We were off-island while guests were staying in the condo when the AC stopped working one evening. The next morning, I called every AC repair company on the Kona side, and Hawaii Air Conditioning was the only one that picked up. I wasn’t sure what type of AC unit was installed, but really appreciated how helpful Andriette was, she clearly explained the pricing for different systems and what to expect during maintenance and diagnostic. She even scheduled a technician that same afternoon, and they got the AC back up and running quickly.
They also filed a rebate on our behalf, which was reflected in the bill. The pricing was fair, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend them for your AC repairs.

We stayed at Holualoa Inn and upon booking the beach elopement package, we were soon connected with Pink Pineapple Weddings, where we were introduced to Mike and Dawn. Mike, our officiant, and Dawn, our photographer, are the sweetest couple to work with. The photos were stunning, and the bouquet and flower crown that Dawn created were absolutely beautiful. I simply told her I love red and orange flowers, and she brought them to life perfectly. Mike has a great sense of humor and the ceremony flowed smoothly. You both are truly remarkable. The sweet lady working this place was very helpful. It was crazy hard to find really nice fake flower leis on the big island. I’m not sure why. Easy to find on the other islands.
She directed us to a couple other stores in the area. They had nothing. So we came back and purchased a couple items from her store as a thank you for her generosity. She does have quite the assortment of knickknacks though worth stopping by.

I can’t recommend these guys enough. From Kai handing out equipment and getting us settled to Captain Levi & the all knowledgable Erika, the experience was unforgettable. We saw, I believe, 6 or 7 that night and it was incredible. Erika was super informative & not only was it amazing, but we learned so much. I highly recommend these guys!

Dr. Tod is a very experienced Chiropractor. He has helped me with lower back pain issues so I can get back to work. I see him on a monthly basis to keep me in good health.
We had two massages with two different masseuses while we were on the island. Both were great but Kat was absolutely amazing. After chatting about the focus for the session, she warned me up, then jumped right in to the body work. She knew how to read my body and alleviate the pain at the source. I get body work done often and this was the best I’ve had in a year, possibly ever. I would highly recommend.

I had a delightful experience at Couture Claws! This was my first visit, and I got matched with Jordan, a Pedicurist and one of the owners. I booked a Deluxe Couture Pedicure (90-min). After a foot soak in their signature copper pot, Jordan gave his full attention to cleaning and exfoliating my feet after which both my feet and lower legs were given various luxurious treatments ending with a wonderful massage. I particularly loved that many of the treatment products they use are created by the wonderful Amanda with Paper Crane Soaps :-) To finish, my toenails were painted with my selection from a wide color palette of polishes. Couture Claws is a cozy local shop set up by a local couple in partnership with other talented personal care professionals. I particularly enjoyed the welcoming vibe, the lively banter and the overall community feel of the space. Lastly, I also appreciated that Jordan offered me a discount due to a "special" that I had not known about previously as well as a take home gift for being a first time customer. And there is plenty of parking :-)

I feel like this is too good to be true, but i am about 10 months post cut and I STILL love my hair. This was the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I have even had several close friends tell me, “this is the best hair cut you’ve ever had.” ? when the owner of the salon was cutting my hair, she really worked with my natural hair. She told me she didn’t want to do it in anyway that I myself couldn’t maintain. I loved that. She warned me my hair would be really frizzy for a few days post cut, that was true and it was and then it settled down. Just small, helpful tips that made it the best experience I’ve ever had. So HIGHLY recommend! I can’t remember the owners name, but THANK YOU for an amazing hair cut!

Jericho was amazing with my 7 yo. My son has long hair and doesn't like haircuts. Jericho was really gentle with all of his tangle and dealt with the monster dread that he had. He gave him a really nice undercut and managed to keep his hair long despite the monster dread. He's very skilled and takes his craft very seriously. 100% recommend!!
Yes it may be very difficult to get through but thank God for redial button. We always feel we hit the jackpot whenever we get through and be able to place an order. That is after trying for 2 hours. Makes eating it all the more satisfying. Whatever roll you feel like eating that day, make sure you get the spicy mayo. A roll will feed 2 not so hungry sushifanatics. But why order just one if you worked on it for 2 hours. You know what I mean?
Love this salon and love Hilaria as a stylist! I've been going to her for a year and she always makes me feel super comfortable, we have a great conversation, and I leave with a cut that looks good for months to come.
They did a fantastic job, make sure you bring cash to tip your technician, they do not do card tips.

She saved my eyebrows! After a really unfortunate wax job at another place in Kona, she got me in very last minute. Not only do my eyebrows look amazing. She was also very kind, validating, listened, asked questions and gave me exactly what I wanted. I definitely recommend for all your waxing needs!
My boyfriend and I got Sacred Jade Stone Massages with Zander and Jennifer. The experience of being somewhere dedicated to setting a comfortable, relaxing, and welcoming environment started from the moment we stepped foot through the doors. The therapists were both professional and amazing at their jobs. 10/10 would be a regular if not for the fact that we are vacationing.
I love coming to Jessica for my lash look. I get a lot of compliments from it. She does her lashes neatly, not overwhelming and you can’t go wrong with her price. Her studio is very welcoming and clean as well. Even when I call her last minute she always has time to squeeze everyone in. I trust her with my lash look. And to top it all she’s a very down to earth person and always keeping the conversation going.

Janice is hands down my favorite technician I've worked with (Style, fullness, price, speed, and just easy to get along with!). Highly recommend!

My wife and I always get tattooed when we come to the Islands and we always try to find a shop where we feel like part of the family, and we definitely felt that today. Josh is an amazing artist and idid and amazing job on both out tattoos, we will definitely be coming back, best shop in the Island.
We found Bee Inked after having a very pushy encounter with another artist in town. This was our teenage son's first tattoo. Emily never tried to make his design her own, but offered advice and was patient with questions. We appreciated her suggestion to make the font thinner and more spaced, to maintain the design for longer. Her relaxed manner kept my son distracted as she worked and they chatted about music. The finished product is very crisp and just as he wanted. Thank you also for the medical-grade wrap which kept the new tattoo securely covered during our travel home. While Emily was working, we shared experiences with a couple who showed up unhappy with another shop. Sure enough, Emily's respect for the customer (and general peacefulness) won them over too. We are big fans!
Rockwood is totally a bad ass. True life Rockstar, with the persona to back it up. He had tattooed so many famous rock starts and knows them all with signed photos to back it up. And his work is stunning. Next choice i have ever made regarding a tattoo.
Same.morni g day of tattoo appointment. We called when they opened a d they booked us immediately. There are 3 of us... my self, my best friend d of 21 years and her grandmother. Whom happeneds to be celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary and is completing a vow renewal. We all got matching writing tattoos. They were happy to accommodate what each of us wanted in variation to the words and font and colors. They talked with each of us and checked in several times before during and after the tattoo. I got a teal green/blue cursive font only. Grandmother got matching font and writing with an added turtle and flower. Best friend got the dame word and font and added flower. We also purchased some family woven bracelets made by one of our artists and his daughter.Requested style: Asked for an exact word and font and showed a picture. They followed through well.Specialties: Asked for colored ink. Asked for embellishments and design.Cleanliness: Super clean and tidy.Stylist: Wonderful conversations and times to be had.

Couldn't have been better. I called in the morning about a balky toilet connection to the water line, the repairmen arrived in early afternoon, and the toiled was repaired shortly thereafter, including a trip to bury a defective part. I hope I have no more plumbing issues, but if I do, P & S willl be my first choice.

I had the best experience I have ever had in my life with a contractor in Kona. The first time I called I spoke to Daniel and he scheduled to give an estimate within that week. Then he did the entire job, which was changing out my electrical panel plus install of a split AC system with all the drains and piping the next week. Communication was amazing and the quality of the work was excellent. I highly recommend Daniel and his company to anyone. Just Amazing!
I can't say enough positives about my experience. I needed an outlet installed and I got a prompt call back and had an electrician here within an hour the same day. Turns out the job was a little different than we thought, but he pivoted easily and was a huge help, going beyond what he really had to. Very professional, extremely personable. I will definitely call again for electrical jobs and recommend their service.
Aaron spent a half hour on the phone with me to help me figure out an electrical issue with my dishwasher. There was no charge. Ed’s Cleaning Service was so reliable and effective. I got an estimate over the phone, agreed to the service. Marcel came right in time. He did exactly what he said he would to, it took about as long as he estimated. Everything he cleaned looks fabulous, and the price was the same as the estimate. What more can you ask? I wish I worked with Dave & Mark from the beginning. We had another contractor that butchered the job, twice! I'm off island making this whole process harder but Dave reassured me that he's done this before. Unlike other companies, Dave had no problem picking up the flooring I selected at Home Depot and helped me find other items that were sold out. The flooring came out great. They cleaned up afterwards and sent pictures throughout the process. I'll be working with Dave again once I finish the kitchen.

Really Great Service! The estimator AJ was very professional and shared his knowledge and answered all my questions. The people that came to treat the house were kind and respectful. I really enjoyed the fact that this treatment is guaranteed non-toxic, great for early spot treatments and it faded fairly quickly to a citrus-y after scent. We didn't need to leave the house, we just hung out in the garden and was able to go in and out as needed. It is safe for humans, plants and pets. I recommend SmartPest for sure!
I called Bowman to do a pretreatment for termites on our new construction. Even though it was a last minute request, they where able to find a spot on their schedule for us. they were professional, courteous and called me back in a very timely fashion. they took the time to explain the process to me and I would highly recommend them in the future.

I visited Dr. DiNatale due to a lower back injury wherein my back was locked up and I could barely move. In just a few visits she got me going again and my mobility and strength was retuned. She has a great amount of knowledge, experience and has a multi-modal approach.Dr Dinatale was kind, caring and professional and checked in with me between visits. I would definitely recommend her for both short term and long term care. Dr Kawamoto was excellent with Elliott. He's an old school Vet and I like that. No beating around the bush as they say. He was efficient and fast. Very good medical advice for my older cat. He was able to do a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within the next business day so we could fly out. I highly recommend!
The staff is kind and helpful. I feel my pets are in safe hands every visit. And the veterinarian is great at communicating and clearly cares for his patients. I'd recommend them to anyone.

We had two massages with two different masseuses while we were on the island. Both were great but Kat was absolutely amazing. After chatting about the focus for the session, she warned me up, then jumped right in to the body work. She knew how to read my body and alleviate the pain at the source. I get body work done often and this was the best I’ve had in a year, possibly ever. I would highly recommend.
Christy over the years have been a great help to me. I regularly schedule a clairvoyant reading with her at least once a year and it has changed my life. I have even had family and friends go to her and they say the same. She is just wonderfully extraordinary. I hope to schedule a message with her soon and make my experience complete.
Caring therapeutic touch. Managed to release tightness in areas that I never knew could be tight. I have fibro and need more of a myofascial massage, and she delivered! Don't be put off by the chaotic hair salon at the entrance.
I get acupuncture and massage done here. Acupuncture here is great, and the practioner is very accommodating. Always feel better after my sessions here.
