If possible, I like to get a tattoo when I travel to a new place. I love talking with the local artists and what better souvenir to take home than a sweet tattoo!? I only had a few days left in Kona and while we were walking around the shops, I stumbled across Voodoo tattoo and stopped in to see if they possibly had any availability for the next day (still having no idea what I actually wanted). Lions greeted me and said they did have availability so I went ahead and got on the schedule. He told me to just email him some photos of inspo of what I wanted that night and we'd be good to go. I had a sorry looking old tattoo and Lions was able to freshen it up and give it new life. It looks so good now!! Lions listened to what I wanted ( which was kind of vague) and added just what was needed to re-create the honu in a whole new life! Felt so comfortable, had so little pain that we ended up chatting the whole time. The healing was a cinch, too. Definitely a good experience ~ big mahalo to Lions and the staff!

LIONS IS AMAZING.My new tattoo from him when my husband and I visited is freakin amazing. Thank you so much for being such a cool dude to spend our last day in the island with! Can’t wait to see you again for more ink!
