“No one believes me when I say I found a company this great!!! It took me a while to find the right design/build firm for a major project - an entire overhaul of half of our house. The project included 3 full bathrooms and a new laundry room as well as a refresh of all the bedrooms, hallways, etc. I've heard horror stories on this type of project and was very careful about any red flags from other companies I engaged with and got quotes from. Callahan & Peters was a refreshing stand-out. ZERO red flags from start to finish. The people who work here take pride in what they do AND they really listen. We had some unique requests and they found ways to make it happen. The level of effort we had to put into "getting things done" was quite minimal after designers helped make decisions. Not only did they check the box on basics you'd expect - project management, full design assistance, architects, permits, management of the contractors, etc ON TIME and ON BUDGET, but they were very respectful of our home and started to feel like part of the family. It's very special when the GC is the person to come to your project every single morning, let the tradespeople in, and have a conversation with you about what to expect for the day/week. We even liked their tradespeople - electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting. You name it! All friendly and respectful. They kept it clean and minimally disruptive to our family while we lived in the other part of our house. I couldn't be more pleased with the results and would recommend working with this company to EVERYONE!!!“
