He removed the access panel, used a camera to inspect the evaporator coil, and showed exactly what he was seeing. The coil was extremely dirty and clogged. Rather than immediately trying to sell expensive new equipment, he took the time to clean the coil and check the refrigerant. After cleaning the coil, the air conditioner cooled the house beautifully, ran quieter, and the refrigerant lines were no longer freezing. He gave straightforward information without pressuring to purchase anything. They did everything possible to track down the required part and kept us updated throughout the process.
