When we bought our Lincoln Park condo, we knew the parquet floors were badly damaged by years of water exposure. Our realtors at Chicago Residential Partners recommended Good Wood Flooring & Carpentry but warned us that it's almost impossible to patch parquet floors to match the original. They asked if we wanted to replace the whole floor, which would have been too costly. We said no, do your best, and they did! They replaced about 20 square feet of wood, sanded the discolored areas, and stained the entire floor to match the natural color. You can barely tell the new areas, and it all looks great! Mike and his crew refinished all of the floors on the first floor of our house, and we could not be happier! The color is beautiful and unique, and Mike worked with us (with patience) to make sure we were completely satisfied 😊 The dust was SO minimal and the cleaning job they did was amazing! I would highly recommend using Good Wood Flooring! They also moved all of our furniture without a problem and his pricing is SO reasonable!! Great job!!

Mike was very responsive and worked with our cabinet installers to refinish the floors right when they had completed the kitchen demo. They look great! We would definitely recommend Good Wood!
