Had an open porch built, and a colleague had Royal Deck do it for him first, basically wouldn't stop recommending them, so I finally called. I went into the consultation expecting the standard contractor pitch. What I got was more practical than that. The project scope grew a bit once I saw what was possible with the space, which I'm not entirely blaming them for. The framing phase looked like a lot at first. Looking at the photos mid-construction, I thought: okay, this is going to be a long haul. But Ben was straightforward throughout, returned calls quickly, and came out in person when I had structural questions rather than just texting back something vague. The transition from the framing stage to the finished product was fast once the bones were in place. It's construction, so it's never perfectly smooth. But the communication was honest, the timeline held mostly together, and the finished open porch is exactly what I wanted. I'm definitely happy with the result! Would work with them again.
Amish Cabinet Company and Joe Booth were great for our kitchen remodel. The cabinets are extremely high quality and were installed within the specified timeline. Joe went above and beyond throughout the project, coming to our house multiple times throughout the renovation to remeasure to ensure the cabinets were built perfectly, including adjusting dimensions as needed once we opened up the walls and were able to add a few inches to the room. Joes ideas on cabinet storage solutions also made the final cabinets much more usable for the space.
Installation was fast and profession. We would highly recommend Amish Cabinet Company to anyone looking for high quality new kitchen cabinets.

I highly recommend Jolanta. Her facials are heavenly. She includes shoulder massages and a hot hand treatment with her facials. You will leave even more beautiful and relaxed than when you came in. She also has been giving my 13 year old teen facials to help with his acne. It’s not as relaxing but it’s still very helpful and needed to clear up his skin. Her salon is perfect - spa like and clean. She carries products but doesn’t push any of it. Her rates are super reasonable and definitely worth it!
Oh my love, the store has a decent vast range of collectibles, though series wise, it’s not too much unless you mainly like mainstreamed media (JoJo, BSD, KNY, etc) so if your into animes/games that are less popular, the most chance you’d have to find something from that fandom is through the random item bins (there was 2 when I went) or asking if staff could check their inventory for it.
Also I think the prices for some mangas are cheaper, I only checked a few though.
Though I do have some complaints:
- things like some figurines are priced up by like 10-30%, though you could also pass this off due to them being a smaller business.
- some containers are mislabeled/missing, but that’s more annoying than anything
Here’s my pros though:
- extremely friendly staffs
- neat storage/layout
Overall though, I would probably go there weekly if I lived close, would go again though if I am ever in the area!

Another gentleman mentioned in these reviews how draining it can be to move somewhere new and shop around for a new barber. After one year of searching, I found Jose. I came to Palm Beach Tan due to lack of customer service at the LA Tan I was going to. I came on a Sunday at 6:30, (30 minutes before they close) And told the tanning consultant that I wanted To be respectful of their time, Since I knew that they were closing soon. Jerry went above and beyond to take his time to tell me about all of their membership benefits. I ended up signing up for an unlimited spray tan membership. Jerry even took extra time to make sure that I was comfortable in the tanning booth, and also explain to me all the upgrades they offer. He was so welcoming and made it hard for me to not want to come back. Keep him forever!

Decided to try Queen Nails since I’ve always passed by the place. It’s not the most modern or fancy type of salon but the place is clean and comfortable.

I've been going to Choice Nails - Arlington Hts for almost 2 years for mani/pedis. I've always had a wonderful experience and my nails look fabulous. Recently, I decided to try Dip Powder. Sue did a fantastic job....beautiful, strong nails. The hardest part was selecting a color, there are so many! I highly recommend this nail salon.

The only place I'd ever bring my Lilo! Rebecca does an amazing job and we love her plum facials! The work the ladies do is absolutely exquisite. It's truly such a beautiful environment for both people and dogs. You can feel the love and customization for every single dog immediately upon walking in. How have I never reviewed Nancy Jackson?! She is beyond 5 stars!
Nancy was my makeup artist for my wedding (many, many years ago!), my brother’s wedding, and my best friend’s wedding! She is so talented! Nancy knows skin and makeup! She made me and my bridal party absolutely stunning! The make up lasted all night (hottest September Saturday! Sunny, humid, and 90’s) without feeling heavy or cakey!
Fast forward to now, 2025. Nancy continues to take care of my face and the faces of my sons (teens). She is a talented esthetician knowing skin and hair! Nancy works in a relaxing, quiet, comfortable room. It’s spacious and comfortable. Her bed is nice and warm, large and comfortable. Her towels and sheets are soft!
Nancy herself is a fabulous person. She’s warm, sweet, caring, and outgoing. She shares her knowledge and gives tips to do at home that’s realistic! Nancy takes her time, she really loves what she does and I can tell. My facials are complete! I walk out moisturized, smooth, and soft! Let’s not forget relaxed! My brows look amazing, my facial hair taken care of (aka lip fuzzzzzz).
She takes care of my sons also. She extracts all sorts of grossness from them (teen skin) and she’s as gentle with them as possible. She has these squishy balls that they use to help deflect the feelings.
Best part, Nancy communicates all the way with what she’s doing and how my skin is, what the aftercare should be, and how to keep up at home. Seriously - you will absolutely love Nancy Jackson!

I always wanted to have lash extensions since I barely have any and have a lot of allergies and eye sensitivity, so finding Olesea is amazing. She initially did the patch test on me and my first appt was very personalized and done with care. She is very passionate with her work/art and we bonded right away. I knew I was in great hands. I got so many compliments on how classy and natural my eyelashes are. It was just perfect and doesn't look overdone. The price, compared to another firm, was very reasonable. Overall, pleased with the job done. Would definitely use Rocket Plumbing and Eric, again.
Denis and Murati Plumbing are a top notch company. Always there for you with professional, courteous, and meticulous work. We have have used them for everything from clogged pipes to ejector pit installation and most-recently primary and backup sump pump installation. They also evaluated our overall drainage system for our house and found problems with prior installation work from when the house was built as well as issues with another company that we had used for drainage. Now we know they do this work as well and will only be using and recommending them going forward!
We have been loyal customers for years and lovethe quality of work , the professionalism and quick resonse to our calls. We feel the charges are right in line with other companies so it is a good value.
We have needed too much plumbing work over the last year or so and worked with a few different companies. Central Plumbing is by far THE BEST. They’ve been here to change old, faulty water and gas valves for us and have come through with shining stars! We will never go with any other company ever again. They provide a narrow time frame for when they’ll be there (instead of keeping you waiting all day) and show up on time. The plumbers are helpful, friendly and work quickly and efficiently. Is it expensive? Yes, but lower cost than the “big name” companies with quicker and friendlier service. I Highly recommend Central Plumbing!!

I am a tenant having issues with my new water heater tripping the breaker. Of course over a holiday weekend. On the bright side it was under warranty. I was given a 4 hour window for arrival and received a call at the beginning of the window. WIN! The technician, Ryan, was kind, respectful, clean, informative and helpful. I have extremely hard water, 47! IYKYK, he changed an element, helped me adjust my softner and diagnosed a weak breaker. He would have changed the breaker but the replacement has to be ordered. AND he took my old water heater for a very minimal fee. He made the appointment EASY not stressful at all!! Service and knowledge matter. Thank you!
Great local electrician who takes the time to explain your options (pros/cons), teach how to do some of the easier tasks yourself (if you want to), and makes sure his guys did the job the right way. Relieved I don’t have to shop around anymore for a reliable electrician next time the need arises!

I was in a pickle. I had to tend to a serious family health issue at local hospital, yet half of our house was without electricity with Fourth of July holiday the next day. I desperately started searching for electricians. The first one was unable to troubleshoot electrical shortage. I started to panic a bit. Thankfully I came across Greg, Faza Electric. Immediately when I spoke with him on phone, and then met him in person, I could see how he exuded quiet confidence, caring personality and utmost professionalism. Amazingly, he came to our house the morning of the Fourth of July as he had promised knowing our predicament. He methodically narrowed down where the short occurred. We actually had 2 outlets that had compromised wiring. He fixed the issue at an unbelievably fair price point. He is an extremely competent electrician and a great human being. I’m hoping that he or one of his electricians will be available when we encounter a future need. He really made me feel good and holiday weekend was much more enjoyable. Many, many thanks, Greg.
I was extremely blessed in locating Chris (owner) from Mr. Light Services. He is a talented electrician. Aside from being smart and professional, he is a good guy. Very easy to work with. I live in a downtown high rise. Chris changed the 40 year-old electrical panel in my unit, obtained a permit from the city to satisfy building requirements for a first time washer / dryer install, and changed various lighting fixtures. The guys that work for him are equally as good. Last. but not least, the prices are fair and reasonable. You will be a happy camper and well taken care of, if you reach out to Mr. Light Services, for any electrical needs you have. I have them an A+ rating.
These guys took a bad situation and really put a sense of calm over it. Very professional and empathetic throughout the entire process. A huge deal for me was that they are full-service...meaning, they put you completely back to where you were before the damage, instead of leaving you to find the means to "put it all back together again" after they've left. We’ve been using Fresh Tech Maids for a couple of years now and we’ve never been disappointed with the work they’ve done, especially Ariana, who’s been our cleaner for a while. She’s always on time and if she’ll be early or late, she always lets me know. She’s great with our cats and any changing cleaning needs we have. I can’t recommend them and her enough.

I had a great experience with Anna and her team getting 20 year old carpet removed and new LVP installed. Upon doing some research, I realized the importance of proper subfloor preparation when it comes to LVP. I was thrilled to hear about their lifetime installation warranty. When Santiago came to do my initial consultation he was very transparent about the leveling that would be needed so the estimate provided would be accurate. Anna helped me pick products amongst their wide selection and let me take home samples so I could really feel them out in my space. I did consultations with 3 other flooring company and I picked America's Flooring Store because of their availability, wide selection, and great customer service. Anna worked with me and my budget and I was so happy with the final result. Absolutely beautiful.
Jim and his crew did a great job refinishing my 50 year old floors to their original beauty. And, they were fast, reasonably priced. Jim is a real "neighborhood kind of guy" who is easy to work with and even got someone to take my piano away for free!He also replaced the treads on my stairs after we ripped off the carpeting. They look a thousand times better and make such a difference in the overall aesthetic of my house.

We’ve worked with ABC Home Expert on a few projects already, and the experience has always been great. Our last project was a condo flip in Chicago that needed a full refresh, and their team handled everything which made the process much easier for us. What I really liked is that they didn’t push to replace things that were still in good shape. In the kitchen we kept the cabinets and just updated the countertops, backsplash, and a few details. It completely changed the look without going over budget. They’re very detail-oriented and even helped with the small finishing touches before listing. The house looked amazing and sold very quickly. I cannot say enough positive things about Pacocha Landscaping. From the moment I called until the completion of service they have been great to work with. For background, I called three companies to come check out what I wanted done and also get a quote for landscaping service. Joe and team were the only one's who actually listened to what I wanted and provided a quote of services that reflected that as opposed to a generic boilerplate quote that included nothing that I wanted. For reference, I just moved into a house where the landscape, while once looked nice, was completely out of control with weeds and needed treatment beyond what I could provide along with mulch etc.
The attention to detail and care the whole team put into my yard has really provided an excellent customer experience. Ultimately, I now have a great looking yard that I can enjoy and not have to worry about.

If you are not into pain. Dr. Wiese should be your Dentist. If you are busy and do not want to have multiple appointments for a crown or tooth replacement etc then Dr Wiese is the dentist for you. He has the best equipment and team to get you in and out in a friendly professional way. I encourage you to call the office and schedule a cleaning or visit.

I started therapy in June of 2025 to prevent having hip surgery, although I felt stronger the pain was still on and off. I tried the Sofwave treatment and it helped but again not enough. Sofwave helps rejuvenate tissue & muscle which they said will help your recovery even if you decide on surgery. March 17th had hip surgery and in 3 days, walking with no assistance, no pain pills, I felt amazing. Fantastic chiropractor. My family has been seeing him for years. Never asks to see you more than you need to. Sets his pricing to be affordable to everyone. Most recently I threw my back out for the first time. Could barely walk. Honestly walked out his office feeling 100x better and by the next day it was like I hadn’t had pain. I expected a slight change but not that much. And it’s a great friendly family business.
I was referred to see Dr. Khan and his team after dealing with back pain from a car accident. At first I was a little skeptical of the physical therapy process. However, after a week I started feeling a noticeable decrease in pain. After two more weeks, the back pain was halfway gone. By the time I was at six weeks, pain from the accident was almost gone!
Dr. Khan's PT system works and he's truly a master in his field. He is just an all-around smart guy for anything medical and scientific as well. Bright is very skilled at choosing the right PT exercises to target the problem. I would always get out of bed the day after PT feeling an improvement.
Dr. Khan and his team took great care of me, and now I'm back to living life normally and pain free!

So far we are really happy here. The front desk people are always friendly. The vet techs are always kind to our pets and knowledgeable. We have seen more of Dr. Sheridan in our appointments. I think because he is newer to the practice but I don't believe he's a new vet. He's very knowledgeable. He's also to the point and explains things thoroughly.
Great experience at March so far. I would say their prices are in line for what things cost in Arlington Heights. Nothing is cheap here, but I would say the prices are what I would expect.

As always Dr. Flaska is kind and caring with our Chocolate Lab. She loves him and is very vocal about him coming in to see her. He is always patient and thorough with his exam. He listens to my concerns. We have worked together to get through many bacteria infections. He is clear with instructions and tries different approaches. This is our third Lab we have taken there over the years. The ladies at the front desk have been efficient,, tolerant of a barking nervous pup and when I have been in distress they have been very compassionate.

My husband got me a gift certificate here for a pregnancy massage as a Mother’s Day gift. I’ve only gotten a massage one other time in my life so am definitely not an expert on what to do. Gaby was absolutely wonderful and made me feel so comfortable especially at 37 weeks pregnant. She’s very easy to talk to and is extremely knowledgeable in her profession. She offers a pregnancy pillow that you can lay face down on that made me very comfortable the whole time even at this far along. I could’ve taken a nap there! The ambiance/music/lighting is also very relaxing and you walk out feeling very refreshed. Her hands are magical! Gaby even gave me 20% off to come back for a postpartum massage so will definitely be using that as an excuse to return! 10/10 would recommend :)

I live in Colorado but was visiting the Chicago area this past summer. I met an acupuncturist at a different clinic and wanted to see her one more time before heading back. She works part time at Juntendo clinic so my last appointment was there. I have chronic bronchitis and whenever I have a flare up acupuncture is the only thing that helps. While I was in the waiting room I started coughing and my acupuncturist brought me a cup of water with a syrup in it that really calmed my cough. When I was through with my treatment, I asked if I could buy a bottle of the cough remedy but it turns out that they don't sell it, it was from Dr Ye's personal remedies. She got an empty bottle and gave me probably 2-3 ounces of it and didn't charge me for it. I'm writing this months later because my bronchitis flared up again recently, I took what was left over, found it on Amazon, ordered it and it has helped calm it down tremendously. Thanks to Dr. Ye's generosity I have found something that helps after searching for years. I highly recommend her clinic!!!
