifying a piping maze from 65 years of 'fixes'. They had to bust apart the 400 lb salt block that had formed in the softener so that the salt could be carried out of the house - I had expected that additional task from my research. Afterwards, they swept up nicely and hauled away all the debris. I was satisfied with the work and price just as I had been before. Eric's a helpful guy who knows what he's doing.

They were very responsive and came out same day we called to review the damage, and began the mitigation and restoration in two rooms affected by the water damage next day. Phase 2So we were finally able to begin phase 2 and change the front yard. All of the old landscaping (mostly overgrown and dead bushes) were removed. We then had our house painted. Pete developed the plan for a new stoop, sidewalk, driveway and landscaping. It changed the look completely. Pete and the entire crew did another fabulous job! They always do quality work. We hope to add lighting.In the winter of 2020 we lost some old arborvitaes in the backyard .Pete put in a great fence, that has become a wonderful addition to the backyard. Hillside Landscaping did our Spring clean up this year and it was amazing! These guys were so thorough I could never have done the job myself even with a week of time. I would have paid double for all they did. They even worked in the rain. Amazing! I talked with the owner Gary and he was extremely knowledgeable about the state of my plants and lawn. I went with my mother, Sophia, to get veneers. English is not her primary language, so we always have a hard time with dentists or healthcare professionals. Previous dentists we went to were always super dismissive and easily frustrated because of the language barrier, but not Glen Dental Center. The staff made sure to accept us, and were extremely patient with my mother. In fact, they even assisted my mother on her wheelchair, and helped me put her on the chair despite the inconvenience. Dr. Gilmor came to personally greet us, and even with the language barrier he communicated perfectly with me and my mother; explaining the procedure perfectly. Although we were unsure at first, we decided to try the veneers, and now we realize it was one of the best decisions we made for her. My mother, whom initially did not like to show her smile, now smiles brightly. We are extremely happy and very thankful for Glen Dental Center and their exceptional staff.

My husband raved about his first visit with Dr. Amy. My husband cares about his health and invest in improving and maintaining full function. He’s been having some shoulder problems with range of motion. He was surprised that the strength, his arms and shoulders were not what he was expecting, but Dr. Amy got the correct signals to fire. Dr. Amy also got my husband fired up about training because he now has more strength. My husband said he likes her approach and the fact that she is focus on being effective and her methods don’t take too much time out of his day. For years my extended family has been going to Back To Health Chiropractic for varies health reasons. Though all my family members praised the skill of Dr. Jim and Dr. Linda, I had had a few bad experiences with other chiros so was reluctant to try again. I was a fool and should have listened to my wife earlier. The Laurie's are so skilled, patient and wonderful chiropractors and they have helped me beyond my imagination. First, their location is in a med/professional strip with plenty of parking and very easy to access. Once you enter their premise which is clean and relaxing, you are greeted by Renee, their assistant, who is friendly and very efficient in processing your updates and such. I have been primarily Dr. Jim's patient and I have never had to wait beyond my appointment time to see him. Dr. Jim has a presence that is so calming, caring and professional. He always checks his notes from my last visit and asks how I am doing since that visit. I joke I don't really need to tell him what issues I may have since as soon as he exams my back, Dr. Jim can identify those issues by his touch alone. I first came to him due to back issues from running. Dr. Jim fixed those issues and just as importantly has given me exercises and stretches to do so I could continue the activity I love. Then I fell and hurt my shoulder badly. I did not expect Dr. Jim to be able to help me but he did. He never ceases to amaze me with his deep knowledge of the body, his gentle humor, deep sense of caring and his skill at chiropractics. Dr. Jim constantly goes the extra mile to show me stretches and muscle strengthening exercises which he takes the time to demonstrate and then makes me do repetitions to make sure I have the technique down. He is the best chiropractor I have ever been to and he has renewed my body so I can continue to do the things I love. Additionally, Dr. Linda has helped be too and she is also qualified to do acupuncture. I really admire the fact that when neither doctor can really help me, they say so and then recommend other avenues of health care and approaches. As I said, I would not hesitate to recommend BTHC to anyone in need of such care and the combined knowledge of the two good doctors is a real bonus in helping you in your health care needs whether it is recovering from an injury or general maintenance.

Everyone here from front desk to vet techs to doctors are wonderful. Our pooch received such compassionate excellent care for many many years. Dr Mateles is so caring, and very knowledgeable. She spent a great amount of time with our pooch at each visit. We were always able to get an appointment when we needed. When our pooch declined she told us the signs to watch for. Our family is very grateful for all the love and care we received from the entire staff. Our sweet doggie is now in heaven and we will see him again one day.

I’ve loved the classes I’ve taken at Yoga 6 in Glenview. The facility is beautiful and super convenient. And the yoga classes are challenging in the best way possible. The yoga sculpt class was particularly awesome - definitely taking that one again. It had a strong community atmosphere - not like typical drop in yoga place. The instructor knew everyone’s name! Highly recommend if you are looking for a yoga studio to calm home.

I went to Idania for a Brazilian Lymphatic Massage with no expectations and I was blown away by the entire experience. Idania is genuinely kind and caring and she knows her stuff! After 60 minutes I left feeling relaxed, lighter and I looked thinner. I have an autoimmune disease so the massage was more for my sluggish lymph nodes than losing inches (but that was a great bonus!). I highly recommend trying Idania for the Brazilian Lymphatic Massage. You will walk about of the massage with a lightness you haven't felt in a long time. Can't wait for my next one!

Why didn't I think to soak in Epsom salts? She also treats the whole self by being in tune with how we talk about our pain and physical challenges. 3 years ago I experienced the worst sciatica pain imaginable. It lasted 5 nightmarish weeks. During the end of the agonizing pain I decided to see Dawn from a recommendation I received. She performed dry needling for me, and I was skeptical but then sold. I did a total of 3 sessions, and I fully know it’s what made me turn the corner. Dawn is so friendly, kind, a genuine healer. It has taken me way too long to write this review. I have so much gratitude for her, and her expertise. I would recommend her to anyone I know.
