I have to tell you! I have lived on the Big Island for 7 years and I literally was on Yelp and this nail salon was listed as highly recommended! I have to 100% agree! I saw Bonnie for an acrylic fill with gel polish today and I love it! She did an amazing job. What a down to earth lady! She really know her stuff! If you aren’t happy with your nail salon and feel you have tried every nail salon on the Big Island, well you haven’t tried Aloha Nails. I suggest you give Aloha Nails a try. They are very reasonably priced as well! Their new address is 75-6082 Ali’i Drive. Ask for Bonnie! Mahalo!
This place is great but it is so expensive compared to home. It's probably comparable to other places on the island. They did a great job on my nails, it was very clean and the people were very nice. It was very busy. You definitely need an appointment.
They will make you feel like Ohana from when you walk in the door-- I really needed some "me time" and it was fun to chat with them and have a few laughs-- made me feel right at home. If you are on vacation or live on TBI full time-- booking with them is a no brainer! Make sure you book ahead of time as their appointment slots fill up quickly. Bonnie did my nails and she did an excellent job. I know she had to work a little harder getting the old polish off (who knows what that other salon used on my nails ) But, she took her time and made sure not to damage my nails. After she prepped my nails she then actually took time helping me pick my color. I fell like that's such a frustrating part and loved having help!! They turned out perfectly-- see the photos!!!! Also, remember if you buy a gift card-- they are independent contractors and you need to book with who sold you the card but, you can't go wrong with either Bonnie or Mary Jane! I Loved Aloha Nail and I already have my next appointment on the books!!
