Had an open porch built, and a colleague had Royal Deck do it for him first, basically wouldn't stop recommending them, so I finally called. I went into the consultation expecting the standard contractor pitch. What I got was more practical than that. The project scope grew a bit once I saw what was possible with the space, which I'm not entirely blaming them for. The framing phase looked like a lot at first. Looking at the photos mid-construction, I thought: okay, this is going to be a long haul. But Ben was straightforward throughout, returned calls quickly, and came out in person when I had structural questions rather than just texting back something vague. The transition from the framing stage to the finished product was fast once the bones were in place. It's construction, so it's never perfectly smooth. But the communication was honest, the timeline held mostly together, and the finished open porch is exactly what I wanted. I'm definitely happy with the result! Would work with them again.
Amish Cabinet Company and Joe Booth were great for our kitchen remodel. The cabinets are extremely high quality and were installed within the specified timeline. Joe went above and beyond throughout the project, coming to our house multiple times throughout the renovation to remeasure to ensure the cabinets were built perfectly, including adjusting dimensions as needed once we opened up the walls and were able to add a few inches to the room. Joes ideas on cabinet storage solutions also made the final cabinets much more usable for the space.
Installation was fast and profession. We would highly recommend Amish Cabinet Company to anyone looking for high quality new kitchen cabinets.
I risked getting a spray tan by Anna right before my event without testing her first. It was the best decision ever! She is so wonderful and this may be the best tan I’ve ever gotten! Go get your spray tans w her! I will be going back!

We looked into several options to replace our deck. Erdmann was the middle quote but by far, much better than the highest quote we received. Their process was easy and seamless. Shoutout to Emily Licata. Once we started the process, she kept us well informed until completion. Another shoutout to the crew, Sam, Niko and Max. They were amazing, hardworking, and extremely professional. We’re very pleased with our new deck as it is extremely well built. The crew made sure to clean up after themselves at the end of each day and very accommodating to our needs. Our neighbors are so impressed that they’ve asked for their contact information. I strongly recommend Erdmann to anyone.
I highly recommend Jolanta. Her facials are heavenly. She includes shoulder massages and a hot hand treatment with her facials. You will leave even more beautiful and relaxed than when you came in. She also has been giving my 13 year old teen facials to help with his acne. It’s not as relaxing but it’s still very helpful and needed to clear up his skin. Her salon is perfect - spa like and clean. She carries products but doesn’t push any of it. Her rates are super reasonable and definitely worth it!

Would 100% recommend Eddie to anyone looking for a barber. After months of bad haircuts elsewhere, Eddie was able to look at a picture and nail exactly what I wanted on his first try, no touch ups or adjustments needed.

Another gentleman mentioned in these reviews how draining it can be to move somewhere new and shop around for a new barber. After one year of searching, I found Jose. Decided to try Queen Nails since I’ve always passed by the place. It’s not the most modern or fancy type of salon but the place is clean and comfortable.
Sena was able to accommodate me for a next day appointment for a mani and pedi.

I've been going to Choice Nails - Arlington Hts for almost 2 years for mani/pedis. I've always had a wonderful experience and my nails look fabulous. Recently, I decided to try Dip Powder. Sue did a fantastic job....beautiful, strong nails. The hardest part was selecting a color, there are so many! I highly recommend this nail salon.

The only place I'd ever bring my Lilo! Rebecca does an amazing job and we love her plum facials! The work the ladies do is absolutely exquisite. It's truly such a beautiful environment for both people and dogs. You can feel the love and customization for every single dog immediately upon walking in. I love Syndey! I go to her for my eyelash tint and lift. She does excellent work and I can always count on my lashes to look good and last a long time after I see her. Her space is always clean and comfortable, and she is always fun to chat with while she works on my lashes. I've been to a lot of different lash technicians, but Sydney has become my go-to because of her expertise, kindness and how comfortable she makes the process.

Nancy was my makeup artist for my wedding (many, many years ago!), my brother’s wedding, and my best friend’s wedding! She is so talented! Nancy knows skin and makeup! She made me and my bridal party absolutely stunning! The make up lasted all night (hottest September Saturday! Sunny, humid, and 90’s) without feeling heavy or cakey!
Fast forward to now, 2025. Nancy continues to take care of my face and the faces of my sons (teens). She is a talented esthetician knowing skin and hair! Nancy works in a relaxing, quiet, comfortable room. It’s spacious and comfortable. Her bed is nice and warm, large and comfortable. Her towels and sheets are soft!
Nancy herself is a fabulous person. She’s warm, sweet, caring, and outgoing. She shares her knowledge and gives tips to do at home that’s realistic! Nancy takes her time, she really loves what she does and I can tell. My facials are complete! I walk out moisturized, smooth, and soft! Let’s not forget relaxed! My brows look amazing, my facial hair taken care of (aka lip fuzzzzzz).
She takes care of my sons also. She extracts all sorts of grossness from them (teen skin) and she’s as gentle with them as possible. She has these squishy balls that they use to help deflect the feelings.
Best part, Nancy communicates all the way with what she’s doing and how my skin is, what the aftercare should be, and how to keep up at home. Seriously - you will absolutely love Nancy Jackson!

Denis and Murati Plumbing are a top notch company. Always there for you with professional, courteous, and meticulous work. We have have used them for everything from clogged pipes to ejector pit installation and most-recently primary and backup sump pump installation. They also evaluated our overall drainage system for our house and found problems with prior installation work from when the house was built as well as issues with another company that we had used for drainage. Now we know they do this work as well and will only be using and recommending them going forward!

I was in a pickle. I had to tend to a serious family health issue at local hospital, yet half of our house was without electricity with Fourth of July holiday the next day. I desperately started searching for electricians. The first one was unable to troubleshoot electrical shortage. I started to panic a bit. Thankfully I came across Greg, Faza Electric. Immediately when I spoke with him on phone, and then met him in person, I could see how he exuded quiet confidence, caring personality and utmost professionalism. Amazingly, he came to our house the morning of the Fourth of July as he had promised knowing our predicament. He methodically narrowed down where the short occurred. We actually had 2 outlets that had compromised wiring. He fixed the issue at an unbelievably fair price point. He is an extremely competent electrician and a great human being. We originally hired him to install a chandelier we bought for the house - He worked very quickly and left no mess, and the result came out beautifully. He has since also fixed a broken light socket in an inaccessible recessed fixture on a vaulted ceiling, and repaired a faulty lightswitch.

Santiago measured the space and was very helpful in answering our additional questions, and we found installers Emilio and Juan Carlos to be extremely efficient, congenial, and skilled. Zachary came to my house to remove three squirrels that had fallen down my fireplace chimney with their nest. He managed to corral all three and put them in cages without harming them. We have been using Puglia for 7-8 seasons now. I can count on them to be at our house every Wednesday morning and that way the lawn is nice and sharp for the weekend. If you are not into pain. Dr. Wiese should be your Dentist. If you are busy and do not want to have multiple appointments for a crown or tooth replacement etc then Dr Wiese is the dentist for you. He has the best equipment and team to get you in and out in a friendly professional way. I encourage you to call the office and schedule a cleaning or visit.

Dr Vartan is such a great chiropractor! He is very compassionate, takes time to answer as many questions as I have and is such a kind nice doctor. I came mostly because I saw an ad for soft wave treatments for my knee but then started adjustments too. I used to take lots of ibuprofen and got cortisone shot every 3 mos in my knee but after starting treatments with Dr Vartan, I stopped ibuprofen completely and haven’t had a shot in 6 mos. My knee pain has significantly improved and my neck and back feel better also. Highly recommend !

You need to see Dr. O, if you are suffering from TMJ. After just a few adjustments the relief was incredible. On top of the amazing results, the office runs like clockwork—appointments always start on time.

Fantastic chiropractor. My family has been seeing him for years. Never asks to see you more than you need to. Sets his pricing to be affordable to everyone. Most recently I threw my back out for the first time. Could barely walk. Honestly walked out his office feeling 100x better and by the next day it was like I hadn’t had pain. I expected a slight change but not that much. And it’s a great friendly family business.
I was referred to see Dr. Khan and his team after dealing with back pain from a car accident. At first I was a little skeptical of the physical therapy process. However, after a week I started feeling a noticeable decrease in pain. After two more weeks, the back pain was halfway gone. By the time I was at six weeks, pain from the accident was almost gone!
Dr. Khan's PT system works and he's truly a master in his field. He is just an all-around smart guy for anything medical and scientific as well. Bright is very skilled at choosing the right PT exercises to target the problem. I would always get out of bed the day after PT feeling an improvement.

Dr Perns is amazing. I started seeing him after a car accident and after unsuccessful physical therapy, which left me in continued pain with no improvement. I could not even sleep in my bed. I would have to sleep sitting up on my couch. I saw Dr. Perns and he used laser therapy along with adjustments and in no time at all I was able to return to my bed. I have continued maintenance treatment with him (my choice), and it makes all the difference in the world. Also, his adjustments are not the old-fashioned twisting of your body, which always made me nervous. I look forward to my treatments; they have improved the quality of my life. Don't put off treatment anymore; go see Dr. Perns.
Truly, a master and his craft I had an issue with my chicken, and I contacted him about it, and he was out of town, but was able to walk me through some helpful tips in the meantime. Truly someone who’s passionate about their job and animals!

So far we are really happy here. The front desk people are always friendly. The vet techs are always kind to our pets and knowledgeable. We have seen more of Dr. Sheridan in our appointments. I think because he is newer to the practice but I don't believe he's a new vet. He's very knowledgeable. He's also to the point and explains things thoroughly.
Great experience at March so far. I would say their prices are in line for what things cost in Arlington Heights. Nothing is cheap here, but I would say the prices are what I would expect.

As always Dr. Flaska is kind and caring with our Chocolate Lab. She loves him and is very vocal about him coming in to see her. He is always patient and thorough with his exam. He listens to my concerns. We have worked together to get through many bacteria infections. He is clear with instructions and tries different approaches. This is our third Lab we have taken there over the years. The ladies at the front desk have been efficient,, tolerant of a barking nervous pup and when I have been in distress they have been very compassionate.

There aren’t enough words to describe the gratitude for which I hold for Illinois Back Institute. If it wasn’t for Luba, Maggie, and Julianna, I would not be able to walk today. Altogether I have been in pain for 11 months, five months ago I started at Illinois back Institute. I went in there with a pain level of 10 and as of right now I am at a 2 and still continuing PT. They do Spinal decompression standing, walking, sitting, and lying down. Every routine is customized to your injury and recovery time is different for everybody. Some only stay a month, and I (personally) have been there for almost 5 months now and I am just a little while away from a full recovery. I will forever be grateful for Illinois Back Institute.

When other therapists didn't want to take on my adult son being autistic and non-verbal and it was 'going to be too much work', you did. You challenged him and became his best friend and were there for us when times were tough. You did what was necessary so that you could provide therapy for him while living in Tennessee and I will always appreciate that. Also you realized when he needed more help than you could provide virtually and stepped in to help recommend therapists in our area.

For several years bilateral carpal tunnel was driving me crazy. I had injections, topical OTC medications with little if any short term relief. I found Family Tree on line and conveniently located and decided to give it a try. The office is quiet, comfortable and Michael explained each step. After each weekly treatment the attacks were less frequent and after maybe 5-6 I can happily say NO symptoms at all for several months.
