I booked the Island Cooler treatment at the Lotus Center on my recent trip to the Big Island. I've been fortunate to visit many spas, and I was so deliriously happy with my experience at the Lotus Center. There were some minor issues with scheduling (I think I received my treatments in a different order than advertised, and received a facial instead of the aloe wrap that is listed in the treatment description) but the esthetician who administered my scrub and facial was one of the kindest and most talented I have ever had the pleasure of receiving a service from. It's not fancy, but I got a great pedicure as a walk-in after trying other places that claimed to be walk-in friendly (but turned me away when I didn't have an appointment). I really enjoyed chatting with the nail techs and was well taken care of. Prices are super reasonable too, my standard spa pedicure was $25 plus tax and tip. It's a small place, two manicure stations and two pedicure massage chairs. My only suggestion would be to replace some of the polish choices -- some we're definitely old and needed to be refreshed.

Had a great experience at this salon! Vivienne and Jo were awesome. They were so funny and so fun to talk to. I had a pedi and my daughter had a mani. They did a wonderful job. We stay at the Kona Alii every year so this is my go to salon from now on!
